You're saying we shouldn't compare these tweaked versions to the original. Now, if you never compared today's cell phones to the original cell phones, I would be waiting in a chair for my doctor to call me back while playing 2048 and listening to music on a little device and you would be walking around with a brick in your pocket. So please, while I agree we need to owe credit to Lorde for this amazing song, we need to not forget the beauty of compare and contrast. It's a method that has been around for as long as it has for a reason.
