Hi Willreina, not at all. It's muted but still pigmented and the undertones are enough to prevent a pale look. You can build up the color and make it darker than what is seen in the photos. Hope this helps!

The shades look pretty light in the official photos. Do they have a tendency to make you look a little pale specially for light to medium skin?😊

It showed on me. but I got the red shade
