  • www.avilasterli... This is the first part of a very interesting interview to Luis Villarreal R. grandson of Melesio Rodriguez Villalba, former Margot de Taxco silversmith and head of the production department for this well known workshop. He is still making this classic silver jewelry and teaching a newer generations to work in the "old Taxco" style. Luis gives us a nice insight of what Mexican silver jewelry means for him, his family and how the world, through the years, keeps looking for this unique and artistic work that only Taxco silver jewelry and his creators can offer.
