Rob Zombie - vocals
All Music (c)1995 Geffen Records
one thing I love about White Zombie is that despite coming from the 90s, their sound still sounds fresh and heavy, not dated. A lot of modern American bands still try to sound like this, but they never do it as well.
Rob Zombie has style, he has the voice. Love them!
man they sound great, I'm suprised at how much I still like J's guitar tone. NICE!
J and Sean are heavy as hell. Usually that tone takes two guitarists but J did his homework.
This performance was bad-ass -- we were lucky enough to see it live on Letterman in '95, along with More Human Than Human. I forgot this part, but my husband reminded me that this performance set off the fire alarms in the Letterman/Ed Sullivan Studio --- fire trucks showed up and we all had to be evacuated quickly to the street. Luckily, it was the end of the show anyway. Excellent -- miss the old White Zombie
Iceman guitar and bass = WIN
dood... not only one of theyre greatest songs... but an awesome stage show as well....
@CLEE1395 : The pyro at the very end of the song is what set off the alarms.
All the instruments in this song are sweet, but the drums are kick fuckin' ass!
they're both really great in their own ways
@gothos1000 its only bad if your thinking of 90's heavy music in this day and age. theres a whole new era of amazing heavy music out right now.
I remember seeing them in 1995. I thought I was going to die at that concert in the pit.
robs moves are great
Psycho Charger follows in footsteps Love White Zombie Rob Zombie \m/
Right on! \m/
one of the heaviest songs ever!!!!!
Cool
great performance !
@aaroboge He also has a breathing problem. So that makes him that much better.
Nice
some claim they showed pantera up during those days. i find that hard to believe...nobody rocked harder than pantera.
Nice Spinal Tap ending.
@MMRED you made me go back and read my comment. i don't even know what i was talking about. but hey, i drink alot. metallica, as you say, came first. i remember when i bought la Sexorcisto, thinking rob sounded like a heavier hetfield. the whole thing about pantera and ministry, is that i was 20 in 1990, when all this shit was happening, and it seemed like a big family - they all wore each others t-shirts on stage, and as a community of heaviness, inspired each other to be themselves.
...
Ah, the legendary "nerve-ball"...,.
(Deviled~ham comes in a can.)
AWSOME
rob is such a good dancer
agreed
This band ruled! Better than the Rob Zombie stuff..... BUT....... yes his vocals live were then pretty tragic! He sounds constantly tired and out of breath? I saw them play on the astro creep tour and it wasnt bad. THEN I saw the hellbilly deluxe tour when he went solo. That was terrible! Sounded great but it was backing tapes! Monster magnet supported and everyone found that to be much cooler (although a different thing). I was always a bigger Ministry fan (but again different thing)
and im not saying i dont like white zombie, white zombie IS my favorite band of all time but dude, idk noone doesnt like pantera though. they were so huge in the 90's
@soemoithurts1337 cause he looked up on wikipedia and seen they were groove metal and obv the must sound the same if there the same genre and if wikipedia says something it MUST be true :P
@gothos1000 check out sylosis, the defiled, cancer bats, black dahlia murder (yeah i said it haha) or malefice all amazing bands

@AstroninjaTV
Shit.."Despite coming from the 90's"...that's laughable. See: Primus, White Zombie, Soundgarden, Slayer, Alice in Chains, Nine Inch Nails, Living Colour, Pantera, Pearl Jam, Prong, Nirvana, Radio Head, Beastie Boys, Kenny Wayne Shepherd Band, Rage Against the Machine, Temple of the Dog, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Tool, Korn, Dream Theater, Guns N Roses, Faith No More, Fugazi, Lenny Kravitz, Foo Fighters, Marylin Manson, Dave Matthews Band, Stone Temple Pilots, Metallica, Megadeth..
@AstroninjaTV
...The Black Crows, U2, Dr. Dre, 2 Pac, Beck, Eminem, Spindoctors, The Fugees, Weezer, Blues Traveler, Prince, Counting Crows, Smashing Pumpkins, Blind Melon, Sublime, Oasis, REM, Collective Soul, Live, Alanis Morissette, Soul Asylum, Anthrax, Cannibal Corpse, Morbid Angel, Sepultura, Bela Fleck, Mark O' Connor, .....
In closing I'd like to interject that...."Despite coming from the 90's" is one of the dumbest fucking comments I've ever heard.
Rob's never had a great live voice, cuz he dances like a gogo dancer the whole time and can't breathe. awesome studio cuts but the guy can't stand in place to catch his breath for a full verse. Plus I agree with the commentor that said his band should have had mics to backup Rob.
11greenlantern: she looks like a chick, because she IS a chick, and a damn fine one at that.
LOL WUT?
you cant compare White Zombie to anyone, Pantera are a better metal band, but White Zombie are more than just a metal band, there so different its pointless
