So after listening to the album a few more times and re-reading the lyrics, I realized that a couple things in Let Me In went right over my head. It actually goes with the vampire concept quite well since vampires need an invitation to enter someone’s home, so they need someone to “let them in”. Also the part where they say “I’ll give you my blood” also goes with vampire lore because in many versions of vampire mythology, in order to be transformed into a vampire, one has to not only be bitten, but also ingest the vampire’s blood as well. I cannot believe it didn’t click in my brain during the first listen. Also I know the MV for Let Me In is now out. I haven’t been able to react to it yet, but am hoping to have my reaction posted by the 23rd (USA time).
My favourite from the album is definitely Given-Taken.. but 10 months is just as close.. the songs vibe and the lyrics are really fun.. I really loved it n the way they perform it is so adorable 🙈
