He most likely was involved in Joseph Ryan's death, and subsequently in the deaths of Charles Vallow, Tylee, JJ and Tammy. Don't forget Brandon's attempted shooting incident.

Yes, Alex was the "alleged" shooter and was also present on the Daybell property on the night of her death.
