Ben: "But she's not there." Actually Ben, her soul/spirit is inside the helmet or at the very least, a portion of it was left when she used it. maxdrags3 Dr. Strange can survive a lot of stuff, but Dr. Fate can do all of that, and more. Dr. Stramge has done universe defying feats, but he definitely wouldnt be able to physically hold back the destrution of the universe. And Dr. Fate has artifacts that make him surpass all gods in his universe, of which Dr Strange has none that could say the same. Put Dr. Strange 1v1 against any god that made or owns an artifact he uses. He won't win.
JT Looks like you haven't done any research. I'm not going to argue with an ignorant fanboy like you. Come back after you've actually looked up the greatest feats of Dr. Strange.
Lol I love how everyone's bashing on Fate here. I like Strange a lot, but you can't deny the power difference. And regardless of who'd beat who in a fight, we should be able to respect these characters for who they are either way. Quit being salty people, I've had my favorites lose before and I still enjoy the battles.
Both characters can backhand the average God. I like comparing stats as much as the next, but when you get that powerful, I think the whole question of who would win is beyond meaningless.
maxdrags3 I am someone who has read the comics of both. Dr. Fate has way better feats if strength and magic than Strange. Fate has more raw power than Strange, has more overall power without needing to rely on artifacts, and has, with Nabu, easily overpowered other Lords of Order and Chaos. Not to mention it is canon that Nabu has knowledge of ALL MAGIC, even from universes OUTSIDE the DCU. So yeah, he know exactly what he was dealing with the moment they started. But as one of the other comments stated, both could blink each other out if existence with a mere flick of the hand. But in the bigger picture, Fate has done WAY more. So don't talk about this like any of this matters.
Vivek Tarkunde Reading Comics or actually looking up the best feats oh both... Reading comics doesn't mean crap. Dr. Strang IS the more powerful whether you wanna accept it or not. And the Marvel and DC Franchise is not connected in the comics, so there is NO way that he could know about magic in another franchise. So shut up you dumb fanboy.

Question, as powerful as Strange is, in all his magical knowledge and prowess, and is freakin immortal...literally nothing in his arsenal can cure nerve damaged hands?
I asked a massive Doctor Strange fan why Strange didn't heal his hands. The answer that he gave me was that Strange could heal his hands, but doing so would deplete his entire magical output and he would no longer be able to practice magic. Strange decided to put his ego aside and dedicate his life to being the Sorcerer Supreme. I then asked him how that made any sense, given that Strange has used magic thousands of times over that would equal a far greater supply of magic than just healing hands, and he admitted that it was a copout that was just used to address the obvious.
Dr fate actually had an underrated character. Kent Nelson suffers from depression because he is basically a slave to the helm and nabu gains a relationship with Kent growing more closer to humanity
Doctor fate isn’t an asshole in my opinion i do respect your opinion because do you remember injustice when used his heat vision to kill black canary doctor fate healed black canary and took her to another universe with her baby with another Oliver Quinn and when she wanted to go back to face Superman doctor fate refused so that so that she doesn’t have to suffer

That's actually not true. There were times he possessed people unwillingly or forced them to be Doctor Fate. It happened in Young Justice if you want an example.
You can't base a FIGHT off of personality. Yeah, Fate's an a-hole. That says nothing about his skill. There's a difference between one's favorite and the best. To paraphrase grant morrison, by removing the phsycial limitations you leave only the moral and emotional, the most human of all. superman is about who he is, who he inpires, and his life, it is not about whether he wins a fight. Take superman vs the elite, or all-star superman, it's about what he stands for, and the ideals he makes real. He stands as the impossible boy-scout, the guy who strives for impossibly high moral standards, because he's SUPERMAN, the guy who CAN do it, and encourages all other heros to try. that said, That is my reason for enjoying his character, and I do understand while his stories can be uninteresting to some. It's a fair observation. and I'm sorry to hear about the fat jokes. you provide grand entertainment and some fascinating insights, and do not deserve such barbs. oh, and one last thing? depending on the theology, the devil is often portrayed as god's 'devil's advocate' as it where. someone to test himself against, and find flaws for him to improve on, such as in the bet for job or his temptation of christ. It DOES vary according to the canon however, and even then they aren't what you'd call friends or even allies.
Daniel Wilson I get what your trying to say about super man. However no matter how good the emotional and moral limitations are there should still be some limitations to what characters can do. For example since superman is about always doing the right thing and striving for moral perfection, in the few instances he screws up or is in a situation where all possible outcomes are bad ones, he should have to live with the consequences. However any time super man fails, loses, does something unforgivable, or has to make a hard decision where to save something or someone important he has to give up something or someone equally as important, the writers always puss out make that storyline practically meaningless. Granted I've never read a comic before, but I am aware of some of the super man story lines. For example the infamous story line, he was tricked into killing his wife and son destroyed metropolis killed the joker and became an evil tyrant,it was all just a parallel universe. Or how about what Ben was talking about when the sun was blown up and superman got magic powers, nope he went back in time and stop that from happening rendering the entire storyline meaningless. Or how about when superman is killed by doomsday, nah superman just comes back to life and sends the unbeatable doomsday to the end of time. Or when the joker becomes king of the universe, bends reality to his whim, tortures batman to death over and over and over again until he's completely broken, and how does it end, everything is returned to normal. the emotional and psychological trauma that was so bad it scarred batman soul to the point Mr. Mcguiffin Mc DeusExMachina (couldnt remember his name, start with an M) couldnt repair batman's soul, so superman had all the infinite pain and suffering batman experienced transferred to him and it's never brought up again. Even though it would have been an interesting storyline to have super man experiencing PTSD and seeing how he handle it. But no it had no long lasting effect on him at all. Your right that superman is about his morals. Super man is about a god trying to be human. BUT everytime he experiences hardships the writers always give him an out, because he's superman and superman can do anything and super am is perfect and flawless and if he isn't make that imperfect version of him be from a parallel universe or have him go back in time and erase whatever made him imperfect. The way Superman should be written is as a perfect hero. Not perfect as in solves everything with ease and always saves everyone. Perfect as in someone who goes through the same things we go through, except where we would stumble and fall, he would keep walking straight and true. Since superman's a God trying to be human, he should experience the hardships we experience, struggle with the same things we struggle with, and ultimately, at the point where most people would falter, he would keep going strong and become the guiding light that show us the way to deal with that adversity. He should act as a moral compass for the reader, someone we should strive to be more like every day of our lives. That what the perfect hero is and that how superman should be. But then again that just my opinion. I've only ever heard summaries of a few of superman's storylines and a few people's descriptions of what his comics are about, so I don't really know that much about him. This was just my opinion as someone who has a minor hobby as a writer. My opinion is based off peoples descriptions of the comics and storylines and what little i know about writing.
I Recommend a channel called FactFiend, the channel has videos that go into detail of certain facts like the car crash stunt from Dr. Strange, Sylvester Stallone being hospitalised by one punch from Ivan Drago and a scene cut from the first Terminator movie to show how the Terminator keeps his skin from dying. The guy makes the videos more fun by adding other facts, telling funny true stories and chat about stupid but interesting scenarios with his editor and cameraman who we hear but never see.
Death Battles I'd like to see you guys react to Ryu vs Jin (best fight of season 5 (so far) and there's a reference in it which you should get) Balrog vs TJ Combo (best fight of season 4) Green Arrow vs Hawkeye (cause why not) Smokey Bear vs McGruff the Crime Dog (introduces a new animation style) Naruto vs Ichigo (Chuck Norris and Segata Sanshiro were seen after the K.O) Samurai Jack vs Afro Samurai (when it comes out on the 25th July) Also it's funny that Ben mentioned Chuck Norris and Segata Sanshiro when he did because a few seconds earlier in the fight, you can see them in the stars in the background
Of course humans writing omnipotent characters is boring. How is something so limited supposed to imagine something so grand and completely alien to logic. You certainly can't have conflict of any kind when you start making up impossible powers which affect things that don't even make sense in the first place. Thats why time travel is always a plothole headache.
Vivek, i did not say he wasn't. The omnipotent part is the problem. The character does not possess omnipotent character qualities. The point is that god power removes any problem unless its also god power or has stupid nonsensical rules. Obviously the god power or nosense stories are going to be stupid. The characters in those stories can be good but i was talking about everything else. Flawed or limited characters are more interesting than flawless omnipotent characters is the main point.
I don't know if you spotted it or not, but at one point, when Strange and Fate dimension hoping, you can see Chuck and Segata's constellation in the background for a few moments before they transport to the final battleground.
Listen I'm mad because it's boring because it's over power and everything like that but you have the Flash and Wonder Woman Who can change time and killed gods that not broken and this is
Errrmm FYI, dr fate and stange get mentioned in the same convo based on their visual similarities not combat abilities! Its not even a challenge for fate as he is merely a state of being. Not only are u guys biased, you know nothing about the DC universe. Yall the same people who would make fun of aquaman simply because.
I love how they got mad strange lost. But we are talking about a GOD against a stone to control time. And if fate is a god he could also control time. Even inside fates amulet strange isn’t strong enough. And think about fates an asshole because he’s been around since the beginning of the universe. He’s seen everything while strange hasn’t, sure he can go back in time, but won’t fully understand it. And fate has more knowledge in fighting because he’s seen all of it, knowing almost, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Russian Sambo, etc. So there’s no reason to be mad. I mean seeing the thumbnail of this video, Fate obviously would win easily. I mean the dudes a god. Just my opinion though.
One thing they don't mention, Nelson, in order to hold the helmet of fate is required to be fit enough and capable enough mytically. He needs to be a sorcerer supreme just to get the job. So even without the helmet, Nelson is incredibly tough to beat.
You guys were all wrong on Robocop vs Terminator, when ya picked the Terminator. Also could you do TJ Combo vs Balrog, one of the best and closest matchups in my opinion.
can you not include Ben in any of your reactions whahahahahah it clear that the others are not interested in what he's saying but still needs to wait for him to finish...It takes a bunch of time and bord us to death...No offence just an opinion whahah
Tbh I think it would be a cool video if you guys asked for roasts, had someone pick out the best ones, and reacted to those. No idea if you've already done it.
Yay, Ben is back! I missed you! Ben forgot about the original Blue Beetle, Dan Garrett. He used the Blue Scarab to gain flight, energy projection, superhuman strength, and superhuman durability. He was basically an archaeologist that discovered the Blue Scarab in an Egyptian tomb. He thought it was magic, but it was later revealed to be alien technology.
Fate Maybe Be Snobby (Like Iron Man) Sometimes, But Fate Was Also The One Who Saved Black Canary And Her Child From Evil Superman (And Gave Her A New Green Arrow!)
Magic is only cheating in a Literature perspective. Magic in Superhero stories is heavily criticized by some. Even Tolkien downplayed magic in his Works being aware that if Gandalf or Saruman wanted they could have done whatever they wanted.
D'awww, you guys wanted to root for Strange. Or Fate. I'm joking, of course. It really could have gone whatever way! I mean, why care whoever wins?! The answer is, obviously, the Dr. wins. Because duh. But really, does it matter who wins? Both have the power to rip the very fabric of reality asunder. It is like slamming God against the face of God. It's kind of crazy.
I know this is an old video, but every time I here a dislike about Superman it’s almost about his powers, and not his character, power ignores his character an complain about his powers, an I’m pretty sure a lot of the hate/ criticism started with death battle, at least with newer people, old people probably remember the older not so well written comics that just gave him new powers an that’s it, but they also ignore some of Superman’s best story’s and there for miss the good, Also for the new people all they get for movies is a mood Superman who’s adopted father said, maybe you shouldn’t have saved those kids on the bus
I get what Ben means about Fate. Both Tony Stark and Dr. Fate have large egos but its still possible to check Tony's ego whereas there is nobody who can do that for Fate.
Have you guys thought of reacting to A Fox in Space? What I find funny is that the final dimension/place in this vid was they were on top of the back of Shenron from DBZ.
Man they talked here that fate is a asshole , but if you search in the comics strange is a Bigger asshole , he is arrogant as heck , in some fate versions he's controlled by the helmet , so some versions of him aren't really asshole
"Strange is a better written character" Nabu has never really bragged about anything, Doctor Fate is an incredibly well written character and I don't really see how he is an asshole

DC has more power characters is just that simple 💪
Better and stronger.
@@dcmastermindfirst9418 honestly for me it’s really just depends what universe we’re talking about better or stronger
@@fudgee-stix5335 Definitely DC.
The strongest and most iconic characters ever.
Norris vs segeta was in the background
Sorry Nate, but "better written characters" has no place in a FUCKING BATTLE TO THE DEATH
"You Troglodyte I washed these!" Nate, We haven't gotten into the reaction and already you're making me laugh.
Ben if you look in the background they have the chuck segata constellation
31:39 if you see this, yay becouse they did show up in away, after leaving the star wars one the constitution they made was in the background
Death Battles I'd like to see you guys react to
Ryu vs Jin (best fight of season 5 (so far) and there's a reference in it which you should get)
Balrog vs TJ Combo (best fight of season 4)
Green Arrow vs Hawkeye (cause why not)
Smokey Bear vs McGruff the Crime Dog (introduces a new animation style)
Naruto vs Ichigo (Chuck Norris and Segata Sanshiro were seen after the K.O)
Samurai Jack vs Afro Samurai (when it comes out on the 25th July)
Also it's funny that Ben mentioned Chuck Norris and Segata Sanshiro when he did because a few seconds earlier in the fight, you can see them in the stars in the background
"don't bring your A game, but bring any game" that's a good come back
well its true fate is a god and wont lose to a jackass with messed up hands
Checkout varient comics about how much powerful is kent without the three artifacts and his backstory
Merilirem Fate is actually a lot more interesting than you'd think, even given his power.
Magnus from Elder Scrolls says hi.
I don't know if you spotted it or not, but at one point, when Strange and Fate dimension hoping, you can see Chuck and Segata's constellation in the background for a few moments before they transport to the final battleground.
5:51 TRYING TO FIGURE OUT THAT SOUNDTRACK FOR A YEAR NOW!!!!!
Magic is cheating ummmm how ohh and also so dr fate is an asshole and strange isnt lol ok ben
"your helmets a god" who do you think was speaking? You know the helmet is what poses the person right?
"Did you miss me?" YES.
ShadowL Drago no
ShadowL Drago YES!
Nah
Soooo.... am I not to surmise that Micah is secretly coffee shop Jesus ninja goat? Because if so.... I’m running as far away as possible.
Can I borrow some of your salt guys?
Y’all are always so fucking salty when DC characters wins. Jesus. They’re just characters and also they’re fictional.
The Chuck v Segata constellation was in the background during their time in space.
Did anyone notice that doctor fate Clothes turn black when he got his helmet back
Please GUYS IM BEGGING U PLEASE WATCH RYU VS JIN IT WILL BE WORTH WATCHING TWO DEATH BATTLES FOR THAT MATCHES ENDING U WONT BE SORRY TRUST ME
Tbh I think it would be a cool video if you guys asked for roasts, had someone pick out the best ones, and reacted to those. No idea if you've already done it.
Did anyone bring up doctor strangers ability to merge with eternity? That’s one of strangers most powerful tricks.
Anyone else notice the Chuck Norris constellation fighting in the background?
"THIS GUY CAN USE SUPERNOVAS AS WEAPONS" - So can Diablo with the 《White Nova》Spell
When he says: "I Am A God"
That's Nabu speaking (The Helmet Can Talk On It's Own)
I know this is an old video, but every time I here a dislike about Superman it’s almost about his powers, and not his character, power ignores his character an complain about his powers, an I’m pretty sure a lot of the hate/ criticism started with death battle, at least with newer people, old people probably remember the older not so well written comics that just gave him new powers an that’s it, but they also ignore some of Superman’s best story’s and there for miss the good,
Also for the new people all they get for movies is a mood Superman who’s adopted father said, maybe you shouldn’t have saved those kids on the bus
I love how they all have that one leg ontop of each other pose 🤣 love these guys
I think nate thinks that DC is lazy written. The best written superhero is Batman a man with no powers who deafets gods
"If you're born with eyebrows like Strange, you're gonna grow up to become a wizard."
Unless your name is Roger Smith. Then you become a negotiator.
Blue Beetle is Jaime Reyes who a symbiotic Iron Man suit.
I get what Ben means about Fate. Both Tony Stark and Dr. Fate have large egos but its still possible to check Tony's ego whereas there is nobody who can do that for Fate.
Lol Fate is a GOD.
Stark is a man.
Fates ego is deserved. Stark is an A hole.
25:35 Well... they actually did, around 20 seconds before lol
I can feel the hatred towards Dr. Fate here.
26:38 literally said she’s in the helmet
ok so they kept mis-pronouncing the current Blue Beetle's name as he's Hispanic so it's not Jaime Reyes it's pronounced Haimie Reyes not Jaime reyes
Reaction starts at 3:38
Naruto vs. Ichigo, please?
Ben is a straight up savage now that he's back. He always was but I missed it. Welcome back Ben!
grimlock1992 Um, well he and Elaina broke up and he was kind of going through some stuff I guess. He's been having a rough time.
Can you guys react to any videos from DashieXP. He's a really funny youtuber.
Keel Loker I second this!
nah
Have you guys thought of reacting to A Fox in Space? What I find funny is that the final dimension/place in this vid was they were on top of the back of Shenron from DBZ.
the salt is real
Don't worry guys its not what's on the outside that we hate about you, its what's on the inside that we can't stand.
Doctor fate looks so cool.
I do know that a lot of different doctor strange would absolutely try to put on Dr Fate's helm
So now that Ben's back, is Twilight Sparkle vs Raven in our future?
If you guys haven’t already seen it, you should react to Young Justice.
Man they talked here that fate is a asshole , but if you search in the comics strange is a Bigger asshole , he is arrogant as heck , in some fate versions he's controlled by the helmet , so some versions of him aren't really asshole
"Keep it up for too long and it could destroy all three of them."
Kinda like this channel.
Blue Beetles artifacts are Alien though, not mystic
I think you should watch the next one next.
They did reference Norris vs. Sanshiro
Ben = Salt Grinder at a steak house.
How awkward this goes, I miss this.
Chuck and Segata were in the background.
"Strange is a better written character" Nabu has never really bragged about anything, Doctor Fate is an incredibly well written character and I don't really see how he is an asshole
Now I can't wait for the Ryu vs Kin. Lets see who they side with.
