Great tips Deya! I think the only way we differ is that when I started, I had very few savings and not much of a plan. Thankfully, demand outstripped supply and I was able to keep the lights on, BUT, the work itself wasn't very enjoyable. That's why your first step - knowing what you want - is so crucial.
Thank you so much for making this channel. All the tips that you have provided on this channel are so helpful. I was at the same burst point where I thought it was riskier for me not to find an alternative other than the traditional 9 to 5. I am still at the prepping stage of starting my freelancing business and it's crucial to kick aside perfectionism and just take the first step. Love the quote!
Excellent 🌟 Besides Experience which factors matters to Clients mostly to get projects & What book would u suggest to get started in freelancing as beginner for someone who is a working consultant for engineering projects..
Actually I am an Electrical Engineer but I am doing job in Japan International Cooperation Agency as Finance and Admin Officer which is contractual job. I have contract unto September 2025. Now I wanna do freelancing. I am learning Project Management, Digital Marketing, Email Marketing,SEO along with my full time job. Would you please tell me How can I move forward? It will be very helpful. I have 9 months to prepare myself as freelancer. Thanks in advance.
Hi Deya! your video is very insightful. I recently got an offer for a freelance remote job but they have a fix time. do you think it is worth it to work fulltime 9-5 in daytime and freelancing in night time? I just thinking like how many people have been doing this (and they are fine) or should i quit my fulltime job. (the salary for freelancing is higher than my current fulltime job😅) thanks
Catastrophiser yup THATS ME. this was an awesome video Deya, thank you!

The absolute "tweet"to be able to balance that with a freelance gig and still have a life :( But hey, got to get real right!?
Ah, yes indeed! It's not always easy but definitely possible! :)
