✔️ Europeans’ First Time in America - Biggest Culture Shocks! - European Reacts - Reaction For the First Time
It is not that we love the flag, though we do, but rather we love what it represents: our country, the land and our fellow citizens.
Exactly, we love and respect our flag for what it represents, all those who gave their lives so we can live free and prosper in this beautiful country.
It also represents the freedom our fellow Americans fought and died for, our convictions and the extent to which we're willing to fight for them, as well as our general values and our love for our people. It feels a bit brainwashy but goddamn do I get choked up when I hear the national anthem and see a bunch of us paying respect to the flag, it's just heartwarming to see us love our country, its men&women, and the things we hold dear. It's true unity, even though we don't have that unity in other parts of our culture. Americans (true Americans, at least, and I'd dare say most Americans) love America.
That house is being fumigated. It either has termites or another bug problem. The house can be tented and sealed, then they spray the inside with some sort of insecticide. It doesn't happen very often but it is effective. The people and pets leave for a 24hr period. Gas and electricity is turned off at this time.....
bed bugs. too. I agree. I've lived in the US for all my 63 years. I've seen three houses tented in that time
Yes, but I have seen people gift wrap houses.
There a scene in the TV series Breaking Bad, where the meth making team needs a new place to make their product, and before they locate their next permanent lab location they pretend to be a bug extermination company. The rationale being that no one will bother them while the house is being "fumigated", nor will they question the smell of noxious chemicals.
Black mold gets tented, too. Keeps the spores from spreading
So do meth labs...
Since the U. S. Is a country based on an idea not on one ethnic group or religion, the flag is very important. It symbolizes how all of us belong no matter our background or religious beliefs if any. The flag unites us as a country.
This couple is so sweet and wholesome! Just like you, Andre ❤ 🇺🇸 🇵🇹
They were not selling beer in a gas station, they were selling gas in a beer station.
hahaha
Very funny😂
I live in an interstate truck stop town and a piece of advice: don't ever go to the closest gas stations to the highway. Always higher priced than even less than a mile away.
I guess there's apps for that, now, but it was the 90s. They probably could have gotten it even cheaper driving a minute longer.
When they said they drove from Ottawa to Orlando, Florida (1,408miles/2,266 km) that is similar to driving from Lisbon to Amsterdam (1,388miles/2,235km). I've done long drives like it and it can definitely be fun because you can see sites along the way and experience things that you can't if you flew.
Can be fun, but I had to move from Arizona to Massachusetts in High School and it was not fun on a schedule. Still don't love driving to this day.
Price of gas is as usually dependent upon state taxes. Some states charge a lot some don’t.
Regulations also play a role. California, for example, has sticter regulations and guidelines that pretty much results in a unique blend just for the state, which ads to the cost.
Proximity to refineries has some impact as well.
Why would someone complain about having someone wait on you hand and foot. It’s one of the best things about the U.S. We love having our orders taken in a timely manner, we like being able to make special requests, have items made to our specific taste, not having to wait for water or drinks to arrive before our meals, not to have to eat food that sat on a counter to get cold because the staff was apathetic about their jobs, receiving more than enough for most meals, getting to-go bags, wait staff that service the table throughout the meal to ask if you need or want anything. Etc, etc.
Dining out is suppose to be pleasant and relaxing. American eateries for the most part make that experience happen. And, we usually don’t have to wait an hour for a disinterested lazy staff member to bring our checks to us. Thank you to all restaurant staff who work diligently to make our dining experiences stress free, enjoyable, who put a smile on their face when their feet, legs hurt, are having a bad day, personal issues, etc. And, those that like to chat up their guests for a few minutes of fun and laughter which generally Americans enjoy. It’s much appreciated!
Foreigner’s that don’t enjoy or complain about our dining culture are fine. They can do it their way. We will continue to do it in a more cordial, pleasant, relaxing, atmosphere. 😁
It's why tipping at restaurants has been so successful. Most like to pay (and reward) for good service. I guess our culture may be changing, though, with all the low wage talk (or I'm watching too many European Reacts videos). Servers used to make good money, and if they were in a restaurant that wasn't producing the customer base to make the tips they want, they'd move along to another restaurant. My friends that worked in restaurants were "rich" compared to me, and many had their days free if they wanted, and they were easily able to switch shifts with people when they wanted to go do fun stuff...seemed pretty glamorous...oh, and there were always hot girls around.
Agree 100%
It's probably just a culture shock for them. Some things we have grown up with, so they just make sense to us. It's hard to wrap your brain around a concept that is foreign. I am sure most could be won over by the experience if they lived in the USA for several years.
Dining in Europe is a very relaxing experience. You can actually take your time and enjoy our meal, sometimes for a couple of hours. American restaurants want you in and out as quick as possible so they can seat more tables and servers can get more tips.
@@Nanasays0731 That is not the case at all. If they were rushing their customers out they wouldn't make a tip lol. That doesn't even make any sense.
I'm so happy to see people who don't prejudge us, but come to enjoy themselves and take us as we are. The flags show that even tho we may fight like rabid monkeys among ourselves, we will turn on an external enemy like a pack of rabid wolves.
Here in Michigan, I’ve never seen a fumigation tent. But the only termite problems I’ve heard of were on the sites of old lumber yards. Winter has its benefits.
The decaying parts of Detroit are rotten with em.
This couple is adorable
I really enjoyed hearing from this couple.
Avoid trying to go to too many places. It is easy to spend your whole vacation en-route. Pick an area and thoroughly examine it.
I'm guessing the house wrap was for termites 😂
Or some kind of vermin.
Or bedbugs.
Maybe, bed bugs.
SOMETIMES THOSE LITTLE BABIES GET COLD.I'M NOT SURE BUT I THINK THAT MIGHT HAVE SOMETHING TOODOOO WITH THAT LBGTermite THING. I DON'T NOOO REALLY.
The house was wrapped because of formosan termites..
Congratulations on 100K, Andre!🎉🎈🥳
Outlet malls in the US are amazing. Here in Williamsburg VA we have outlet Malls and the prices are really good.
Beer in gas stations varies state by state. Each state has its own liquor laws. They are generally becoming more permissive. When I was a kid, alcohol in Pennsylvania wasn't sold in supermarkets but only through distributors or state stores. They recently passed a law to allow beer sales in markets. When I was in college in Tennessee, the county where the college was located was dry. They didn't sell alcohol outside private clubs. Now, beer and wine is the markets. When I started grad school in Texas in the late 80's, they sold beer and wine in groceries and had drive through bars, that could serve passengers. It was a shock for me. Now there are much stricter container laws in Texas.
In my state not only can you buy beer at convince stores but you can buy cold beer. Supermarkets have to sell it room temp but liquor stores and convince stores get to sell it ready to drink.
Texas has a drive thru daiquiri stand in Harker Heights. Like 60 flavors of frozen alcoholic beverages. They tape up the lid.
Myrtle Beach is a resort on the coast of South Carolina. Many Canadians come there in the winter. There are many golf courses, shops, restaurants and the beaches.
.
@@TheLadyniebur Yes. When I was in grad school in Houston there was one on Kirby Dr. Right near the university.
I grew up in a state with state stores and pretty strict container laws. You couldn't have any containers -- open or closed -- in the passenger compartment. I'm not a drinker, but I buy a bottle of rum and a bottle of brandy every Christmas for making fruit cakes and Christmas puddings. I not live in Texas, but I still lock it in the trunk, rather than put it in the back seat, lol.
Canada is MUCH MORE expensive than the USA. All my relatives live there and we compare prices all the time. Thanks Andre!
"Gas Stations" aren't like they used to be. Now you get gas at 'Convenience' stores, where you can get gas as well as groceries and all sorts of things that the old gas stations never had.
Yeah they had beer at most gas stations unless it was really small back in the 90’s.
True. Although in some places, you can't. Here in North Dakota, we do not sell any alcohol in grocery stores or gas stations, but you almost can. Many places have a divided building attached with a separate entrance to a liquor store right there. I think it's probably really good for the liquor stores, as the gas station or grocery stores aren't getting the profits from selling their particular products.
You could buy food and gas at the gas stations in the 70s and 80s. Not new at all.
@@mikecarew8329 not everywhere, surprisingly. My home state, yes, but where I live now in North Dakota, it's not allowed.
@@PrairieMuffin everyone flies over the Dakotas anyway. 😉
i used to live in Florida. I was told there were types of houses there: those who already had termites and those who were going to have them. Termites are in a lot of humid climates.
. We lived in our house in Miami for 24 years and had tent the house once in that time. You might look at Northern Australia, they have very big and I mean very big termite mounds there
Don't termites look like large, translucent, pi$$ed off ants? 😊
I love your videos and your enthusiasm for everything American. You make my day 😘. I hope you are not disappointed when you finally get here. There are good and bad areas and people.
7! Walmart Greeter is an actual job title - they pay people to stand by the door and greet people. Sometimes they will hire disabled people or people who might have trouble doing a more labor intensive job to do it too, so that's nice. And yes, alligators love golf courses! They often feature these small ponds called "water challenges" and have big, grassy areas to bask on, so there are a lot of alligators on golf courses in America. They won't bother you though unless you try to go into one of the ponds! Which si why you should leave your golf ball there if it falls into a water trap in America...
I like this couple. They are mature with their comments about the USA. Please react to some of their other videos if they have some you like. I really like your videos.
The price of gas does vary quite a bit from state to state, but it really has more to do with taxes, and access to refineries, than oil production. Texas does have the cheapest gas, currently at $2.69 per US gallon, while California is the most expensive at $4.70 per US gallon. This converts to 0.69 Euros and 1.12 Euros per litre.
This has to be an old video
@@Curlz891 It says October 2019 on the gas price photo at 2.27
As of 9/14/2024 reg. gas is 3.29/gal. in mid Michigan.
California gas is also refined more and none of those refineries are in California. In fact one is in Canada.
Golf is wonderful. You are outside, walking with your friends for hours, drinking beer and having fun. It is a one-day vacation.
We keep our flags close to our hearts and display them proudly! I still have the American flag that my grandpa brought home with him from WWII
I've got to say it. We are friendly and polite because we love our lives and our fellow man.
I live ON the Canadian border in Maine and I can state factually there are whole businesses here based on people coming over from Canada for lower prices.
The wrapped house was probably being treated for a bedbug infestation. A whole house treatment is one of the few ways to eradicate the pests.
Also treat termites.
It's still less expensive 😊than Europe.
So they also wrap houses for lead or asbestos removal?
Not bed bugs.. that's silly..
Bedbugs are easier to deal with than their reputation suggests. You definitely don't need to fumigate for them.
However, there are various other insect pests that do require it, most famously roaches. Termites are also a possibility.
Bus trips can be fun but they are mostly destination trips. These are not for your first visit to America. You will on the bus for hours and hours and hours. If you see something interesting along the side of the road you won’t be able to pull over and check it out. You won’t be able to stop and just walk around to stretch your legs. If you are not used to being in a vehicle for hours at a time you will be exhausted and just want to sleep. And the number 1 reason is the toilet is disgusting and gets worse the longer you are on the bus. I hope you have a great trip, decide what you want to focus on and don’t spend a lot of time traveling. My opinion is that cities are cities whenever you go. Visit the world in the fly-over states.
We don’t have many gas stations that are just selling gas. They sell hot or cold ready to eat food, candy, snacks, sodas, bottles of water, souvenirs etc. In places like Buc-ees, they sell ready made sandwiches, candy, salads, jerky…..it’s soooooooo good
I love Wal-Mart. They have great birthday cakes.
Some states, particularly Louisiana has drive throughs for alcohol. You can get daiquiris with high alcohol content handed to you with a straw without leaving your car. Also most every gas station has a beer cave that you walk in and pick out you're favorite 12 pack of beer. Practically all gas stations have beer. In Louisiana all gas stations also have spirits (whiskey, Bourbon).
Golf- I have a part time job at a golf course (I work there for tree golf) . And yes we have alligators on the course.
Lastly Americans are not fake when they talk to strangers. It's the culture. I strike up conversations with complete strangers every day. We aren't trying to be fake.
Let's be clear about the alligators. That's in the swampy parts of the southeastern states - within 50-100 miles of the Gulf Coast or the southern Atlantic coast. The rest of the country is gator-free, even at golf courses.
Drive throughs for alcohol?!! 😯 Tell me it isn't so!
I thought an open container of alcohol in a car was illegal everywhere, that's crazy!
@@TacomaGirlKellyYes it is still illegal to drink and drive. You can pick up the alcohol at a drive through, but it’s sealed. Now I still think it’s incredible dangerous and stupid that they allow it, b/c what’s really stopping someone.
@@TacomaGirlKelly The Daquiri shops in Louisiana hand you the Daquiri with the straw in the drink but the top half of the straw still has the paper wrapper on it. Legally that still makes it unopened lol.
Thanks!
Ty so much 🙏
Outlet Malls. Manufacturers operate shops where they sell their merchandise at discount prices.
Such a cute couple! I love that they were pleasantly surprised by all things US. No 7. :)
I lived in Alberta in the '90s and it was more expensive and less choices in the stores. I was surprised how expensive the gas was. It's very controlled pricing there. The price was the same from station to station. Going to the restaurants... the wait staff seemed ticked off or bothered. I do love the Canadians though. Sweetest people around!
Remember that driving across Texas takes quite a bit of time. It's usually 1.5 days. Then you still need to cross New Mexico and Arizona before you get to California. ;)
Each state has different laws about selling alcohol. In the state of New Jersey, alcohol is only sold in "Liquor stores" or supermarkets that have a separate liquor department away from the rest of the store. It is not sold there in convenience stores or gas stations. Some counties in America, particularly in the Southern "Bible Belt" have counties where the sale of alcohol is completely illegal. And some states prohibit sales on Sundays.
I really enjoy your reactions. I’m not surprised you’ve hit 100,000. Congratulations!!!
gas prices tend to be higher further west because the refineries are not there
They went in March. That's spring not summer. Summer is May/June - Sept/Oct. They also took that 1st trip they were talking about in the 90's.
I'm in Canada a lot. It's all relative. We pay less for some things but then there is healthcare. Canada's great. I could easily live there and feel right at home.
The building wrap is a pest control system. The house was sealed so that it could be fumigated. It's flooded with poison that will harm the pests (usually bedbugs, termites, or certain kinds of roaches), but sometimes it has a side-effect of destroying the oxygen inside the home because some critters can survive just about any commercially available poison. So if the poison doesn't snuff them out, they'll die of suffocation. Got to keep the fresh air out, the bad air and the bugs themselves in.
Wait until they realize we have Drive Thru's in Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, that sell Beer and Liquor to your drivers side Window 😋😅
OMG! Now that is going way too far! I have to say it. That's just wrong.
We had one in my area, but they closed, I'm thinking due to c*v*d
@@JeanStAubin-nl9uoit’s great during the winter!
Pay attention, this is VERY old. WE, AMERICA, is STILL WONDERFUL, but NOT as inexpensive as this Sweet Couple found us.
They're talking about trips they took 30 years ago.
I usually find people still find the US inexpensive. You have to compare average salaries of each country with average prices of each country. When you do that the US often comes off on the cheaper side.
Yeah, I believe they said in the beginning they moved from UK to Canada in '92, and that was their first road trip
@@jjbud3124A lot of visitors don’t know where to get good prices, and end up shopping in the most expensive way possible. Like when Kabir was shocked by the price of cold cuts in a little convenience store right by the entrance to Yosemite Park, and concluded that cold cuts are really expensive in America.
It depends where you live in the USA.
The cost to play golf can vary greatly. So there are golf courses/clubs that cater to many different segments of society, from the very wealthy to the more modest.
I believe right now Canada's dollar is only worth about $0.73 in the states. Odd, everyone always talks that the only reason wait staff is friendly and attentive is because they want a tip, sure they do, everyone wants paid for their job but most Americans are friendly and helpful anyway. Of course they have bad days, who doesn't, but even people who don't get tips are friendly and helpful. How would you explain that if it wasn't normal? Yes we do sell beer at the gas station but we also have open container laws, if there's an open container within reach of the driver that can get you arrested. My favorite is we sell milk, icecream and pizza at the pharmacy. You can go in the pharmacy anytime and buy whatever and not even go near where the pharmacists fill your prescriptions. (unless that was the original reason for going there). Anyway, have fun, life's too short.
Things are a lot different now than when they were here. I think they said they were here in the '80s and '90s?. Certain parts of the US people are patriotic, but there are also people who burn the American flag and they protest and they hate America, but for the most part, people are patriotic and love America. We sure do!! Also, the prices on everything have gone way up in the last four years.
Gas in my state is about $2.56/gal right now. It's probably cheaper than that in the larger cities in my state. The price has dropped significantly since it's now getting closer to the election so that certain current politicians can brag how low the gas prices are... after several years of budget-crushing gas prices.
Every Walmart has "greeters". But they arent there just to say "hi". They are part of the store's security team.
Prices are cheaper because the US sold a lot of its reserve for a high price causing the world market to crash and then bought it back replenishing the reserve at a much lower price and profited millions of dollars. That was last year or the year before I think. It would have lowered prices all over the world and taught OPEC a good lesson.
Currently in San Antonio gas is about $2.50 to $2.75 per gallon. California also has gas refineries but gas there is about two to three dollars more expensive depending where you are
$4.59/ gallon today in San Diego
Yeah, it's pretty stupid. Hate it.
Gas prices vary by state and even within a state. Yes oil producing states can be lower but state taxes and state environmental regs often play as big or a bigger part in prices. The three lowest avg prices for regular gas right now is Mississippi the lowest ($2.749 a US gallon), then Tennessee ($2.758) the 2nd lowest and Texas the 3rd lowest ($2.759). The highest three are California ($4.769), then Hawaii ($4.635), then Washington state ($4.152). But I can tell you the closest gas station to us in a Seattle suburb is $4.59 right now. I’m old enough to remember gas being under a buck a gallon when I first started driving in 1992.
Very nice people and sensible thoughts but I can’t fathom driving or bussing from Canada to Florida or the Carolinas rather than flying!!
I've been to Myrtle Beach in like 1993. It was the best time of my life.
Canada's housing market is absolutely terrible these days. It's more expensive and you earn less and the exchange rate for Canadians isn't good.
Loving you reacting to these two lovely couple.👍 The experience & excitement they have experienced visiting America is to the point. I’m glad they both found their visit a positive one. Yes…you can go on bus trips to any destination you choose. My cousin that lives in Canada crosses the border to the US just to shop for everything they need since it’s way cheaper here. Clearance & sale items at end of the season are a fun way to shop since it’s drastically reduced. Yes Andre, you can find coupons for fast food restaurants for a discounted price. They mail it to me every week.
It WASNT 60°f in South Carolina in the summer!!!
I have played golf many times and have played in charity golf tournaments.
The trip they were talking about was in March during a school break. That sounds like typical weather at Myrtle Beach at that time of year.
You remember what the temperature was in 1992? Plus it was March.
They didn't say it was summer for South Carolina. It was a nice summer day by UK standards.
The UK is farther north and just like in the US people up north think it is shorts and t-shirt weather while people in the south are acting like it is sub-0
60 is even cold for here in SC in March. I live in Myrtle Beach and sure we do have days where its only around 60 in March but that is below average. The last few years have been weird though hot in Feb then cool off in March. It was 70s and 80s most of Feb this year and it did drop to the 60s for the first couple weeks of March.
Alligators are only found where it stays relatively warm. They can't take hard winters. Gas is more expensive on the west coast. My brother who lives out there said they get it from a different supplier. Also taxes are higher (tax is added at the pump). I'm in Texas and it's not the cheapest, $2.69/gallon today.
If you want to compare the relative size of the USA, driving from New York city to Los Angeles is about the same as driving from Lisbon, Portugal to Moscow.
Yes, it is more expensive in Canada.
Great show, thanks.
$2.38 in Texas for a gallon. $3.25 in PA.
The wrapped house is being treated for infestation. Most likely, termites.
or bed bugs
-This video was made three years ago.
-Alcohol sales vary by state.
-The wrapped house is being fumigated. Maybe for termites.
-Our gas is cheap compared to most places in the world because it isn't taxed to death. (Except for states like California). Plus, we produce and refine our own oil. The biggest part of European gas prices are your penalizing, exorbitant, manipulative government taxes!!!!
-Some golf courses are municipal/public and set up for the average person to play and afford. Fancy private country club courses are where the money is, and the rich people play.
-These two are downright sleepy. They've been holed up in Canada too long .
-I'm in N Minnesota and we get a TON of Canadian shoppers down here. Their dollar isn't worth much against the American dollar, but our prices are much lower, and the selection/variety is much better in the U.S.
-I hate shopping, so outlet malls have zero appeal for me. And really, their decent stuff isn't all that cheap. It's mostly clothes, and how many clothes does anybody need.
-Fast food isn't cheap anymore thanks to Biden and the Democrats.
-I fly the flag every day in my front yard on a 20 foot pole because I am a proud American, and my dad, a Korean War Vet, always did the same at his house.
Recommendations really depend on your budget. We can recommend mom & pop motels or expensive downtown hotels, fast food restaurants, moderately priced family restaurants, or expensive restaurants in city centers, etc.
Myrtle Beach is where I am from we have the Can Am days every spring tons of Canadians
This couple is so darn cute 😊❤!
You liked the couple’s calm way of speaking. I think you have a calm way of speaking.
There are liquor stores here in the US that have a drive-through windows.

I proudly fly the U.S flag and my state flag. The cheapest gas (1/2 mile away) is $2.70/gal. for regular grade.
When I was in high school my friend worked at a ShopRite and would sell us all the beer we needed for parties. This was back in the early 80's.
The biggest cost factor in gasoline is all the taxes added to the price.
I think every people should be proud of their country and should fly their flag on their businesses and homes. There are many countries with rich, proud histories... be proud of that!
I can relate to a lot of this. Many years ago I golfed in South Carolina and there could be seen big gators about 50 feet from the golf course and on the course. I see she's wearing a Daytona Beach Shores T-shirt, where my parents retired and I live about an hour and a half away. Plenty of things to do in this area. Many Europeans come to Orlando's outlet malls for the deals, which amaze me. It's not like it's a short trip across the Atlantic.
In Louisiana there are many gas stations/ truck stops that sell liquor as well. Some states even have drive thru “beer barns” or daiquiri shops where you can buy alcohol from your car as long as it’s sealed and not consumed in the vehicle.
oil prices in the usa have more to do with the federal, state, and municipal taxes. these are such a major part of the price and its by percentage so when the gas price goes up, so do the taxes.
Yes we have small stores at gas stations. You can buy beer. It is illegal to have an open container in a car.
What about the person in Louisiana that just commented that they have drive-through liquor places. You can have your favorite daiquiris served up to you with a straw. Can't beleive I just read that. And I thought Wisconsin had a huge drunk driving problem. I'm staying away from Louisiana. 😟
Gas stations usually have an associated convenience store for travelers. Beer , but of course .
I live in Ft. Worth, TX. I filled up 24 hours ago and it was 2.69 per gallon. That's just a tad under .73 cents per liter.
So cheap! Amazing
Wow! That is great! Its $2.87 a gallon at my station here in S.E. Florida today!

South Carolina usually has some of the cheapest gas in the US, although with inflation that is little comfort to most people today. They seem to be talking about an America that is becoming more and more a distant memory.
For #6 they are saying Outlet Malls
The price changes in a city as well..from the east side to the west side is a different price per gallon not just between states.
My job before it closed last week was $2.79 a gallon. Which was cheaper than the station 100ft away. Theirs was $2.95 a gallon.
What a lovely couple, I enjoyed watching them with you 😊
Our states, especially the western states, are bigger than most countries in Western Europe. It was strange to me how I was able to travel through 4 Western European countries in the same amount of time it takes me to drive through one state in the U.S.
Golf is played by many/most people. There's also miniature golf that everyone plays. We also play in our backyards volleyball, soccer, baseball, basketball.
Outlet malls. They are designer stores, like Dolce and Gabana, or Kate Spade, Gucci etc. who sell their items and a hugely reduced price. You can get things you could never afford normally. Almost every state has them. When you come you should find one and go shopping.
we drove from Ohio to Portland, OR. It took over 5 days and we didn't make any extra stops for sightseeing and that was one way!
Abdre Myrtle Beach is 50 minutes from my house, this is what i told you to look at top ten family vacation spot in the world
Gas prices vary across the country. Some of it is because each state applies taxes to gas purchases that vary from one state to another. Some of it may be because of laws they have in place that drive up the price of gas. Typically gas is more expensive in larger cities and California.
What a very cool couple. Definitely gonna have to check their channel out as well.
I love ur appreciation for our country. U are brotha for sure
I once had a professor from Germany that told us her students that when she was a young student, she had told her mother that she was going to drive from New York to Los Angeles in her car. Her mother apparently didn't think much of that until she caught a few hours later and said what are you doing? That's further than driving from Paris to Moscow!
Portugal is about 1.5 times smaller than Florida. Florida is approximately 139,670 sq km, while Portugal is approximately 92,090 sq km, making Portugal 65.93% the size of Florida.
The price of gas in the US can vary by state depending on the taxes charged on each gallon.
Outlet Malls sell surplus from stores closing or overstock leftover because of seasons.
That house was not wrapped as a gift
It was tinted to be treated for termites
They clarified that in the video!
I live on the Southern Oregon coast. Gas here is $3.86 a gallon for regular. $3.96 if you use a credit card or debit card to pay.
It should be said, you can’t get beer in gas stations in all states. Some states have stricter rules about where and when alcohol can be sold.
Beer is sold at some drive through windows here, so a gas station is just normal to us. I use to drive a beer truck from a company called Eagle Distributing, which sold Anheuser Busch products so Budweiser, in East Tennessee during the 90’s. I had stores that seriously had drive through windows that sold beer, bars, grocery stores, bars, veterans clubs, biker bars, strip clubs, golf courses, ski slopes, camp grounds, and floating stores on the lake. So, beer is pretty much everywhere as long as the area isn’t a “dry” area.
Oh, Myrtle Beach is great, use to be awesome but now it’s a bit busier than it ever was before. I much prefer either North Myrtle Beach, obviously to the north, or Garden City, to the south. Another great little place, with a very…uh…explosive atmosphere, Tybee Island, Georgia, (look broken arrow and the name of the city if you don’t know). Then again, do the same thing for broken arrow Florence South Carolina, which is close to Myrtle Beach.
They are public golf courses here as well as private clubs. It used to be a game for the rich, but it’s becoming less so. People get into it because rich people are known to play so it will help them in business.
the laws for alcohol sales vary from state to state. In many states, beer and wine can be sold in convenience stores and supermarkets. In other states, sales of alcoholic beverages are restricted to stores that have a license to sell alcohol.
Andre it would be a 22 hour drive from Houston Tx to Los Angeles Ca. It would also be a 22 hour drive drive from Lisbon to Munich.
It is approx 2400 KM or 1500 miles.
