- This live video was shot at the iconic Portland, OR rock club Satyricon (Kurt and Courtney met here among other stories). Before the club closed its doors forever, The Dandy Warhols (who played at the club during their formative years) performed a farewell show featuring material from their first two albums with their original drummer Eric Hedford. There were only 240 tickets sold for the show. The band has graciously allowed me to post BE IN and I'm pleased to share it with you. WATCH IN HD IF YOU HAVE A GOOD CONNECTION.

If the songwriter clicks with the drummer, you’ve got gold
Hi im 11 years in the future. Im watching this on a handheld tablet with excellent quality. Gawd Damn!!!
it's so cool they got eric back for this one
God this is better than Christmas.
Awesome tune. Saw them for the 1st time about a month ago in Hamden CT and loved the show. Brought me closer to the band got sure. Will see them again next time they are in the area.
Be-In is so deep and gorgeous.
How good is this.
If they were thee My Bloody Valentine or thee Stone Roses can you imagine the carpets of adoring tongues that critics and their followers would roll out over the band?
That's so cool to see Eric back for the show :)
I love this band
I love the dandy warhols...I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE THEM IN BOSTON!
such excellent HD quality, love love love , my youth sings, best band ever !! 👌👌👑👑🙏🙏🌻🌻💕💕🌺🌺sexy musicians, psychedelic Bliss
man, i fucking love this song
Definitely I have to travel to see these guys. They are amazing!
I get to work with them for their annual Christmas show this year. I'm so excited I could squeak!
I ve always loved them live.
Love this group
Thank you that was amazing
love this. love them
ça fait du bien par où ça passe :-), vraiment dément ! Je l'adore celle-ci (comme presque toutes d'ailleurs).
Could I get a little more of my voice in my wedge?
The story of my life...
Wow. Amazing!!
First Dandy's song I ever heard, first track of the brilliant album "The Dandy Warhols Come Down". They often begin their shows with it--such a cool song....many thanks for posting this excellent live version!!
Brilliant can be a good definition.. altought after listening to it after 20 years, i released Come Down is one of the finest [and underrated] records of its time
Brilliant photography.
fantastique !
Exactly who started this false rumor about the Dandys not being a good live band?? This is fuckin amazing!!! Those people in attendance are lucky as fuhh
They're an excellent band live. They mix up their songs, altering the tempo, mixing them in and out of each other so they flow. Each concert is unique.
Seen them twice and they were excellent both times - bad rumour I reckons
so romantic so lovely intro ;)!!!!
Can anyone think of any comparable sounding bands? I've listened to every single song. But I need more of this specific sound in my fucking veins.
Can't think of a direct comparison at the moment - but you might enjoy Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Brian Jonestown Massacre, Velvet Underground.
great video!
Love it. It might be a good idea to see if the Dandy's could release your DVD. A bit of a collectors piece.
really cool...just wish these were on the official youtube site....
Holyshit this is amazing. A welcome relief to say the least from all the cell footage. Is there any way somebodys gonna release the whole show of this?
Would love to hear this remastered
amazing! מדהים
impresionante
I haven't felt that since the "Modern Dance".
Wow great show and sound. RIP to Courtneys voice tho...
John fire blame it in the wedge.
Hardly RIP… It’s like a cool ghost of his early voice. It more than works for Aged Dandy Warhols.
Would you be willing to PM the whole show to people? There's literally no good quality full length dandy shows on youtube, and it'd be great to own a treasure like this, the audio is so well recorded!
heheh he said 'wedge'
Man, ah nevermind..
One of the best songs I've ever heard, by anyone!! I am new to TDW, but now, they are part of my everyday listening. I love their sound and hope they keep going another twenty-five years.
Amazing quality and a great performance. Would have loved to have seen the whole set
Many have asked, to see more from this show. But I only had the band's permission to post this tune and I respect their wishes.
Justin Lowe what about releasing the show in a DVD or Blu-ray format. I would be more than happy to pay for such product and I am sure many DW fans would as well :)
Got anymore live Satyricon shows? I don't care who or when.
@@downallyourstreets I don't! Sorry!
@@justinlowe It's so rad. This very much encapsulates what they're actually like to see live. great post.
Thank you, what a track and live performance love the Dandys
I think this is the best version of this song I have found so far. To me this is their best song. LOVE IT. ;)
Been an absolute fan of theirs since Come Down, brilliant band!
such an underrated band, come back to Australia please
Stop with the underrated bullshit.
This is my most favorite Dandy Warhol song! Saw them in Phoenix recently and loved that they opened with it. Love this band!
Man, I love this song.
HOLY SHIT!!!! Where did this awesome footage come from?! and please say theres more!!! ???? :)
Loved to see shows at the satyricon! It stank and was sticky! Loved it
I mean.. looking these poor minutes, hearing the fabulous sound and feeling the spiritual corpse coming in eccelsis there's nottoo surprize of the fear the Gods manifest vs the human thang and how that fear is translated in the slavery condition they took us..
This is soo good, Kura Ora from TAHITI 🙂
RIP Satyricon... 🕯
Eric kicked ass
Was one of the first bands to play Satyricon in 84. George the owner was Portland's Bill Graham. Thanks to him lots of Portland bands got a venue they felt welcome in. Just ask the Warhols.
RIP Saty
awesome... greatly filmed
thank you for sharing
More Zia
They did that live and it's freaking amazing.
Came here for live Satyricon shows, after listening to Caustic Resin interview referencing one of the only really cool Portland places they felt accepted to play...don't give a fuck about Kurt n Courtney
When was this shot ? Amazing song, amazing performance, Dandy rules ok once more
Think it was 2010 if I remember correctly.
Around ten years ago on Sept. 15, 2010.
Top live act, so cool!
ya more please. court really rocked out on this one. Thought he'd kinda be not into the gig given it's nature.
Eric rules! So much better sound. And that touch at the intro with the lack of kick till all the instruments come in.... oh boy!!!
Zianın gül yüzünü göreydik keske
is there any other way of getting this incredible show??
Dandys are just that, a Band of Dandy Men and Women...
Most underrated band in the whole world , been a fan for over twenty years, they have a unique style and so many great songs, my two favourite albums of all time, thirteen song s and come down, would love to hang with these guys
Another stupid underrated comment. They are never that.
Beautiful rare footage thanks for uploading. Great band
Thanks June!
who is the drummer?
that's eric hedford who had departed the band in the late 90s
