    Thanks for the tips bro. Especially numbering the plug housing and the antiseiz suggestion

    If you use a bungee cord attached to the rear seat and gas tank it will hold it out of the way for you!

    Great video. Also thanks for the advise to search for the box number. Saved me 5 €/piece. Greetings from Germany!

    Useful video, thank you. I am trying to take out my plugs from the side, I obviously have to go in through the top.
    What size socket are you using for the spark plugs?
    This is a really poor bit of design re. Honda. Spark plugs should be easy to change, without taking the bike to bits. Mine is a 1989 (Jelly Mold) model.

    I think you probably should have numbered the actual wires instead of the coils since the coils don't matter if they get mixed up. The wires going to the coils however do matter....

    My advice is take your old plug in to the auto parts store and show it to them and they should be able to find it from that, took me 3 times of going to the auto store.

      I think service interval is 10k on plugs. Follow my links on Amazon to what you need these are iridium there not cheap. Also give amsoil a shot as well from links below. After I fully serviced the bike using amsoil the owner couldn't believe the difference. Any other questions shoot me a email.

    Would this be the same as on a ‘99 CBR 600 F4?

    • @TorrentPerformance
      @TorrentPerformance  5 лет назад +1

      The process should be the same it may run different plug numbers. Im not 100% on it but if you watch this video all the way threw it should be pretty close to the carb model. Im trying to find a carbbed model now. Not alot of info out on it.

    • @forzerotoo
      @forzerotoo 5 лет назад +1

      TorrentPerformance yeah, I’m mainly wondering if I’ll have the clearance to do it without taking the carb off. The injector rail looks a lot smaller than the carbs when I had the tank and airbox off of mine. Any info you have will help, thanks!!!

    • @TorrentPerformance
      @TorrentPerformance  5 лет назад +1

      @@forzerotoo if its carbed you shouldnt worry about injector rail. Air box really needs to come off though. If your gonna think you can save time messing around it your not. You will struggle and waste more time with airbox id just remove it.

    • @forzerotoo
      @forzerotoo 5 лет назад +1

      TorrentPerformance I think I wasn’t clear. I’ve had the tank and air box off before, but mine having the carb looked a lot tighter than the fuel injected engine in this video. I shouldn’t need to take the carb off to have room to get the plugs in/out, was more of my question?

    • @TorrentPerformance
      @TorrentPerformance  5 лет назад +1

      @@forzerotoo no i wouldnt the plugs are on front of the engine those carbs should be farther back they wont be in the way at all

    Hello!
    Soo I have the same bike
    ‘01 cbr 600f4i
    I’m noticing it having trouble accelerating when I past 4K rpm
    Any suggestions on what might be wrong??

    • @TorrentPerformance
      @TorrentPerformance  4 года назад

      Kyle could be a number of things. Have you worked on this and it's a problem now. Or was this a problem before? Alot of variables on a bike when stuff goes wrong.

    • @kylemamaril7703
      @kylemamaril7703 4 года назад

      I will say I fell while riding, about a year ago,
      But it only had a cracked hub cap that is now replaced
      Before that there was no problem with it.

    • @TorrentPerformance
      @TorrentPerformance  4 года назад

      Hubcaps are on cars not bikes .

    • @kylemamaril7703

      I guess I’m calling it something else but it’s the cover where the stator is
      BUT ANYWAYS ITS FIXED.
      But that’s basically the history of the bike
      I tried riding but it I couldn’t accelerate any faster once I pass 4K rpm
      It has no problem before hitting that tho

    • @TorrentPerformance
      @TorrentPerformance  4 года назад

      You replace the stator?

    • @TorrentPerformance

      Yeah I really should've done that. Kinda over did it just holding the tank.

    Coilpack order is 1234 correct?

    • @TorrentPerformance
      @TorrentPerformance  5 лет назад +1

      They should all be same part numbers for each cylinder. I mark them and put them back the way they come out. If you messed that up they fit in each cylinder fine.

      You want a spark plug socket, has a rubber piece on the inside to catch it, at least that's what I use

    Cheapest I've found is about 15 dollars for each plug
