From what ive seen, most people are abit scared of where the story is going but are also slightly excited and willing to give part 2 a try. Those that immediately jump to conclusions and hate on it/ like to gate keep are just a loud minority and mainly stick to Twitter. Atleast thats what ive seen.

Genshin was originally theorized to be "Honkai Impact 4" when MiHoYo were teasing it back then.
No. There is a story reason why it's Honkai Impact 3rd. We had part 1 of story, now we're having part 1.5, and part 2 takes place between part 1.5 and apho, which is another part of Honkai Impact 3rd story. It's still the same game, but instead of following story on Earth and Moon, we're moving to Mars. We will also see characters again, we know that one of the current characters will be part of part 2 from early beginning, so it's also not a whole new cast 😉

Well the story for the main cast in Honkai Impact legit ended months ago so of course their gonna put in whole new characters for the future story

If you weren’t disappointed by the moon arc, you do not know what a good story is and will happily eat any fucking slop this company gives you.
The general consensus is that ever since the end of Elysian Realm the story quality took a nose dive into hell and with Part 2 the game is fully dead. Especially the Chinese fan, who if you are a long time player, you should know have the majority say.

I've played a little bit of Honkai Impact 3rd but hated the graphics and even though the story is great I just prefer to hear RUclips analysis on the stories than play the game, but the graphics update would really get me into it! I'm pretty excited for it
So they're keeping the same apho gameplay for 2 but improving the looks as well as some for the controls. Will expect to just be a 10gb update utmost

@@Zora72954 nah not really for me when I played the new story quest I understood it a bit, apparently Kiana became a god and saved the world and people respect her and those 2 people are her students that are gonna be tutored by her etc

Misinformation too. They are just smart enough to stop when a character story is done and evolve. If you knew what you were talking about you would know that part 2.0 is 3 years prior to APHO. Coralie is the adopted daughter of Einstein, Helia is a Valkyrie of Schicksal, meaning part 1 will come to part 2 at some point and it will be the transition to the events of APHO. Also they said in CN stream that Vita will be the center of the transition to part 2. Inform yourself before spreading nonsense.
A true Honkai lover loves the whole cast and universe, it has nothing to do with trio only. GGZ killed its cast multiple times and changed it a lot overtime and now its starting a brand new Post Honkai disaster story with a full on new cast wirh some old making appearances here and there and nobody is complaining. Just those new Honkai "fans" that look more like twitter user copy pasting bullshit to look cool

if they made a separate game, it would be a slap on the players because everything they saved up would disappear and become useless due to the fact that the old game would simply be abandoned. Also, the idea that many of the dissatisfied people came up with was that no one from part 1 will be there and it all has no connection. You didn't even see the ending of part 1.5 to conclude that there is no connection. Moreover, the developers have already said that there is a connection and all events will give answers and in the end the whole picture will become clear from part 1 to part 2 and APHO. APHO one of the reasons why splitting the games into two different ones just doesn't make sense.

If u wanna walk around for hours and explore a bit but not rly have anything to do for a while outside of farming endlessly to build characters once ur done exploring and caught up with the story play genshin.
If ur fine with not having the open world and a larger focus on combat with faster paced action, a more developed story and characters and more endgame options play HI3rd
Also, genshin has relevant story locked behind limited time events for some stupid reason. Honkai doesnt except for the captainverse events which is a side storyline told exclusively through events but not connected to the main story.
Also, HI3rd is like the only english hoyo game with a skip button if ur really into that, though i guaruntee ur experience will suffer if u dont read the story since they provide context for the amazing animated shorts and is just a really good story. Although it has no english dub and some ppl find its menus confusing as hell, which is what the UI overhaul is supposed to address. But basically, if ur not some hyperactive kid and can sit down and read to enjoy a good story, it should be fine. It starts a bit slow but it gets a lot better once u hit chapter 8, cos by then u know the main cast and what theyre all about

If you got a 5 star lightcone on the standard banner then yes, standard gives both character and lightcone so it resets after you get either one

So this is just a major update to HI3? Quitted HI3 for HSR cos the former was getting too grindy and time-consuming. Don't care for APHO1&2, so not really interested in the lead-in to them.

It's because the streams are made for the Chinese audience and then subtitled for other languages. The gameplay parts of the stream are simply interchangeably replaced between CN, JP, KR, EN etc in editing before the actual stream goes live.
Or do any of you actually expect Da Wei to sit around and do the exact same stream in each language just so you could feel your favorite game is "loved" by the dude who has a financial incentive to make sure your favorite game is fully supported so he can keep doing the games he wants to do?

@scarletdisaster2699 I think it would be very fucking stupid of them to keep the old control scheme, being very different from modern standard controller layout, as they released Genshin and HSR on PS5 and announced ZZZ for PS5.
It isnt even the case that they dont know how to do proper MKB or Controller Layouts, they just did a poor job back then with HI3 and should correct it with HI32

Literally you can do everything by only using the keyboard, it's pretty much Fighting game style, way more precise, also they would need to rework the camera for that since unlike Genshin it is pretty good at auto managing itself, I can't imagine how you guys would play platform games on PC this way

They might add an EN Dub. Since this update is practically like a new game, with new characters and fresh story. adding an EN Dub wouldn't be difficult for them. unlike adding EN Dub in the Current Honkai, which story has already progressed a lot, And the players getting used to the CN and JP dub.
I'd say it's an opportunity to bring in more players.
