Thank you Josh! I always enjoy your interviews. Can’t wait to hear more from Tom with this one👍✌️
we want more TOM/LOKI💖💖💗💗💘💘
josh you failure you forgot to mention that season 3 was confirmed
Much love champ. Baruch Hashem!
You were always one of the most respectful people to interview Tom and I imagine became friends, rightly so. I liked that you were never nosy or weirdly too personal like many people can be around him. I have watched both you and Tom grow in your professions. It is one of my many perks of getting older, watching the young folks grow and succeed. I was anticipating that you would get a chance to catch up with each other again. I never could tolerate the gossipers and dirt diggers of well known people.
I could watch Tom Hiddleston talk for hours.
if he had a podcast I would be the fry meme- TAKE MY MONEY!
Me too. It's so interesting man and actor ❤
Yes!!! 💚🖤💚🖤
Agreed. Shame Disney had to ruin his character, but Tom is still a boss.
Ha has an audio book you can search 6hours long
Lets admit it, LOKI is the best thing happened to MCU since very beginning.
That’s Ironman
There would’ve been no Avengers if it weren’t for Loki 🤷♀️
@@jurgenmathiae6682I even think Loki is right now a bit on top, just a bit
@@Alvaro-rq8sn 😀
The finale was handled beautifully, truly. 10/10. Like Tom said himself, "a journey of a thousand miles". Just think on the character Loki was at the moment of introduction and compare it to what he grew to be in the sixth episode of season 2.
Thank you Josh for 1 asking Tom about his personal life and 2 immediately moving off the subject the second he got uncomfortable
That’s a true friend right there!
💯
Professional and respectful. Two thumbs up.
where did he get uncomfortable. sry english isnt my first language so sometimes i dont notice how people are acting
@@feliney towards the end of his little thing about Zawe and his new family life he just kinda trails off and with Tom being a very private person you can kinda see he wanted to change the subject and Josh just does it quiet quickly I might add
I think he was trying to find words to answer the question without giving too much details.
I actually LOVE how private Tom is. Too many people share far too much information. Respect for protecting what’s important to HIM.
Indeed. He was *FAAAR* too scrutinised for a lot of his acting career! 😞
The best thing about Tom Hiddleston as Loki is that he knows what he is doing he knows every single thing about his character not like other (mostly) actors in the MCU who don't even know what they are doing
He actually gives everything for his character .. and that's why I love him absolutely ❤
Guapo ❤
I was so worried that we’re gonna miss out on this amazing interview because of the strike. Thank god we didn’t. What an absolute gem in the interview world.
Such a beautiful interview Josh! Loved it. Tom Hiddleston is an absolute gem! ❤
Hi Canadian Lad!! Love your videos❤❤❤
Hey lad I love your work and break downs. Love from India ❤
Indeed! I was so worried we were gonna miss out on this gem due to the strike. So glad we didn’t!
He’s such an incredible guy. The respect he has for his partner, the way he speaks about her, the investment he has in his character, the thoughtfulness. This is my favorite interview of his for this season by far.
“It’s not nothing”. Tom’s Loki has literally changed my life I’m not being dramatic. 😭
I agree.
Me too!
What sets Tom apart - aside from being an exceptional actor technically - are his leadership qualities. He can be the star player (Loki, Night Manager), the main antagonist (Avengers), or a great player on a championship team (Infinity War, Endgame, Ragnarok, Midnight in Paris). Wish him all the best in his future endeavours!
Because he gives credit to his team and he is humble. Class!
It is so satisfying to hear that Tom cares as deeply for Loki as Loki’s fans do. If this is the end for Loki, it was a fantastic run and a high tribute. I am grateful to Tom for what he created, within the context of the Marvel character.
It’s telling how a person who speaks so slowly and carefully can capture everyone so completely in a world where we’re told that people have short attention spans. It’s an excuse. We can definitely slow down and listen when properly motivated.
Agreed. His whole demeanor is just so captivating that I could listen to him talk for hours without getting bored or distracted. I watched this whole interview without touching my phone which is really big for me because I easily get bored and distracted.
This same thing is true for his acting as well. Over the 1 week I spent watching Loki I did not get distracted at all during the episodes. Most of the time I didn't even notice how
much time had passed until the end credits started rolling at the end of each episode that's how much his and the other actors acting and chemistry pulled me in.
I genuinely don't remember the last time I got so engrossed in a series/movie that I could not think of anything else for days.
He’s *ALWAYS* got something interesting to say!
Tom Hiddleston is one of few MCU actors who truly cares about his character and the MCU as a whole. A man of his craft and he delivers on every note in every scene he’s in as Loki. Loved seeing this journey of Loki and if we were to never see him again, I’d be truly satisfied. Thank you Tom. 💚
Tom REALLY wrapped it up when he said, "It's not nothing, it is something." I would say it's FAR more than something, it is EVERTHING! And there is a very human nature/spiritual reason that SO many are so drawn to and adore Loki.
I would've loved to hear him elaborate on this, and what it meant and means to him. I take it as "there is meaning in this, but what it means is up to you to discover for yourself."
@@JSu-here Well, this story is FAR from over! EVERYTHING is connected, and I don't just mean in "The Marvel Universe". It's ALL a metaphor for everything in the true Cosmos. You'll see what I mean soon. #NoSpoilers
It's true what you've said.. In the beginning when we were introduced to Loki I instantly took a liking to him bcz I related to him so much and the way he was so moved and confused in Thor 1 was rlly like relatable to me. And that is why I think ppl rlly adore him
I really resonate with there being a spiritual reason why people are drawn to Loki. I keep watching it over and over because it brings me so much inspiration.
@@NavnitDosanjh Yeah! Well of course, we all have "good" and "bad" aspects of ourselves. Thats why working on urself spiritually is accepting ALL of urself. Unconditionally loving yourself
I LOVE when interviewers give him a chance to give his literary analysis. He always gives such an interesting perspective. It really emphasizes how much thought he puts into his roles.
I hope he feels proud of this journey. Loki's development over 10 years has been incredible! An exception in Marvel movies. The theatrical tone he gave the character is irreplaceable. The arc is complete and the story has been spoken! Loki became above any other story you wanted to tell...
"The Night Manager" was so obviously good and successful artistically, I never understood why more seasons didn't come our way. It's really wonderful to decipher the metaphors, and see that more is coming!
The Night Manager, 6 part series was the entire book, Night Manager by author John LaCarre. They can create something in addition to this if the author's sons, wish it. Sadly, the author has passed away, (although he did a great cameo in the series). If it's meant to be, it would be a fantastic creation .
Night Manager was excellent and perfectly cast and beautifully filmed and directed. It was Hugh Laurie's dream come to life to get the book on film, and to star in it. By the time it was made he was too old to play Jonathan Pine, but was perfect as Dickie Roper.
@@anitapeludat256 Thanks for all the info and your insights. I didn't realize it was a one-off book to begin with. Maybe best left alone then?
@@musicmann1967
John LaCarre wrote several books. You may know, Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy. It's a movie also.
Jonathan Pine is such an excellent character, that's who Mr. Laurie always wanted to play
And Tom Hiddleston did such an excellent job as Pine. I think perhaps his sons could extend that character line, if they knew Their father would be OK. If it was well written, I could see a continuing story line for Pine esp. Considering how the Night Manger ended. It would have to be as excellent and well cast and directed though to truly honor LaCarre.
@@anitapeludat256 I know of LaCarre, but haven't read him. I have seen "Tinker Tailor.." and quite liked it. I'd love to see more of Pine (Hiddleston in particular) in a show, if the writing was as good as the first series. ☺
@@musicmann1967
Yes, that role seemed to suit Tom Hiddleston to a 'T'. He has said he really enjoys happier characters and evolution of characters . However, I think he does serious characters very well. One of my very favorite movies is Tom Hiddlestons portayal of Hank Williams and singing in "I saw the light". I grew up listening to Hank and all the older country, father from Alabama, we grew up in Motown. Best era for music as the soundtrack to our lives, 50s, 60s 70s. Glenn Fry graduated from our high school, Bob Seger played the high school dances when my oldest sister was there.
I love how Tom Hiddleston make Loki's character arc sound like poetry. Loki is now one of my favourite MCU characters.
This wasn't even an interview. This was just two friends hanging out
I want to see him and Chris together soon. Especially before he gets too sick! 🥺
23:10 I love that Tom is so proud of Zawe but also doesn't want to take the spotlight from her about her own achievements!!
I love how he talks about his partner, being proud of her but not wanting to talk over her :)
They better not say goodbye to Loki without giving us Thor and Loki moment together one last time 😭
Also his eyes are so beautiful and so is his voice
His face used to be as well. 😢
I like that he doesn’t see his MCU role as some empty product like Martin Scorsese puts it. He’s proof that actors can make these comic characters work on film & tv
Tom is so incredible at playing loki, his character would not be the spectacle he is without his incredible performance and such great dedication having made the best character there is in the mcu for me. The show especially the finale is so beautiful and incredible everyone does the best job and the finale was the most beautifully heartbreaking ending and the perfect way to close this chapter of loki once again tom is beyond amazing and thank you for playing such an amazing character for so long and hopefully more years to come. Once agian Loki is hands down my favourite show and it is such a masterpiece. Also this is such a great interview love Tom and Josh's friendship and Tom as always is so well spoken, he's just the best absolutely love him
Here before this blows up.
Tom Hiddleston is an amazing actor and producer! I’m so happy that he was there in my childhood, for 14 whole years. I’m happy that he was in so many movies, that he has his own TV series. I hope that this is not the end of Loki and Tom’s story. I’m proud of you Tom…❤
Can you explain please
Well he didn't said that he's done with Loki. Now it's a Kevin Feigie desision if they would need him to come back. But if this is really the end of Loki I'm done with Marvel movies. New characters (except Mobius) are so terrible 👎
@@lilokiola9525i mean Tom said in an interview with Jimmy Fallon that his 14 years in Marvel is done. He announced that he is leaving.

@@Chaos7543
@@amiiaeNo, he's not. Watch another Tom's interview in Phase Zero. He cleary said that it's unwise that he's really leaving MCU. He's just feel that this is may be the end of Loki, but also he may be back in the future if only Kevin Feige will still need him. Kang Dynasty or Secret Wars probably
This man is so loved
*“You’re so loved!”* - Lily James Potter
I love him so much, a true artist. It’s so nice to actually get a full conversation after so long.
Tom Hiddleston is DEEP.
The way he said, "...as a team we brought it full circle" so uncontrived and genuinely humble. He is not a 'dude' he is a man 🫡
I could listen to Tom talk for hours and hours. That velvety voice, eloquence, and more! Eeep!
I can listen to this man explain anything…I opened this bag of chips…YES I’M LISTENING TOM!!!
In the end i think Tom getting Loki instead of Thor was a blessing. Lokis story was the best in the MCU!
I'm truly grateful that we got to watch this man shine and give out one of the best performances ever, so much talent, humbleness and beauty!
I do hope that this won't be the end of our beloved Loki in the MCU though, I'm just not ready to let go yet! And finally to Mr. Tom Hiddelston, I wish nothing but endless success and fortunate, for you have made me feel like it's never too late to do the right thing and be the best at it too! I love you so much!!❤❤❤
I've suddenly realised how much I love listening to Tom speak. He could read a restaurant menu and I'll be HOOKED.
As always, such a great interview by Josh - because of the real connection they have as friends. So thrilled we got to have this! (With the Sag strike ending). Wonderful, thoughtful & delightful interview! Tom is simply - THE BEST. Thank you 🙏 Josh!
Tom Hiddleston could say anything ever and I’ll believe him
An interview coming from the heart ❤ It's beautiful to see how much Tom Hiddleston loves Loki.
Lokis the best written character in marvel and has had te best arc of any character, Tom deserves all the success hes gotten hes poured his heart and soul into loki for14 years ,toms such a genuinely lovely guy ,i feel the only way to end loki's journey properly is with a loki/ thor reunion so i hope we get that ,toms left his mark and legacy on marvel they'll never be anyone else like him ,marvel needs to honor toms dedication and give loki his rightfull place finally in the marvel intro lokis earned it as a character and tom deserves it as an actor ,the fans have so much love and respect for tom and rightfully so.
What a genuinely genuine guy!
Always has been. Always will be!
Love Tom Hiddleston. So passionate and intelligent . All his interviews are so interesting. Hoping to see Loki again and Night Manager 2. That fact that Tom says " when your jam comes on.."😂
What an amazing human being he is ! ! ! 💛
Aha, the interviewer Tom seems most comfortable with❤. Which leads to great interviews!.
They’re damned good friends. That’s why.
what an amazing soul
Loki is the most nuanced Character in the MCU. His charm, and brattiness, and yes - evil (dude killed people, terribly) is all because of Tom Hiddleston… Wowee!!
He's adopted 😂
Tom Hiddleston is awesome
The only Tom Hiddleston interview that matters imo ❤❤❤
Listening to Tom Hiddleston talk about his character, I can see why he was so successful at bringing to life to the best MCU god variant.
the part where they talk about zawe is so, so sweet! one of the things i love seeing in people is how they talk about their loved ones. it's so heartwarming and pure to watch and i never get tired of it.
Is there anyone who is more of a gentleman than Tom Hiddleston when it comes to an interview? He is a master craftsman and that voice is like velvet. I will be replaying this many, many times.💖
Loki for sure had the greatest character development because he acted like a villain. Tony was unaware of his actions but he wasn’t a villain. So I really have to agree that Loki really changed and had the greatest journey of all MCU characters. From bad to humble/selfless. It’s really huge.
Thank you Tom. You've always brought so much to this character and that's the reason the fans love you and why you've continually been written into the fabric of the mcu. You've done justice to the comic character and the mythological one. Hail loki God of mischief and stories
I'm so in love with this man!!!! I'm so thankful to him for giving us the best Loki ever💚
Your interviews with Tom are my absolute favorite! Thank you so much for this in-depth interview. Tom’s work has inspired me for years, particularly in the character of Loki. Shakespeare’s another area I’m super interested and inspired in, but Tom truly created something special with Loki by never taking the opportunity for granted. Tom never wasted a moment and it shows. Driven by love and passion, there’s a reason it’s resonated with us for years. So proud! And so fun hearing you two catch up over the years. Thanks for sharing with us✨
Oh my God Tom! You're more than KENough...😊❤
Loki was a masterpiece
He's just a phenomenal human being, isn't he?
Tom brought Loki to life with so much brilliance and integrity. I love when he said, "it felt mythic...i wanted to honour the ancient weight of this character." He truly did!! 💖
Tom Hiddleston is awesome ❤️
I think we all and the mcu should bebvery thankfull to Tom because only his acting and the deep emotions he gives loki, caused that Loki was able to develop into one of the most important characters in the Marcel universe. Without Tom's talent, Loki would probably have remained just another villain who would have disappeared into obscurity after two films. and Loki's "end" gives the whole mcu a greater scope.
He was only supposed to be in the first Thor movie. 😉
Im a huge fan of tom hiddleston man
This is the best post-Loki interview. Long enough, well paced, good questions. It does help that Josh and Tom know each other from long time ago. Also thanks for 2k quality option, for Hiddleston it’s a must
We are happy that your Glorious Purpose was being Loki ❤
Im craving to see loki making movie where he can see his mother frega, odin , and brother thor. Hugging 😢
Did anyone else’s heart stop when Josh asked when the last time was that he danced, and immediately thought of the video of Tom dancing with Taylor Swift at the Met gala 😭🤣🤣
No, because we fans immediately thought of the video of him dancing on the set of The Life of Chuck that just went viral on Instagram. That's why he said he couldn't talk about it because he doesn't want to spoil anything.
I say that he can always come back as a cameo as keeper of the multiverse. Just to reunite with Thor and get closure there. But this could very well be the end of his story. It's beautiful. Put a bow on it and let's focus on making a great New Avengers saga! Spider-Man, Daredevil, Wolverine, The X-Men, Miss Marvel, Kate Bishop as Hawkeye, Silver Surfer, Fantastic Four, the new Vision, Doctor strange! I'm so excited IDGAF
Tom hiddleston is such a great actor. I just watched this movie he was in he so he is brilliant about his performance. It is so dangerous and charming tom play both emotions in that character. I hope people think of him as a good actor
I was so Happy to see this interview, Sad to see it end, and we’re always Confused about Loki returning. 😂 But I’m so happy, and proud for Tom, he truly deserves an Emmy for his role.
Isn’t he just a wonderful individual, so nice and a true gentleman
Loki's character development is so cool man
I love how invested he is in his character loki. That’s a real actor right there! Love Tom ❤
Take a break, and come back Again.. Don't leave forever 💚😎
I knew the minute I saw Tom Hiddleston in the role as Loki, he was going to be magnificent and it has been nothing short of fantastic. Thanks, Tom. Bravo.
I'm so happy that we got to see these guys together again! I missed them doing their fun interview they are always the best.
His voice is so smooth and relaxing
“I don’t think I consciously collect anything” as he collects our hearts with every word
Its full circle and I wonder how could you continue lokis story from here. But sitting on a throne by himself and barely being able holding the strings of time together is not the end that loki deserves 😢 also he got a new niece that he need to meet and a brother that should be proud of what he had become
I think what is lacking with the new-age Marvel heroes is CHARISMA. I don't know but all these past casts had such overwhelming charisma and it takes charisma for you to root for superheroes!
But Loki had very little charisma in this second season.
I don't know how interviewers can afford this amount of time with an actor but I like this format of interview better than the annoyed/annoying/hurried junkets that happen..This is refreshing and relaxing. Do more, please !!!
"it wasn't acid........"
They’re best friends. They were probably just hanging out for the most of it!
I cannot tell you all how deeply it warms my heart to know that this Loki and his trickster energy is now holding the multiverse together. 💞💜💞
Same!!
Great interview! Tom Hiddleston is the man, the perfect choice to play Loki, he absolutely nailed the role.
Hes such a cool guy has time fir evryone❤
Josh's point on Lokis character arch is on point! Loki started out as the enemy we all feared and then ultimately became the hero that saved all time. From his lust for attention and power to his last moments on screen committing a selfless act of heroism. His transformation was superb! Tom Hiddleston absolutely killed it! Best actor in the MCU right next to RDJ 🙌🏼
Absolutely in love with Tom Hiddleston ❤️❤️❤️
He has such a soothing voice, he should do audiobooks if he hasn’t already.
(Also, Loki and Mobius are so fun together because they always bicker like an old married couple 😂)
Thanks for this interview Josh, Tom we really admire you so much
Great interview as always Josh. Tom is class!
Thank you so much for this interview. Your meeting with Tom Hiddleston are always so warm and clever.
39:16 I love how much Tom loves Roger Federer
Loki is the most thought Marvel character, best journey, growght, and best acted. I really didn't expect to love the story that much... and I'm a fan, but this is something else. Thanks Tom Hiddleston for this performance, with just a close up I teared up. 💯
That was a fantastic conversation. Been a fan of Tom's work for years. His performance as Loki, is one of the best in his career. To many more amazing stories with his next project
The way Tom describes Loki is what started my fan journey into the MCU and over time it continued to feed my passion for psychology. It got to the point that I want to start my own nonprofit to combine my love for the geek community and psychology 😅❤❤
God, I see an interview of Josh with Tom I immediately have to check it out! You can always see how much they enjoy each other's company, that's essential to a good interview ❤️
*Tom Hiddleston’s Dedication and Passion to Marvel and Loki*
- He read the comics as he was growing up.
- He watched the Marvel movies since the beginning and knows a lot about them.
- He held multi-day (4 day long) ‘Loki’ & ‘Marvel’ lectures for the entire cast and crew even going to Owen’s house several days in a row to help him prepare for his role as ‘Mobius.’
- He learnt Norwegian and sang in it as well as learning Latin. He studied Norse lore to prepare for his role in the first Thor movie.
- He asked the composer, Natalie Holt to put certain music tracks into particular scenes in the show.
- He handed out poetry to the cast and crew in order to ‘inspire their imaginations’
- He wrote a *NINE* year long essay of the character.
- He was made ‘special executive producer’ since he has such passion and knowledge of Marvel!
- He listened to the Thor 1 soundtrack when he decided to repeat the line he also improvised in that movie and re-used in ‘Loki’ S2: “For you. For all of us.”
- He says that it is his ‘glorious purpose’ to play him and that he sees apart of himself in the character and would play him for the ‘rest of his life.’
Amazing interview, as always. I love the dynamic between you two and the way Tom speaks about this character. I think he genuinely cares and that makes all the difference. Thank you!
The more I watch your interview , the more I learn on how to do the same. I've been talking to voice actors from video games and you have been one of my biggest inspiration. So thank you for setting up all these conversations and this one was so awesome and so chill and I could listen to Tom talk for a long long long time
This interview struck a match and blew my mind
I loved this interview, watching Tom talk is mesmerizing 🥰🥰🥰🥰 I wish this wasn’t the end of Loki
Who says it is? 😉
I really love this interview. Very pertinent questions to allow Tom share his personal feelings about Loki. We can see how much he committed and how much he is Loki. ❤
Always the best interviews, I love the rapport and the friendship it's so great!!
