Bonzo supplies the main riff - that is for sure, but…John’s brass and string arrangements on the studio version is just astounding. His Mellotron and pedals on live renditions recreate what sounds like a Moroccan street band! While this version displays its usual grandeur, (the entire drawn out ending is incredible here) the audience tape from Richfield Coliseum on 28.4.77 is just larger than life. A good audience tape from ‘77 does really capture the enormity of the Zeppelin live event.
