- While Todd was away in California, Frank shows you whats gone out. Of course, Todd has made mischief in TOONTOWN while at Disneyland! PLENTY to go out now that he has returned. First is a beautiful Bally Space Invaders, then a restored CABARET size Atari CENTIPEDE, followed by a Williams ROLLERGAMES Pinball Machine and we end with a Merit Industries Cabaret size MEGATOUCH GOLD going to Canada! Of course, my wife makes an appearance too! ALSO, see the first prototype BATTERY BOARDS that Frank designed!

Such a simple idea on the Space Invaders that brings a lot of detail technology couldn't do yet.

Our local Walmart had the Megatouch game but it wasn't the gold edition. I liked that game.
Great idea with the coin battery board, you could also incorporate a diode to that board and not have to worry about changing the diode on the board, even if it fails.

I'm surprised you're not replacing the CD-ROM with a memory card reader like you've been doing with the hard drive games. Assuming it's a standard IDE or SATA you could plug it in and just rip the .iso image from the CD and dump it to a CF card. I see they have a service bulletin on how to replace the CD-ROM with a hard drive: legacy.megatouch.com/support/bulletins/pdf/TN38.pdf

get a bit of a kick out of the mod video and off to the right is the Williams Games sticker. saying Warranty Void if Removed. wait. lets go call them and find out if that warranty is still active :P missed opportunity :D as for cd rom drive it doesn't take a dvd rom drive IDE? that plays CD Roms. don't know if it's possible just asking..
