Thank you, it’s great to have Dr C who provides a really professional dialogue. I like how he describes the process and uses the right words. I am not dumb and I like being treated like I have a brain. Dr C has helped me to understand my Doctors and the terms they use.

You are very welcome. The surgeons we feature on the Foundation page are very good at describing the various processes and decisions folks like you face Ranne. I am so glad you found it helpful. Thanks for your comment.

I am getting my DIEP done next week and the operation video made me very aware of what the surgeons will be doing. I felt very informed. Thank you so much. I am looking forward to swimming without worrying about losing my prosthetic. The seat belt will no longer slide off and there will no longer be any uncomfortable sweating.🤗😃🧐😍

Thank you. Next month I meet with the onc surgeon and plastic surgeon. I would like DIEP flap reconstruction. I was not aware of the numbness degree or nerve reconstruction. I am so glad I came across this during my research. I know nothing will be as before but I just want to feel comfortable and natural after reconstruction.

Wonderful statement, "I just want to feel comfortable and natural after reconstruction". This is how I felt and continue to feel five and a half years later. Best wishes!
