Bunny: Is night
"Is afternoon"
Bunny:Bunny talk= I know, just making small talk to keep the conversation going.
Actually this is an extract from a longer video/conversation when her dad was away. She was missing her dad 🥺 and her mom told her that her dad would be home “today night”. I’m convinced this interchange here was Bunny trying to reset the current time to “night” so that her dad would be home with her already! 🥺🥰🤗🤗🤗
I had the same instinct
@@davidburke2132 actually that's not what happened. Mom told her that Dad would be home in the afternoon. Bunny asked in the afternoon. Mom said it would be later in the afternoon
@@brendalg4 yes, but then she clarified to “night” because she probably realised that Bunny was getting confused because it was already afternoon. Watch it again… I summarised an abridged version for brevity 🤷🏼♂️
So... hows the weather? :D How have you been? How is your day?
I love how she looks outside and gets her idea for a topic that will stimulate some dialogue.
You ACTUALLY believe that?
@@ohrightok9750Why not? She's shown a pretty advanced comprehension.
@@ohrightok9750 Well, if you can do it...
Who is bunny
@@ohrightok9750its completely true. The dog is now suffering from depression because it thinks it should be a person- not joking
In education, we are always told to give students plenty of wait time when asking questions. Your wait time patience is impressive. 😄
@Aaron Douglas bruh what are you smoking???? fucking weirdo

I honestly just want to comment here because why not. Hello peoples
Yes! I love watching Bunny’s thoughts load
Thank you for sharing that. I immediately felt something click when I read your comment.
I was labeled shy or stupid by everyone, and I just accepted that because everybody said it, and I didn’t know any better. But when I was a young kid, I was never given any time to think before responding, and the insecurity that I felt from that treatment carried over into school and the rest of my life. This corresponds to my family’s behavior of not giving more than one or two seconds to respond before a person is written off, and never discussing emotions or anything of importance to social development…because they’re not socially well adjusted! Frick!
Now I’m middle aged and I’ve been in therapy for years and seeing a psychiatrist who thinks I need medications to give me “a push,” she says. And now I feel sick and angry and sad and I’m crying. That conditioning has caused me so many problems and nobody has ever been able to answer the question “Why?” until now.
I can’t thank you the way that I would like to, and certainly not how you deserve to be thanked. I think your words may have just changed my life.
Thank you. I wish all the best things for you.
She knows it’s not night. She’s just trying to spur conversation. She so
Proud of her ability
Bunny's sense of humor is a sign of her amazing intelligence. Plus it's just delightful.
Exactly!
You know you mastered a new language when you can make poetry and jokes in it.
Sense of humor? Dog is pushing random buttons for praise and attention.
@@bradensorensen966YES, THANK YOU! THESE NPC'S ARE DRIVING ME CRAZY. THE DOG IS PUSHING BUTTONS THAT ILLICIT A REACTION, HOW HARD IS THAT PULL TO SWALLOW?!

@@KM-nj3cm ...? No
The one time some tells you 'we need to talk' and it doesn't give you anxiety.
You'll have to teach her about weather soon so Bunny can small talk too.
😂😂😂
This is a great idea, actually. 'Rain' 'Sunny' 'Hot' 'Cold' 'Snow' 'Nice' Though, how would you introduce the concept of 'Hot' to a dog without making a dog uncomfortably hot? Same for cold. Seems like the training for those particular aspects would be cruel. Maybe just keep it to 'clear' 'rain' 'snow'. Bunny probably already knows 'snow', no way a dog would forget snow. And I can imagine the confusion about rain during bath time. 'Bunny' 'Mad' 'Rain'
@@danielduncan6806
Maybe you could put a toy in the freezer/fridge for a bit and when you take it out model cold like "tug cold" or similar? You'd want multiple toys to make sure the model gets across properly. Hot could equally be heated foods or other things that Bunny could touch that are hot but not (super) painfully so. Combined with the "outside" button you could probably get across hot and cold fairly well.
@@karnewarrior Bastian knows fridge treat
I think I recently saw a video of Billie the cat asking "why wet outside?" referring to the rain.
Language really opens up a lot of doors for them and us. You have to remember, they don't even know why it rains, or that it's called rain. They know that it just does.
It's great that we can almost make them understand the _why._
“Come talk”
Long silence.
“How about those Cubs hmmm”
How about big water? Hmmm
My favorite banality!
😂❤🐾 hmmm???
I like how she looked at the windows before asking whether it's night
What makes you think she asked? Maybe she just stated the obviously wrong...
Apophnia, seing patterns in random data
I cant help but imagine we may see the inner psyche of this dog that we would of never expected, good or bad 😢
seriously i couldn't use those buttons with half the efficiency that she does! And she's talking in what is essentially a foreign language to her! Dogs are not only nicer than most people, they're cleverer too!
Do the buttons on your keyboard, or digital buttons on your handheld device not count?
@@danielduncan6806 no
@@danielduncan6806 Those buttons were designed for my species, to a dog, they're very much a part of a foreign language.
You must be impaired then
That moment when I realised Bunny was interested in communicating for the interest in the art/game of communicating and not sharing something specific. I related to this so hard. ♡
Bunny is so smart he has taught you tricks.
There are a lot of animals using buttons to talk .But Bunnie is the only one that ponders why she's a dog and not human .She is far more intelligent than any of the other animals I've seen. I love how aware she is. I also feel sorry for her, because of the same reason.
I keep waiting for her to ask why humans have hands and dogs don't.
God, I just love her and watching her progress so much.
I love it because people almost universally considered this impossible less than 2 years ago
@@nickmagrick7702 omg yeah! I know the general consensus for a very long time was that dogs essentially have the minds of a 2-year-old child and could memorize a couple hundreds words, but I think having people like Bunny and HungerForWords really brought to light how intelligent these creatures actually are.
My grandma used to tell me that you just have to talk to your dog like you’d talk to your kids. Help them understand their world and they’ll be better pets for it and she has some of the most well-behaved dogs I’ve ever met. It’s so crazy.
@@CatherineDoggett1234 other animals and creatures are much more conscious than we give them credit for as well. Superiority complex long overdue to be broken if you ask me.
Yeah treating your dog like your kids is a good rule of thumb. They won't pick up everything the language brings, but they will learn the patterns and subtle cues over time. Then again apparently they can learn the language if we put in the effort.
I was really shocked to learn several years ago just how self aware Jumping Spiders are. I don't know if all arachnids are conscious, but jumping spiders definitely are. Makes me wonder how many others are conscious on the level of self actualization.
I have a new dog now, shes not a wolf, but still crazy smart. Shes so smart in fact id say shes about as smart as the average person no joke. She picks up on subtle ques many other people would miss. Well I say shes my dog but shes not shes my moms dog, if she was mine I would have started teaching her to speak like this day one. Malinois and she already understand like 30ish words and thats just from passively hearing me talk.
Am I the only one crepped out with this? I'm crepped but can't stop watching!
I love how bunny thinks. It appears that she is always deep in thought, trying to understand everything. She is so smart!
Is night in her soul. Her poetry is evolving.
That dog-smile!
I love that she invited you to talk.
Maybe she wanted mom to do a little training session with her or come up with a topic. She seemed like she wanted to spend time and talk but didn't know what, so she came up with the next best best thing haha 😆😍
This is just the sweetest thing, having small talk with your dog 🥰
I’ve noticed that she hits buttons twice … like “talk, talk” - as if she’s taking in to account that it’s a conversation between two people.
I think the word talk got added because Bunny was saying things like sound tug. The scientists told Alexis they thought that bunny was talking about talking
@@brendalg4 ah, in her mind a conversation is probably a tug of war, of words.
@@brendalg4 Holy cow. Bunny will never not amaze me.
Look at the beautiful smile on that Puppy, when her Momma says "Okay I come talk".
Bunny talk talk = bunny talk about talking
The amount if buttons she has memorized and can use quickly is amazing, im not sure if a toddler her age could remember the placement etc of that many to be honest...
Her face is the cutest thing i have ever seen
Imagine how blown her mind will be when she figures out not all dogs talk like this. 💜💜
Her tail has such a soothing swish.
I wonder what she would do with a button for "OK". I also wonder if, given occasional lists of options, she would be able to yes/no indicate what words she would like buttons for.
I long for the day when Bunny straight up gives a speech or rehearses Hamlet by herself.
She just wants to make conversation. Lol she loves talking, doesn't she?
I agree Bunny… somedays are longer than others and you wish it was night.. only to find its 3:30 pm in the afternoon.
I have been watching Bunny for awhile and today was so amazing. You can see all the wheels in her brain move. I love it
Maybe this is why my dog is so uninterested in his buttons! You two gals are chatting it up and I’m so jelly of the cute girl talk! 🥰🐶
I swear Bunny knows what she is saying.
Of course she does
Yea she does because she’s the best girl
It's pretty obvious she does.
Some dogs (and other animals) are not nearly as facile as Bunny with the buttons and have smaller vocabularies. Bunny has grown up with these buttons and is adept with them. Her vocabulary is growing at a rate similar to a human of the same age, and she is able to ask questions, understand responses and share some of the things she is thinking about. She can also answer questions when asked. She has been frustrated when she knows the word she wants to use but doesn't have a button for it. She can communicate with nonverbals like shaking her head for yes or no.
Watch her videos. You can see she carefully thinks things out and is very precise about which buttons to use.
She Does!
I love how she stops and think
Maybe Bunny was being witty by saying it's night cause everyone was quiet like at night, and she really wanted you to talk to her.
Her communication skills are so fluid and nice.
What a sweetheart.
This is remarkable! I love watching her communicate with her family and about her environment. Truly wonderful!
Bunny Good
I really like these videos. You and your husband along with Bunny really have a chemistry. Refreshing. Crypto and I are with each other 24/7 so I know and he knows when we communicate but I still find it so amazing. I like when Bunny circles the room to first process her response. Excellent channel!!
The other dogs must think bunny is a genius 👏
WOW! That's the MOST BUTTONS I've ever seen used by a Dog to Talk!!!
Wow, time that's high level cognition.
It's more than that. She knows perfectly well it's not night.
That's why she isn't actually aware of what she's 'saying'. She presses random buttons that illicit a response from her owner. Unfortunately this is all just the 'clever Hans' effect. Though followers of Bunny will never come to terms with that.
So cute and knowing bunny for a few years is very happy
I think she was joking. She was being funny by saying it was the nighttime during the day because that's something a toddler would say to be silly. Maybe you should make a button for "Joke"?
This comment made me smile… Bunny was smiling as if she may be joking…. Awwww😭🤗
"Do dogs have a sense of humor?" Would be a great thing to look into
Hey come talk for a second, you know what? It's afternoon, haha I made you look!
It could be a joke.
I had a cat who would bop me on the back of my head when I was watching horror films. The bit that really puzzled me was how did he know what kind of film I was watching 🤔
"Talk Play" might work if they don't want to add a new button.
It might be hard to model though - how is Bunny going to know *you're* joking?
She has the best sense of humor of the talking animals. I would love to see a zoom call with Bunny, Mila, and Billi.
Bunny is so cute omg
She looks just like our sheepadoodle noelle! That face. Its like you can see the cleverness in their eyes!
I'm so proud of bunny ! Super bunny💞💞💞💞
I love her little wagging floofy tail🥺
“Come talk” - Bunny. “Shut up “- probably what my dog would say lol 😂
you sure you don't own a cat?
"Sound settle bye"
@@nickmagrick7702 she acts like a human or cat. If you give her dog chow you will get the look of death. She loves cooked food , hates water and loves to climb.
@@brendalg4 I’ll definitely get that lol 😂
@@lalayastill610 haha the polite way to say shut up. I love it
That's crazy awesome. What an exceptionally intelligent animal.
I remember my first time in English class, teacher told us, one of the common ways to start a conversation is talking about the day and weather 🐱
I think Bunny likes to hear you laugh and give hugs when she says something silly, or gets something wrong on purpose. You can tell because she kept repeating it like toddlers do when they say something funny and they repeat the funny part over and over.
That's predominantly it. She doesn't actually know what she's hitting most of the time. It's just about getting a response from her owner.
She is so smart!
When Bunny pauses to process, it always makes me giggle!!
It's all fun and games until bunny says "who. Is. Man. In. Corner."
Soooo, he is at the "small talk about the weather" level!!! 😄
That smile at the end was just amazing ❤ thank you for sharing these heart- melting clips ❤
Bunny just looks SO happy when you go over and interact with her. This isn't just teaching her language, it is literally her love language.
Love Bunny!!! Such a smart sweet pupper!!!
She is such a very precious girl!!! So sweet and brilliant!!!❤❤❤. And beautiful!!!
It's so wild seeing the evolutionary differences between Bunny's and Billie's social / conversational skills.
Maybe this is due to the fact that Billies owner works away from home and Billie is therefore not talked to all day....
Also Billi the cat started when she was 11 years old, that's a senior cat, and Bunny was kind of a toddler. It's like learning to play the piano at 60 or 70 versus starting at 3 years old.
Tell that dog good stories.❤
Time and where dad is are big on bunny’s list.
I just gotta say it. I love Bunny.
I'm just in aw over "Bunny Talk." Really happy there's a way to teach them our language. I know they communicate with each other and people like Cesar have learned their language of energy but this is amazing.
She’s making conversation. ❤
Again, your narcissism robbed this pure soul of happiness and innocence
I love Bunny's small talk 😂❤
Bunny talk!
She made a her first joke! She is becoming too powerful
Are the groupings of buttons getting convoluted? Make Bunny a digital interface maybe?
Bunny is so intelligent. Love the way she looks at you and her wagging tail. She is one happy puppy. Being able to communicate must make her happy and enhances her relationship with you and her dad.
WAS THAT BUNNY DOING SMALL TALK ABOUT THE WEATHER WITH YOU? OMG THINGS ARE P R O G R E S S I N G.
Omg, I'm so amazed at bunny and how her mom taught her how to communicate. Awesome
Great content idea.
Not for content, that's just a bonus
I just love your sweet pupper.
she has so many buttons now! i wonder how she keeps track of them all. smell, or position?
Just a mental map I suppose. Many animals are better at these and memorising stuff like that as we are because they have different thought processes going on. We're too distracted by our other thought processes. I'd say that having a photographic memory is the closest people get to this.
About the same way you memorize the buttons on your computer keyboard. I hope you don't sniff them😉😅
I love talking to my dog about my day. I dunno how much he understands but he does listen
Just practising that small talk?
“Bunny talk” is her ingenious way of expressing “just kidding”!
Ho does anyone believe any of this?
Bunny stole my heart the first time I saw her! You are amazing, too! Watching you two makes me happy!
Who actually believes this shit
Thank god someone else is sane here. Felt like a kindergarten classroom in the comment section
Bunni has better communication skills than I do!
I find this whole thing depressing. This does not seem like a happy dog.
Why doesn't it?
She doesn't understand the diference between night and afternoon. She is smart and inquisitive
It helps her against depression, she enjoys it
I love watching bunny.i believe she has learned her second language
This sounds like small talk about weather and I love it
Bunny is on small talk about the weather now! This is crazy! Love it!
Aww. She wanted have some talk about the day
This dogs intelligence should get everyone sharing space with a dog the chills
Look how happy she is, when you came to talk with her 😍
That’s so precious how you’ve taught him to communicate. I love seeing your videos of Bunny.
