    I love our local way of steaming up food. It enables us prepare a variety at once like sweet potato, cassava,yams,maize,Irish , matooke,rice. Healthy and authentic.

      We don't put any. We just steam in banana leaves and we are done.

    Uganda looks like such a beautiful country ❤️ my local language is English, so we just say "Pumpkin" but my family is mostly German, and in Deutsch we say "Kürbis" :)
    I have many Spanish speaking people from Mexico where i work. They told me in their Spanish you say "calabaza"
    Languages are so cool :)

    I think my dream trip would be to a rural village in africa somewhere. To do work with the people, learn some of the language hopefully, eat traditional foods, live a daily life like they do, experience a culture so different from where I am now. Africa is beautiful, its people are beautiful, their cultures are beautiful

      @@fatimalobi6382 only in the western countries people eat crappie food. The word "organic" is not in the lexicon of other countries.
      Foods are grown in the natural earth the way Adam and Eve received it in the garden of Eden.
      So "third world countries" foods are a lot healthier than western world pesticides food. The west would never acknowledged that, instead they spread propaganda that people are starving in Africa.

      That's taking a healthy food and making it unhealthy. That's America for you. You wouldn't find Africans born in Africa,living in Africa making pies with healthy foods. Foods are cooked and eaten in it's natural form.

    I'm from India, Assam (Assam is in the North-East part of India). ... Here in our Assamese language we called pumpkin as RONGA-LAU (means Red gourd )

    Everytime I see you making those giant leaf place mats to cook I Know your about to make something good 😋 We call them pumpkins in the U.S. and I've only ever eaten them as pies. 🥧 it's so cool how those giant leaves also serve as a lid like aluminium foil to cover the food as you cook.

    I am indian southern part of india , but I settled in France ....we called pumkin in our local language is ( poosinikaai) and also in french is called (potiron)😃 by the way i like all your vidéos 🤩✨️

    Wow, I think this is the best ways in which to steam vegetables, no loss of vitamins and essential nutrients there. We certainly don't get anything by boiling them. What this makes me realized that we waste alot of things because of technology and how prideful we all have become. Look at humbleness! It's beautiful and healthy 😍
