Sanjay, I am a single 46yo father raising my 2 sons after their mother passed away in early 2013 from cancer. Cooking all meals for my family, I often look on YT for new tasty & healthy recipes from all parts of the world, but as I am Indian I do gravitate to Indian cuisine. For health reasons I don't often deep fry at home but we love samosa, pakoras & other dishes which are tradionally fried. Do you think these things would work in the airfryer? My boys & I love to watch the passion, expertise & common sense with which you cook & you make us smile & laugh which is important in life. We appreciate what you do for us. Thanks brother!
You're MUCH better off air-frying than you are deep-frying by leaps and bounds! - Not only is 'frying oil' unhealthy, but, when heated it creates carcinogens, precursors to Cancer. That said, "air-frying" unhealthy, carb rich, foods will still lead to obesity in sedentary people.
@@orasis Very sensible advice, dear Orasis. Very well-timed n succinctly put. Gud for everyone, not just the sedentary amongst us! 👏
I am using the Philips Air Fryer and all recipes from VahChef. Simply awesome. Thanks a lot. Excellent narration.
Thank you. I will definitely try this out.

Chef what is the cheese u use ,does the cheese while heating melt nd come to a sticky type.
Anu You can use any cheese of your choice.
O great. Getting a reply for the first time from a popular chef like u ☺️☺️☺️.most of the people had written u ,Philips paying u nd ur endorsing Philips ,I use to think how to learn about new product ,only if chef like u teach us various recipes using new gadgets v can learn sitting at home ,so I don't mind if ur paid r not ...v r learning without paying ....nd really all ur Philips recipes turn out to b very Gud except very few .
VahChef can we use mozerlla ..I don't think so bcz if we use mozerlla n blend it will be sticky..thnx rep
What cheese do you recommend? Mozzarella?
any melting mild cheese
Chef Thumma, I have been a big fan of you and tried many of your “funtastic” recipes successfully but this Phillips crap is so HARD to SWALLOW. I understand the need to make money, but you are trying to shove it down the throat every 20 seconds. Ease-off ….. We got the point.
I think the poor guy is forced to say it a bunch of times in each video. You should have never agreed to that Phillips BS. Bad contract you got there.
I agree, I don't mind the advertising - but - he went a little too 'weird' when he started breaking out the recipe books from Phillips. Lol.
Sort of cheapened the product imo.
Orasis Foto
labailavideo maybe he has no choice....i know its irritating to see him endorsing a product, but man's gotta make living....he can't make money just by uploading videos right?
I'd like to see something that's spicy, and doesn't have dairy products. We have a lot of Indian grocery stores here in Austin, really easy to find ingredients.
CowTaurog try his chicken 65. It's pretty spicy and the egg is optional I think.
Mr chef, can you please tell about the model of this airfryer
Air Fryer 1.4L HD9220 Black
Here it is,i also have the same one 👍🏻
Jaafffa sounds entra
We tried to find this fryer in market no one have this I don't know why u showing us to use it
u can find it on e-commerce websites like flipkart n snapdeal...
What's funny is, I'll watch super chef cooking on Phillips and then go and cook on Havells
Everyone gravitates to one's own tools and gadgets!! Blessed cooking to you!
He is advertising abt that Philips fryer... anyhow nice recipe...
Chef you have a right to get paid and to develop your own brand but this heavy advertising is diluting your own brand. I really wish you well but hopefully you'll keep your OWN brand alive despite peddling Philips' wares.
Waf! Chickin is just waffy
How much did Phillips pay you
He has no right to get paid?
What's your point, sir? This YT video is about making this recipe in a Philips air fryer. You are getting the recipe. Period. Philips is the sponsor of the video. So one gets to hear some about the product. Just follow the recipe if you want to see what this otem and the difference in cooking method is about. Period
Air frying is just grill mode in an oven...
Nice recipe. Where's the cardamom and ginger garlic? That is usually the part of Murg Malai as well. The video here has become more like a product and brand endorsement.
Don't mind u using the air fryer but stop editing in the little branding parts like when u say "basket is so easy to clean" it's in every air fryer video and it's the same
Max Landsborough Oh shut your pie hole. It's for the sponsor. And it doesn't affect the actual recipe. So calm your tits.
Chef lot of my vegetarian friends r interested to buy this airfryer, but they all feel for non veg it's useful ,it would b better if u teach some veg recipe
Anu Recipes available on my website vahrehvah.com. Thanks.
Can v make bread in air fryer.chef for us I feel Philips air fryer is the best gadget so far I had bought,I bought this wen it was introduced ,don't know much recipes at that time used der recipe book ,but did find useful den, only wen u came out of recipes for air fryer ,really it was so useful for us ( Indian taste buds) .so want to thank u for all ur efforts nd ur videos.as v r a small family whenever v buy a loaf of bread half the bread goes to dustbin ,would b happy to learn bread making in an easy way .
??!!!
Dear Sanjay I have been following your shows from very initial days when they were full of simplicity, skills, and above all honesty. Now that simplicity, skills and honesty seems to be dying. Sorry to say but due to commercial obligations we have lost our Sanjay Vah chef and now the show starts with Philips super chef. Your whole show is now about that stupid highly priced slow working air fryer not about food actually you loved to present earlier and I use to say to my friends that see this guy and his talent both in cooking and it's presentation. I follow many western cookery shows too where if they is a sponsor they simply mention it in starting and continue with there shows as usual, not make their show as per there sponsor. Please wake up Sanjay, don't be a servant of these sponsors and be a master like before. You may experience financial issues but remember original and master live till last.
V apt and timely advice, given with positive criticism dripping with sincerity! (Aah! Cooking shows affecting our language! 😅) I fully agree.....Even your masters (i.e., Philips) should wake up to this issue: it is actually bad marketing; subtlety in marketing gets better and longer lasting results. (Added later: It is possible that it is NOT sponsored video. It is Philips' own marketing / advertising effort. Many chefs etc. work as brand ambassadors, both full time n otherwise.)
I wouldn't fry the chicken in the first place. Grilled or BBQ
It would have been good if the your focused was on explaining the recipe rather then Philips product demonstration. I understand that u need sponsorships but not at this way!
French fries
Rush an bid buff
how could a chef openly market for an electrical appliances company. your independent opinion for food is shunned in such marketed cases.
zafar iqbal
bcoz the show is sponsored by philips
This is a badly produced infomercial for Philips products. I own one already and its really great but this kind of classless promotion made me tune out quickly. I promise you I wouldn't buy it if I had seen this first. This guy was watchable when he didn't peddle products. It's sad to see this evolution.
This is sad :(
Well its very good machine but too small. It must be very time consuming to make dinner for whole family. Some people even complain the taste isn't the same.
this is sad, vah chef sold out :(
Um, what? All chefs use equipment including mechanical equipment. How did he sell out? (besides that retarded cook-book thing) Air frying?
WHAT CHEESE IS THAT?......TELLING CHEESE..CHEESE....CHEESE....BUT ,DID NOT SAY WHAT THAT IS...VERY BAD
Sarath Ajay .. cream cheese is the best option for malai kababs per my experience.. but if it's not available mozzarella is good option.
disappointed to see you being artificial Sanjay . Don't go commercial please it's so fake the way you are advertising. My family loves your videos and recipes but now it's not fun anymore
Not interesting anymore.
Stop this commercialisation bullshit
Can I use readymade cream cheese?
Taiba Shaikh .. cream cheese is the best option..that way you can skip both cream and yogurt!!
It would have been good if the your focused was on explaining the recipe rather then Philips product demonstration. I understand that u need sponsorships but not at this way!
