All my kids have been listening to these tunes for years and I’ve turned each and everyone of them into a massive fans. They have all seen them live now. I’m so proud keep it going guys ❤️
Was just thinking if ever a band was needed today.it is they.the the millennials could learn a lot from listening to this band.loved them back then and still listening to this day helps me to remember who I am and wot I stand for
After loving them SOLID for fifteen years from afar, I finally got to see them on Sept 30 2016. They played the Opera House in Toronto. My son and I flew there from Winnipeg and spent the night. We returned home the next day. It was such an amazing show and time! We met Mark on the sidewalk after the show. I got a photo of him and I swapping hats. I love this band and all of their music, sooooooo much!
This is the first time I ever heard of them. I had just finished a drawing and a fan of the Levellers said that my art has the same feel as some of the CD covers, so I took a look, I was honored by the comparison and then I was curios of the music and this is the first song I heard by the band and it's fucking AWESOME! I'm a fan! Greetings from California!

I rememmber you lot turning up in your bus at our ASHCoop whenever Strawberry Fair was on and spent many years in the 90's working with Tim Porter (who installed the sound system in your bus) on various gigs (including a NYE Raindance rave with Simon).
You were a guiding light to many of us here in Cambridge and Glastonbury back then. Have you now given up and 'sold out' to the corporatist music sources? No wonder the post-Thatcher UK is still fecked! :-(

So thankful for 21st century Levellers. Loved em since the early 90s. I'm out in California by Tahoe. Not a big fan base here. I fear I will go my whole life without ever seeing them live. Please come to SF and thanks for the great new tunes (even though this is last year, Well done! More please)

I understand where you're coming from. I like a lot of North American bands/artists that are always doing some shows somewhere, but they only make it to Europe once every few years, if at all. If they do, I'll probably end up only finding out about the shows after the actual event. That's happened to me many times with Canadian band Propagandhi. Rarely record, rarely tour overseas, find out several months after the event. Damn annoying.
And Levellers were in part responsible for who grew into. They were pretty big in England when I was at school in the early 90s, and I say I was lucky to have had the chance to see them then. I think I was maybe 12 at the time. It was a good show, although I remember having a killer headache. I saw them again much later, around the time Hello Pig came out. Wasn't too crazy about that album, but I've been rediscovering them recently. And the last album seems to be a kick ass as Levelling the Land, S/T, and Zeitgeist.
How did you get to know about them?
You don't find too much of a fanbase in Hungary either, but luckily they come over in, say, every 5 years :)
I flew to the UK and other countries to see them a few times...awesome shows....
I'm in Stockton California i've been a Levellers fan since the 90's too. I think i've met maybe three people that had ever heard of them in my area. Oh but I play their music whenever I can and turn as many people as I can on to them.
Since this is now the 25th anniversary of Levelling The Land and they are touring the UK if you've never seen them now would be the time to plan a trip across the pond.
Songs like these.... inspires us here in Greece to continue fighting...Thank you levellers...We will be waiting for you

The chorus cuts SO true! Once again the Levs are not afraid to tell it like it is. The atmosphere at Escot Park this year will be a once in a life time experience, what with all the crap that has happened in the UK this year... and this song will be the fuse that sets the crowd burning. Love this track classic levellers! Ive seen them live a couple of times in the early 90's when iwas a real fan.One time was at the Bic in bourenmouth up stairs in the smaller venue. Barry manilow was playing the main stage down stairs and at one point between songs we were told to shout as load as we could FUCK OFF BARRY!! You know he fuckin heard us!! Love the levellers.Keepin it real.Peace!
