Question for you guys @WT I’m looking for a good way to go direct to sound board from my little pedal board. I know you guys love the helix and I see its usefulness but it looks like a confusing (expensive) computer thingy hahaha I’m a simple girl that needs a simple solution. Maybe an amp that has a good direct out or some sort of DI that you have found that works well???
I've had good luck using a Mesa CabClone with an amp - it lets you go direct and has cabinet modeling, but you still need the amp. I think the new Fender Bassbreaker amps have direct outs for going straight to a board. I'm not familiar with how well the direct out works, but those amps are really good. You could also use an amp modeler style pedal at the end of your pedal chain like the Tech21 Liverpool (or Joyo AC Tone).
I've got the pod hd500x that has never left my side. Although I'm slowly saving up for a helix (probably a rack mount for our new location) I bet you could find a good price for an hd500x. Not as difficult to learn as you would think.
Hey, Love the patches and the effort your team puts in to creating them. When you make a patch from another artist song, do you try to make the patch sound like the gear they are using or do you just match by ear off the recording?
Paul Kisila This may sound rude but to play a guitar you must own one. I would if you are starting out I would go with epiphone or a cheap fender. The great thing about those brands is they are to some extent budget. So you can but don't have to pay a lot. Hope this helped.
Sounds great, well done. Will be looking at this patch as a great base tone to tweak. Do you happen to use the scratchy part of the pick? It sounds a bit like it at times, I do myself.
Bradford Mitchell I got this patch and it sounds great but I definitely had to roll off some high end as I was using a strat. My les Paul probably would be just right
Bradford is one of the campus worship leaders at my church (we are a multi-site church, so we're both worship leaders on staff). He just happens to be a killer guitar player as well.
Great job! Thanks for showing without having to use a capo.
Nice! This is probably one of my favorites that we play. The build just gives me chills!

isaac bueckert thanks Isaac! Little bit of both, actually. Usually I’ll try to find out what amp was used on the recording and then go from there.
I want to download this
+Elisha Basu there is a link to get the patch in the description. Thanks!
I wanna learn how to play but I don't have a guitar, what should I do? From Tanzania.

Hey Brian what pickups do you have in this Shelton?
Joel Augustine they’re all porters! Neck is a JM, middle is a mini humbucker and bridge is a wide range hb.
Seriously... that thing sounds AMAZING
chord shapes please good sir..thanks..
Tabs please
What pickups are in the Jm?
Do you have a tab for this? Really want to learn it without a capo in Bflat
Where do I find tabs?
what are the tabs
Is this guy your lead guitarist?
Bradford is one of the campus worship leaders at my church (we are a multi-site church, so we're both worship leaders on staff). He just happens to be a killer guitar player as well.
Nice. Looks like he's enjoying the Helix as well.
Brad's actually a Kemper player (you can even see his Kemper in the bottom left corner of the video), but he knows good tone when he hears it :)
*WHATS THIS GUITAR?*
The pic you posted for this on your website says Jesus culture be lol sounds amazing though
+Nathan Dillard thanks - I fixed it.
sorry how that guitar neck is called or what brand it is? thanks :)
todo muy bonito, pero boludo subi la tablatura.....
Perfect example of an over used tremolo
FoZe ScuMP perfect example of an opinion :)
Perfect example for how to put some one down when they clearly are playing the song how it's played and clearly better you.
Well done🤗
