He is pure class, maybe it's a British thing, maybe it's just a wonderful upbringing, but he seems like such a nice human being.
It's not a British thing. He was just raised well.
I take exception with my fellow commentators, as a British gentleman (raised well) it is indeed the fact that it is "a British thing" not only to be charming (classy) but also to be polite, self deprecating, kind to children and animals, more importantly to give up a seat to an unseated lady to hold doors open for same and protect if being accosted. Never leave home without a clean pair of shoes, and most importantly.....ensure the lady "comes" first!
He comes from a pretty good family and he is well educated, went to Eton, then Cambridge and eventually Royal Academy of Dramatic Art.
He is and he deserves the world!! I don’t think is a British thing he was just raised by wonderful parents!!
It stems from good parenting and peers, like in every other country. At least I imagine.
Tom is the kind of man who can light up a room with his charming smile. That’s his real glorious purpose. Even if we don’t see him as Loki again, at least he got to tell the story he intended.

Loki Season 2 was perfect! What an absolute phenomenal character Arc and transfrom for Loki. Seeing his character grow and evolve over the entire MCU was already an adventure. This show really got down to the Raw character behind the god of mischief. Why does Loki do what he does and what makes a Loki tick? That was the central question of season 1, and the central question of season 2 was, "Can Loki truly change his predestined character?" He who remains never saw that as a possibility and never accounted for it which ultimately led to his ultimate defeat with Loki's sacrifice even after trying to present Loki with the easy way out of joining him by his side and letting him take over his job or letting Slive die and letting the TVA continue their work as usual. Loki chose neither and decided to burden the responsibility of the infinite Multiverse all on his shoulders so not only his friends could have a chance of true free will but have a chance to live long and fulfilled lives without having to worry about the dictator at the top of the Multiverse. Loki gave up his forever and his life and his own Free Will so that every single individual across the Multiverse that it's infinitely expanding every second can have that luxury that he himself will never be able to truly experience ever again. He realized it's more burden than Glory to be in his position. That was the most important lesson Mobius taught him. So now he sits alone at the top of it all. A God to a Multiverse that will never be able to truly appreciate him. He will never again be able to set foot on what he now guards and protects, but he will be able to watch and continue to let the stories of the individuals he helps live thrive. He is the god of stories because not only does he have the ability to watch and listen into every individual he's giving free will to by examining their stories and their lives but he is also the only one sitting on the throne of existence itself that allows every individual living the luxury of free will. He is the reason why everyone is alive across all of existence and he is the only reason why they don't have to worry about a tyrannical dictator controlling their lives across the Multiverse. He is the only reason why anyone in the Multiverse gets to have the opportunity to live a full, free, and fulfilling life. That is now his ultimate mission, his ultimate sacrifice, his Glorious Purpose.
No, THE ENDING of season 2 was perfect, and you're projecting that final impression on the entire season, but the writing and directing for the season was actually so awful, my friend had to force me to continue watching.
Typical Disney+ show. Slow paced, repetitive, completely changing characters and their dynamic amongst each other (Loki/Sylvie), an annoying glorification of the 80s, too many meaningless side plots, and at the end of an average episode the overall plot has not progressed at all and you ask yourself "why did I just waste 30-60 minutes watching NOTHING happen?". And the most god awful actor to ever work in the MCU, Jonathan majors. I was so annoyed by his wannabe artistic acting in his short stint on s1 already, it was painful to see so much of him. Good riddance, woman beater.

I just love this guy. He is so charming, well-spoken, respectful, and appreciative. Everyone, and certainly a lot of actors, could learn a lesson or two from how he conducts himself, and how he has conducted his career.

Tom is a super human being. Even though I met him very briefly for a signing at Tokyo Comic Con last Dec, he was very sincere and will look you in the eye and chat with you even for 30s, unhurried, even though there's a long line and many people to get through. Incredibly genuine, never drops his smile, AAA PR skills. Much respect
My favorite Hiddleston interviews are where he just goes through different accents and explains the facial nuances, etc. it’s fascinating. I should’ve gone into linguistical anthropology but Hiddleston helps make up for it

@@narabdela In 2016 I didn’t see many people talking about it. Everyone knew him from Loki. A lot that rediscovered it later after being fans of Marvel. Maybe it was different in the US, I can’t speak for that.
The Night Manager - I did not know him before... I was as if I were hit by a comet while watching him play. He is 20 years younger but I fell for him as I did in 1975 for Alain Delon, my father's age, when he played Zorro! It is a different way you fall for actors than for real people.
