I run an eBay store, and I never skimp out on shipping always next day delivery. I totally agree that fast shipping can seriously boost sales. Great video!
It's stupid that people shout " I want to be successful at ecommerce" and then go watch tons of guru content about finding a winning product and not instead come watch Zach rant/reflect about his business and experience of ecommerce.
Great video! I had the same challenge with fulfillment delays. Switching to Service Points significantly cut delivery times and costs. Curious if others here have found similar solutions?
Great insight, thanks for sharing. In my opinion this business will always be lucrative because people simply need to buy things. You just have to find good products to sell (I am using a lot of winnerzila. Their lifetime plan is really amazing value imo), and make your store a little bit appealing. That´s a formula to success in my opinion. If someone is wondering, my favorite niches are pets and electronics, you can always have good money in these.
Hi Mr, I want to ask about you selling products, do you buy the goods first for your home for Product Samples (i mean Tiktok Organic) or do you just advertise them directly on your website?
The brands we work with usually manufacture their own products! So they create them from scratch which means they definitely have them in person. Some brands retail other popular companies products too, and do the fulfilment themselves (I.e they have their own warehouses), so they’ve got tons of product in person!
Can you elaborate how they could afford your service + adspend when cogs was already at 60 percent? Not sure if you meant by increasing prices from 20 to 200 usd thats a 10x, for a product that is already popular and exists on Amazon, where they have the fastest shipping. Did you add new products to increase AoV? or just trying to upsell as much as possible and that worked? Other products in that case must be more profitable aka lower Cogs?
More products, and bundles helped us increase AOV, we’ve actually stayed competitive on pricing the entire time as we’re running on Google Shopping! COGS has stayed high tbh. We operate around a 4.5x blended. With our fees, net profit was negative first month. By month 2 and 3 we were operating at about 15% contribution margin and 10% net margin. Net margin is up to 12% in the last 30 days with $187,000 in revenue (this includes around $14,000 in fees to flax).
would be Great if you can do , acvtive ad account/s breakdown ,day one , day four , week one , week two ,etc. , no names mentioned, no brands mentioned , all blurry , just approach and thought process , this will act as 2 things, first , Customer would see in in ACTION , actually seeing your thought process when , scaling , down-scaling , anything , And second , it will be an overall "close to home" Review , something that is actually , Practical ! Awesome energy though , hope you the best.
My retention hack wasn’t as successful as I thought it might be. Shoulda told everyone at the beginning I was picking up a Ferrari or something to keep them watching till the end 😋😅🥹🤦 Kidding don’t want viewers that are here for that stuff
Hey Zach , really nice video ! I was wondering if I could help you with Best Quality Editing in your videos which visually appeal to audience and would increase average view duration and will also make a highly engaging Thumbnail which will overall help your videos to reach to a wider audience ? Pls let me know what do you think ?

Youve made 230 000 in sales, cool, but how much have you spent on ads? And after accounting for that, and taxes, how much profit did you make, if any?
I outline the profit numbers in one of the other comments, and I also summarize them at some point in the video I believe!
