Thank you for watching my tutorial. It really depends on what size of thread you use, if you are using size 20, you will need more thread. Since round 2 has onion rings, I think you may want to wind half shuttle of thread, for round 3, it has lots of rings and chains, so, I will say wind about 3/4 shuttle of thread, or even full shuttle. Since you want to avoid adding new thread, it is always the best wind them full. (I don’t mind to add thread, so, I seldom count how much thread I need, and usually just estimate the length by “guessing”. ) 😆

I think fabric glue is good too. If you don't have that, then, I think white glue is also good enough, as it will turn transparent after air dry. :)
