This is one of my favorite songs of Pat's - to me, this song was a complement to the dance elements incorporated to her hard rock vibe similar to Love Is A Battlefield and Invincible. Excellent song that should have done better in the US.

Yes, and even though they both say that doing "Seven the hard way" was not a joyful experience, as it was "done the hard way" under pressure from Chrysalis - it is still an awesome LP. Le Bel Age and The Art of Letting Go are the LP's finest moments IMO.
+Lou Cigna Do you mean not a fan of this re-mix or the song in general? I know they do from time to time play 'Sex' in concert. I also know that Neil wished he had more time to work on this song. The record company was pushing for the album release quickly this song was on.
Pat and Stevie Nicks were by far and still by far the best female vocals to this day. I feel very blessed to have grown up with the awesome 80's music, god I miss those days days
I don’t know why she did this. She created a image and then she turned her back on what made her famous. I am not a person to talk about their idol 😅but Sex as a weapon kind of killed her Commercial success but Chrsilys records tortured them. God bless Bella Chassio. I mean take Pat Benatar now She can sing I dare Britney Spears Taylor Swift Joan Jett Madonna if you ever go to a concert and listen to them you would walk right out and go to work at Benatar concert she’s 62 years old she sounds like she still singing from a record clean clean clean living is the key to her the best people again I ever met in my life I can’t stress it enough
