Is the knob pull off/removable? Ours needs some electronics spray cleaner sprayed into the knob shaft.. Because the knob response has gotten bad/jumpy. Due to common age/oxidation of internal contacts... But unplugging and spraying with the knob installed, blocks the spray from getting where it needs to. Thanks
is it more suitable for single-dose-grinds as there is a clip attached to the bottom of the hopper, and how much weight for 'one shut' of the clip. thank you so much.
The Peak uses cast steel burrs (similar to the EK43) and the E65S uses tool steel burrs (same set as the K30). The E65S will extract slightly lower than a Peak. The E65S is blazing fast -- almost toe to toe with a Robur. It also features a large LED screen that displays current settings. The Peak's screen is smaller, but the user interface is still wonderfully intuitive. The E65S also sports a slimmer and taller profile than the Peak.
I noticed the reviewer moved the adjustment ring without the grinder running, something most grinders do not recommend - is this one different and allows this? Otherwise it would seem to take 3 hands to move the ring, run the grinder, and catch the coffee....
The grind size did not change, I think the dial knob just settled into place. The dial knob has a tiny amount of play to it, but this didn't cause us any problems.
Finally a review of this! Looking to pick 2 of this up for the shop.
Would you prefer this over the Eureka Atom 75?

Good review!

The Guatemala can be used for single dosing. There is no hopper gate preventing beans from entering the burr chamber.
How is this grinder for adjusting waste wise? When you change the grind size do you have to purge more coffee than say a mythos grinder?
Yes. It’s retention is quite high.
I have that U ring fell out of it and have no clue how to put it back. Any suggestions?

@@primacoffeeequipment Thanks, I figured it out from an online photo, just had to rotate it 180 on vertical axis.
What is the difference between this and the Mahlkonig Peak? And which is better?

Nice! Thanks
Glad you enjoyed it!
