dont ask me how this stays on the tube only version of it there is and its a bad thing no video or owt for our entertainment purposes and this is the best version of this song
The official video for the 1992 remix was actually the same video as the 1983 original version except it had letters superimposed on top of it, such as "TEM" - "TA" - "TION".
I bought this CD single remix in 1992. This is a much better version that the original release in 1982. The 1982 version does not have enough punch to it.
I was around for and remember both versions coming out. First time I heard the second version it was in Renaissance in Mansfield I can tell you it absolutley rocked the place. I like both but will forever prefer the second version BinR did a brilliant job with it.
I remember this banging out the speakers in the Hacienda back in the day and the place absolutely rocked. I was also around when the original was out in the 80’s, I like both versions
Me meeting this particular nurse at my ADHD thingamajig for the first time and he was trying to know me better. "So what do you like to?' Uhm, I dance a lot. Like in clubs. "I bet you're a terrific dancer!" Yeah!
That was Top Of The Pops rule in the older years 80s into 90s, probably to get more acts on, less setting up. But it does look kind of cheap when they're clearly miming. Then one time, famously one artist couldn't hear their audio but it played on tv, so they sat on stools motionless with cameras panning around them as we the tv audience heard the track. Similar thing happened to Owen Paul on Pebble Mill. My Favourite waste of time playing him stood leaning on a handrail no reaction to the song. You gotta laugh really!

That’s Dave Seaman and Steve Anderson in the back there - Brothers In Rhythm
Was my favourite song in the 80s and remains so to this day. It is just the complete bomb.

Totally agreed with that one, remember how much I loved that song and used to tape it from the radio in late 92.
Peaked at #4 in U.K. on 22 November 1992

Definitive version.
I think the original 1983 version is the definitive version.
Good update of the song and both versions are good in their own right. I wonder why Carol Kenyon didn't appear in the original video...
@jaredyjaredy What rubbish you spout.
I just did, and it's not. The end.
Is it cuz I is black? - Ali G

ruclips.net/video/1khy9_E4h44/видео.html This performance makes LMAO to this day.
@@abingleyboyThat was All About Eve, very unfortunate for them.
3:11 - The model miming forgets the correct lyrics to the song.
The singer did not forget the lyrics. In the video I had to use some sections twice because the correct ones were not available.
