This flashlight is fantastic, it has all the features of my favorite flashlights, plus it has an effective tactical UI, versatile beam and tint, enough throw for general use. Right size and weight... All this at an unbeatable price. For the EDC backpack it is perfect and always ready. I think it will be my EDC for a long time. Worthy successor to the FC12.

Yeah, that 2x double press needs to be done slow. Something very unwelcome on what's meant to be a tactical model.
I think it's really the only flaw, I hope it will be fixed soon. The FC12 does not have this bug.
Not necessarily slow, but you do have to make sure it's on for a split second than do the second press. But yeah, it's not very tactical unless you're on 2nd mode.
She doesn't seem that powerful ! I hesitate between the TD 04 and the FC12
Is it possible to use only the sideswitch for on/off and different modes ?
Sadly not. You've got to be a majorette and twirl the TD04 in your hand to turn it off and on.
It's ok for a small flooder. E4k puts it to shame.

Charlie bigdik used glow ring on his 🚀 😂. This light ok but I think it needs a regulated driver or something. 30 seconds of turbo before it drops to 750 lumen is a bit dissapointing.
The steady 725 lumens IS the regulated driver working. If you want more ,try something bigger with 3 batteries or a built in fan.

The TD04 has an unregulated driver, it drops to 480Lumen and it goes down to 240Lumens in 4 hours. Starting it has a nice bright light, but it steps very fast in 3 minutes down getting very hot.
The TD05 has an regulated driver and it holds its 650Lumens for 2 hours. It starts not that bright, but it doesnt get that hot and after these 3 minutes it is brighter than the TD04.
I have both.
Wurkkos should build a bigger TD04 with the 5000k SFT40 and regulated driver from the TD05 for constant 1000 Lumens and call it TD06.

Tail switches are suck🎉😂
I dislike them. Best left for the SAS
Horses for courses. I prefer tail switches.
I mounted it on my bike, so a tail switch is pretty much desirable for me.
