Thanks for the feedback. I wanted to restart my YT "career" with a higher quality VOD instead of just a normal stream and it has had a great reception so far. Thanks again!
I'm putting storage buildings inside the tower, not platforms. So the tower store both energy and materials. Without storage, it is better to have a 'wall' design, simply 2 tiles width, and weights hanging on both sides. Stairs and power transmission inside.
The bases of the gravity batteries share power so you can connect the batteries with more batteries instead of the power shafts if you plan the stairs better, then build the batteries furthest from the stairs first letting each successive battery block & connect to what is behind it. ( & Batteries can go back to back also, so a rectangle of platforms [2x___] can work to support 2 rows back to back. ) ... Just imagine a battery bank so long you need a temporary district at the top of map to build the thing 😁
I was just trying to find a tutorial on the gravity battery to see if I could transport power through my rowhouse apartments. Looks like I've found the perfect place to put my batteries! really tall apartment complex that doubles as gravity battery tower it is, nice.
Haha it is a dual purpose tower. Talk about some high quality real estate. 🤓 I didn't dam mine off as I don't use it for actual housing; so just remember that if you chose to build one as well. 👍
I appreciate it. If you have any feedback to make it better, please don't hesitate to let me know. I'm still trying to figure out what is best for the viewer.
You are absolutely correct. I didn't realize that I'm actually adding one to each side/corner meaning it isn't going up by 1 to a 10x10, but it's actually going up by 2 to 11x11. Thanks for letting me know for future reference. Thanks for watching the video as well!
Just a thought ( I don't expect anyone to constantly rebuild) : how does the FREE energy of a freshly made energy battery compare to the energy needed to replace the material lost (update 3) during demolition & rebuilding of a battery ? ( Math problem) 1 energy battery = [list of materials] subtract what you get back from demolition ==> [list of what needs replacement] then look at the factories that make those items & how long & energy per item time
99% of your problems with them getting stuck could all be solved if the Dev's would just enable us to build a ladder instead of stairs. Also, if they would add the ability to build cogs straight up and down. Simple.
Maybe you'll see this, maybe not. I know that on paper growing only the bigger trees sounds good, but diversifying is better. Yes. Grow a lot of oaks. But if you plant and harvest all of them, you will have a constant flow of logs for your engines. It's not just about stockpiling for building, but you need fuel. That's what the birches are for. Don't think about maximum yield. Think about maintaining X amount. You should never have to pause your engines. With irrigation, and biodiversity, you can maintain a positive income of logs indefinitely.
I THOUGHT YOU WILL BUILD FROM THE BOTTOM OF THE MAP, BY EXPLODING THE GROUND LEVEL TO BE THE LOWEST IT CAN BE, AND FOCUS ALL THE BATTERIES IN THAT HOLE , INTERESTED TO SEE A VIDEO LIKE THAT, WHAT IS THE MAXIMUM , MAXIMUM , A GRAVITY BATTERY CAN STORE IN TIMBERBORN.
Hey Alexandru, these batteries are built at maximum. The descent of the battery starts at the highest point I can build out and goes to the lowest point of the map (using dynamite), unhindered. So they are at maximum power.
That sponsor part melted my heart
Thanks Nikko! Best sponsor in the world! ❤️
Instant sub!
Yeah ok, you get my thumbs up for the sponsor. GL to you!
Thanks James! I'm hoping to get back into posting to YT again after a slight 18 month Timberborn hiatus. :)
honestly didnt realize you were a small youtuber until the sponsor part, love the video and your energy. Keep up the great work!
Thanks Callum! Small or big I will always have my amazing sponsor. 😉🤓❤️
The quality of your video is so good that i was surprised by your sub count

Haha I like it! Surround the whole map with back to back Batteries. 🤓
Wow, that was a lot of horse power.
I like your editing, keep it up.
liked and subbed.
Appreciate it Tony. Thanks for the feedback and the Like and Sub!
Well edited, fascinating content! You are well on your way, sir!
I appreciate the kind words Netu!

Thought you had at least a few thousand subs with the quality of your video... subbed and liked just for the algorithm ;)
Thanks for the compliment and the like and sub. Means a lot!
I can't wait to see you hit 100k I will be there I'm in for the long journey
Thanks Christian! It will be a fun journey and we can take it together. 🤗🤓
Adding a row of blocks all around a 9x9 grid gets you to a 11x11 grid, not a 10x10 grid as you said in the video.

Sounds like a problem for a CPA...or an AI. 🤓
Glad to see a fellow CPA succeeding at Timberborn!
I don't know if I would say, "succeeding". 😉 What state are you licensed in Anthony? I'm licensed in Washington and Oregon.
@@TGCPA You have good sponsorship, so there's success in that. I'm licensed in Virginia.
@@AnthonyLatta-zl6sc That's true. The best sponsorship deal. That's awesome, I hope you have a great tax season. Get some good rest now! 🤓

Haha oh the ladder solution. But that'd be too easy for us!
Or just allow stairs to be entered from the sides.
best sponsor
The only sponsor a channel could ever need!
Great video!
Thanks Eric! I appreciate the positive comment. 🙌🏽
For only 333 subscribers, you have great production value
I appreciate that Jay. Trying to maintain quality over quantity and reduce the time to more entertaining bits to retain the viewers attention. 🤓

Do you have a formula for logs to engine ratio that you like to use?
@TGCPA nope. I just play to have fun, and wing it.
That’s a pretty great way to play! 🤓
What map are you playing on?
I can't remember off the top of my head.

@@TGCPA Ah, the level was that low to begin with , also, does water affect the batteries descent or not?
The level was pretty low, I believe it only took about 2-4 dynamites to reach the ultimate bottom. No, water doesn't impact the descent at this time.
I hope you're still married!
I am luckily enough. :) Cheers!
Boring game. I would suggest finding something else.. Beaver's ?? lol may as well call it Minecraft..
Have you tried the game Clayton? Or are you making an assumption based off of my video?
