Must say that you are at the forefront of beaver engineering and with that said, I have seen many others try and attempt your techniques with little to no success. As a fan of the building game genre and of your playthroughs I enjoy learning your masterful techniques. This one in particular which I refer to "Skye's Mechanically Operational Optimized Terraformed Hydrodynamics" or "S.M.O.O.T.H" for short. Afterall nothing better than smooth beaver control of one's bad tides.
This might just be the biggest most successful water wheel implementation the Skye has completed - AND - in a single episode. (thankfully 😝 ). Looking forward to what all that power will be used to create!
The Dura-log power system is the greatest power generator known to beaver-kind. Built in the 25th cycle, this great wonder of beaver engineering has turned a once feared hooman disaster into a sustainable long-term power source. This 80,000-ish HP wonder will benefit all of beaver-kind for cycles to come.
I really like this project. A great idea! One small issue: if you use more than ~ 77500 power, it will logistically (/sigmoid) die off to some limit value of ~ 25000 really quickly. One could take (700*16)/(77000/64) ~ 9.3 wheels, so, for example, the first left most 3 rows of water wheels as a separate network to guarantee almost full efficiency, and accept the ~ 62500 power as the output, which will always be there even if there is a literal brownout. :D
This is a great idea for realism and real world dynamic systems. But its probably not necessary given how unlikely is its that anyone would ever get that high in power use without specifically trying to maximize power usage.
I don't know! Very impressive and beautiful power and design work! I'm always so impressed that Skye can think of and plan theses amazing mega projects that are always so cool, thanks for the video!
The waterwheels can take about 17.1 max / tile of flow rate. With as flow rate of 10 on each tile you should get about 3,000 hp / wheel that would give you approx. 192,000 horsepower with the same amount of wheels. :)
I truly don’t know! I mean just look at those pumps, and the probability of spilling is (at least at said pumps) very minimal, because it’s all flowing into itself. A secure moat would be not bad anyway, just to make sure to not pollute the poor beavers! :D
Truly a masterpiece. I don't know if I've ever seen a more impressive system! I can't wait to see what you do with the rest of the map and how you decide to use all that power!
I wish i had skyes enthusiasm, vision and patience for these kinds of projects on timberborn. it would make the game so much more enjoyable. but no one tell skye that 4 of his beavers are contaminated and will require de-contamination, or wait for them to snuff it. (i dont actually know how long decontam takes as the only beaver i had infected was old and died of old age before they were decontaminated)
I'm genuinely impressed that when you said you were going to 'turbo charge' the power system you actually went and used the principles that tubos work on.
please build more multi-level buildings, put some factories on top of others, make a couple of skyscrapers, you have highly technologically advanced beavers, they simply have to live and work looking at everything from top to bottom
Great series Skye, next mega project should be monty python lumberjack themed forestry build, plenty of cheeky jokes to be had, whatever you choose I will be watching, thanks for the content and don’t forget the shrubbery and nice picket fence!
I don't know but I think after all their hard work on getting you all that power you should now make them all beds to sleep in, if not for the beaver for the puppies and kittens .....
What the hell sky! Awsome! As an experienced engineer i would say you maxed the performance without sacrificing the Durability. Simply spot on. Period. Best so far by a beever and a half!🎉
I swear, has anyone made like, infographs about these water tricks so I can download them for future reference? Like jesus, this is nuts. Only one I know to heart is how water slows down when dropping more than 1 height worth, which allows you to make massive reservoirs that dont drain too fast even though they have a hole in them as a mega 'floodgate'.
Skye you're genius... I've done so many playthrough of Timberborn, every time I terraform half the map in a gigantic canal... that produces not even half of that power engine you have going
They had to see it coming. They already had to stop the bad water sources from producing water in the dry season to stop people from basically doing this. So I don't see how they wouldn't expect someone doing this.
One thing you should do and honestly should have a long time ago, is retire the breeding pods and replace them with the new upgraded ones. Then you don't have to wait for them to grow up anymore. Love the series!
Great work, you really do some amazing megaprojects. And you show it off in enough detail that we can learn from them too. I expect that we'll see lots of Skye Generators once update 5 hits.
You get perfect ratios on bot factories if you have three part factories (one of each type) supplying two bot assemblers. You have just one bot assembler, so you should add another one. you can already support it. This will result in you producing 1.5 bots per day (before accounting for work-speed bonuses). If you produce 1.5 bots per day, and a bot lives for 70 days, then you will have 105 bots at any one time. Edit: I paused the video, made this comment, and not 10 seconds later, he's noticed it.
Be careful about your power draw going forwards, if at any point you try to draw more power than you're producing then the pump output will begin to diminish and you'll enter a death spiral. Never go above 90% or so load of your total output value and you'll be fine forever. In prior experience though, you can sometimes get a dip with this sort of system when you first load a save and you have to give it a few minutes to restabilise so keep an eye if you get close to capacity. Otherwise sweet build, really good job dudeski!
"I don't know" how you are going to top this one...all those beavers are going to love their new Pump Enhanced Notched Injection Stream, unofficial working project title
im not good at timberborn but i can see that this power plant does have a disadvantage when you run out of power somehow for even a minute the pumps will have less efficency witch will couse even bigger power leak and so on untill pumps are almost running at 0% so make sure you build at least a small power storage in case of that type of incident :)
Keep up the awesome work. You are the legend engineer beaver. Lol. Its not just the amazing engineering you do it's also the great running commentary you. They really are fun to watch. I watched the entire previous series you done. Go go power beavers. Lol
FULL PLAYLIST for this series - ruclips.net/video/IhBrQOXZDQg/видео.html&ab_channel=SkyeStorme
It’s worth it to watch
and you did not even ruin your water or food supplies for this!
we are so proud of your progress!
I don't know
I DON'T KNOW
i don't know
Skye: I can delete all this gear production. I don't need it.
Skye 20 minutes later: We're going to have to step up gear production.
Alright skye, now... DOUBLE IT 😂

Hats off on the fantastic double entandre. 👏
If you drop the layers until the platforms are hidden you can bulk delete paths.
Woooow thanks mate! That is some genius level trick right there!
Skye just casually ignoring that his beavers are now contaminated.
Yeah, stinky wet beaver is no good for anyone
@@Mikez87 Just hose them off, and they will be as good as new. There is nothing like freshly cleaned beave!
That’s Industrial Revolution for you
This might just be the biggest most successful water wheel implementation the Skye has completed - AND - in a single episode. (thankfully 😝 ). Looking forward to what all that power will be used to create!
This thing took 3 episode as actually
I don't know ... about the 4 contaminated beavers at the end of the episode.
I don't know.....
I don't know, you know
I don’t know, you don’t know, what I don’t know.
You know nothing John snow
If you don't know, and I don't know. Who the hell knows then?
Nobody has told me what nobody knows
Oh No! Some lemonheads got contaminated in the last few minutes. Are they gonna survive?
Great engineering Skye. Bravo!
When?
I don't know.... POWER!
POWER!

I don't know Skye, your nuclear power plant is very impressive
i would say fussion, but sure
I don't know, Skye. You've seem to have outdone yourself this time. 😁
This is the most impressive beaver engineering feat I've ever seen.
"I don't know!" -Picture 😁 (I'm dam impressed Skye!)
I love these new Ironteeth changes, They really made them feel more unique to play. Hyped to see where this build goes!
"Perpetual motion is impossible!"
Skye: "Hold my beer"
I really like this project. A great idea!

It is literally impossoble tu use 77k hp on a map of timberborn.... anyway nice idea
This is a great idea for realism and real world dynamic systems. But its probably not necessary given how unlikely is its that anyone would ever get that high in power use without specifically trying to maximize power usage.
"I don't know" what you are going to do with all that power! Looking forward to seeing your next mega project.
I don't know how I still keep being impressed by your engineering ingenuity after all your past feats, but I am. This is a masterpiece.
Pretty impressive power plant Skye. Love it. And now .... double it 😝
I don't know! Very impressive and beautiful power and design work! I'm always so impressed that Skye can think of and plan theses amazing mega projects that are always so cool, thanks for the video!
Crazy how good you are at understanding this game!
That is really impressive. I bet it would look cool if you put in little platforms with lanterns on top of them to light it up.
If only those lanterns and braziers gave off actual light effects like campfires. It would be SO pretty! ;A;
This man doesn't stop!
I am so invested in this😂

Nature abhors a vacuum, but delights in a perpetual motion machine.
We need another "Double it" episode, at least we will get 160k hp
I am mega impressed of this power project, Skye!
I truly don’t know!

Skye your engineering marvel deserves to be permanently in the light truly incredible work my dude
skye. i know i said double it, but you outdid yourself with this one. well done 👏👏
This is not gameplay, this is engineering of high calibre. Loved it and very much impressed Skye. Cheers.
Skye why haven't we have we gannot a upload for 2 today's
Is everything ok? I love your videos and it’s a bit more than normal for your regular uploads
another concerned netizen, hope he's just too busy for us
I hope he doesn’t go back in hiatus. Keep making these awesome vids @skye
I don't know of any youtuber that can do this in Timberborn. And in 1 episode! Lol
Cannot wait for more!
Truly a masterpiece. I don't know if I've ever seen a more impressive system! I can't wait to see what you do with the rest of the map and how you decide to use all that power!

The moment I heard turbo, I had a feeling what you were up to and it worked beyond expectations! I just don't know:)
lesgo, can't wait for bots and inf power and all the modern (ish) stuff
Great series Skye, next mega project should be monty python lumberjack themed forestry build, plenty of cheeky jokes to be had, whatever you choose I will be watching, thanks for the content and don’t forget the shrubbery and nice picket fence!
I don't know!!! it is a great feat. Your knowledge of water manipulation is fun to watch. Thanks for the videos.
More braziers.
I don't know! (For real tho this is EPIC TO SAY THE LEAST)
The most genius thing I’ve seen in timberborn
I don't know... Make a water bridge. Make bevers walk/live underneath it. Maybe put a smelters there.
skye you can bulk delete paths .... how can the skye bags of tricks be so full but not know this... :)) ... that's why we love this series
It gets more interesting when you invent your own laws of physics - Ol' Kazko
I don't know 😂, It's always nice to discover your crazy creative projects.
I don't know... watched from episode 1 (while working), and I don't know, it's epic!
I don’t know.
But seriously, great job Skye 👍
"I don't know..." Double it Skye
Maybe the other bad water source
Yeah this definitely deserves a comment, job well done 👍🏼
Sky Storme breaking the laws of physics.
Removing 7000 Hp from the system and adding 70000 back in.
I don't knooooow?
I've not played this game for a while but that is extremely impressive
Thank you :)
Long rows of parallel wheels fueling your industry with power. Its the POWER TRAIN
congratulations on a beaver powered perpetual motion machine
From the description of the Gravity Battery;
_”Here’s what you can do when you invent your own laws of physics.”_
The level of dedication I'm this is truly awesome to see!
well, I don't know :o) ...but it's an insane construction and powersource! Awesome...
You have built the lazy river from Disney World in hell. It's beautiful! Reminds me of home.
I don't know but I think after all their hard work on getting you all that power you should now make them all beds to sleep in, if not for the beaver for the puppies and kittens .....
So good i went and bought the game. Also its good to see you back Skye. I don't know Picture.
awesome, well done. a master of engineering.
top job, Skye! give yourself a pat on the back

I'm not sure the devs intended this, Genius work Skye the highlight of my evenings! - try the trains mod to really spice things up
They had to see it coming. They already had to stop the bad water sources from producing water in the dry season to stop people from basically doing this. So I don't see how they wouldn't expect someone doing this.
@@hanzzel6086 I mean the multiples of flow via the tile edges & the re-importation of water, that's where the genius lies
@dancurrey3838 Ahh, yeah, I agree with that.
And to think we debated whether or not to have Skye do mega projects 😂. Absolutely brilliant
I don't know but, it's F'ing AWESOME!!!!
I don't know, those braziers would look great there

This was good! Interesting development here.
Another amazing contraption that surprisingly works, very well done !
idk, comment, that will do pig!
TImberborn and FrostPunk series have been my favorite games Skye has done!
Power!!! And it’s ever lasting as well and you got some beavers this season!
"I don't know" how you are going to top this one...all those beavers are going to love their new Pump Enhanced Notched Injection Stream, unofficial working project title
I don't know. But, I'm impressed with learning that this needs to be optimized to get such results. Awesome.

That is a pretty epic project. I think you need to decorate with a bunch of statues to commemorate this victory
This was fantastic
i don't know but puppies and kittens would be cute helping out the little beavers
I have no word amazing
