I love our local way of steaming up food. It enables us prepare a variety at once like sweet potato, cassava, yams, maize,Irish , matooke, rice. Healthy and authentic.
@Chim Chim Chums What is usually termed as just potatoes in the west ,we call it Irish potato to differentiate it with sweet potato since they are all potatoes.
Uganda looks like such a beautiful country ❤️ my local language is English, so we just say "Pumpkin" but my family is mostly German, and in Deutsch we say "Kürbis" :) I have many Spanish speaking people from Mexico where i work. They told me in their Spanish you say "calabaza" Languages are so cool :)
I'm Jamaican🇯🇲 but some of my ancestors are from Germany by my dad's side. I would love to learn the German language. My native language is English but I also speak Spanish
I would love for you to ship a case to me here in New York City! LOL I would love to taste it. Right now the Chinese market has the sweetest pumpkin I've ever taste ever.
I think my dream trip would be to a rural village in africa somewhere. To do work with the people, learn some of the language hopefully, eat traditional foods, live a daily life like they do, experience a culture so different from where I am now. Africa is beautiful, its people are beautiful, their cultures are beautiful
One of the most beautiful things I ever seen is Angela’s hands when she’s washing fruit or vegetables? It’s utterly captivating, Her hands are so loving graceful and kind.
Looks absolutely delectable! I find it interesting that you should not use salt 😊 Also, your precision at cutting those banana leaves is quite remarkable. What a skill. And the end result, an absolute work of art. ❤
@@fatimalobi6382 only in the western countries people eat crappie food. The word "organic" is not in the lexicon of other countries. Foods are grown in the natural earth the way Adam and Eve received it in the garden of Eden. So "third world countries" foods are a lot healthier than western world pesticides food. The west would never acknowledged that, instead they spread propaganda that people are starving in Africa.
That looks very good and I love learning about the African traditional food videos that you make! You're so awesome and truly a Beautiful African Queen!!! Much love from USA and we make lots of pumpkin pie!!!
That's taking a healthy food and making it unhealthy. That's America for you. You wouldn't find Africans born in Africa, living in Africa making pies with healthy foods. Foods are cooked and eaten in it's natural form.

Wow, I think this is the best ways in which to steam vegetables, no loss of vitamins and essential nutrients there. We certainly don't get anything by boiling them. What this makes me realized that we waste alot of things because of technology and how prideful we all have become. Look at humbleness! It's beautiful and healthy 😍
