Extremely high-end automation machinery combined with manual craftmanship is very satisfying but these products must surely be some of the most expensive on the market.

0:41 A6063 is Aluminium alloy 6063, a medium strength alloy of 97.5% Aluminium, 0.45% Magnesium, and 0.20% Silicon. It has a good surface finish and high corrosion resistance.

Actually the percentage of aluminum varies between 97.5 and 99.35%.
Magnesium between .45 and .90%.
Silicon between .2 and .6%.
It's also highly weldable and has varying tensile strengths.

I was surprised to be almost of process is hand making!
After having seen a large number of these kinds of videos, even if I hadn't read the title or seen the language of the text on parts etc. in the video, it would be INSTANTLY obvious this wasn't a factory in China (let alone a ramshackle Indian operation with all the workers in flip-flops and working on the floor). The exquisite and *extreme* attention to detail, the carefulness in handling the product, the cleanliness and highly orderly nature of the facilities, the meticulous quality control (thermal infrared imaging of final product to ensure even heat dissipation) even the overall relatively low ambient noise level of most of the workspace (I can hear sounds like gloves brushing against packaging) all point to one self-evident conclusion: Japanese culture of quality - "Kaizen".

If this really is the manufacturing process of these LED-lights, they must be pretty darn expensive.
ty for the video. i was surprised how much manual labor is involved, i guess they dont produce high amounts of each type of lighting or there would be more automation. and the production machines are very slow compared to what i am used to especialy the milling. the turning would be done in a machine where the material is automaticaly loaded through the turning spindle. so depending on the quantity produced, there is a lot of room for optimizing. im sorry, dont want to criticize, just that i was constantly involved in improving processes in production that makes me wonder why.
As you say, volume is probably too low to go for full automation.

Na verdade eles não produzem o led e sim a carcaça e driver que os alimentam. Os leds são produzidos do mesmo jeito que se produz processadores, memórias e outros semicondutores.
Uma coisa interessante é que não existe led branco. Na verdade a cor que ele emite é azul mas possui uma capa ou máscara amarela que junto da luz azul do led faz ela dair Branca.
Eu acho que é mais jeito manual de fazer as coisas mesmo. Eu duvido muito que uma fábrica em série chinesa não seja tudo na base do robô. Nota-se também o cuidado que os japoneses têm na fabricação das coisas. Eu acho muito mais bem feito um produto assim, doque aqueles que saem em série aos milhões.

Вот уже который раз отмечаю сочетание высокотехнологичного оборудования и ручного труда. И видимо это оправдано если судить по результату - отличному как всегда.
Скорее всего, это или государственная социальная политика, или это НЕ массовое производство. Японцы целые автомобили собирают на автоматических конвейерах, а тут вдруг столько ручной работы на изготовлении светодиодных ламп. Так что из двух одно: или борьба с безработицей, или элитное производство.

@@user-mg5rm9gb5z видимо мода быстро меняется а спрос не такой уж большой. Строить автоматическую линию, которая будет выплевывать их тысячами видимо не выгодно. Не факт, что это работают японцы. Они берут всяких практикантов итд . Видно, что операции простые и их любой выполнит.

This factory really needs to look into a better machining floor layout. One mill-lathe with an automatic bar-feed is a single process cell that could entirely replace three stations of their current sequence.
I suspect that these are limited runs. It probably doesn't make sense to optimize with a y-axis lathe.
@@moki123g it's not like they couldn't still improve by batching on a y-axis lathe. Lots of those parts are just milled rounds. A few of them might need a second spindle if you wanted to run them lights out like a cool kid, but it's not like you have to do the whole thing like that. Even bar feeding the existing lathe would be a notable improvement.
I'm thinking about changing the headlight of my car. Very good timing lol.

Tek bir eksiği var bilmiyorum belkide test yapılıyodur videoda göstermemişlerdir bi far aynasına takıp karşıya yansıması nasıl bakmıyorlar yap takıştır gönder gibi geldi özellikle h4 lerin bu teste sokulması lazım uzunlar kısalara göre %50 zayıf kalıyor genelinde birde h4 lerde başlığında uzunlar bi yönde kısalar diğer yönünde olsa daha iyi olur bence dik duruyo montajında ve gereksız işe yaramaz bi şapka var bence h4 ler biraz sıkıntılı

При такой кропотливой, я бы даже сказал вальяжной сборке - боюсь представить сколько такие лампы будут стоить. Но т.к. это сделано в Японии, то скорее всего лампы крутые.

До Опеля был ВАЗ2105 80-го года. Когда продавал, ему уже было 30 лет. За машиной следил и она была в очень неплохом состоянии. Кстати и продпл недёшево. Так что вот так. Тойоты тут и рядом не стояли.

At 9:45 they use digital microscope for inspection. Does someone recognize the model and brand? Video that they get is of good quality and high frame rate, I would need something like that for my electric work.
