Today I review the new S.H.MonsterArts Monster X figure!
As a whole S.H.MonsterArts Monster X turned out to be fantastic. The sculpt is well done, the paint apps are crisp and S.H.MonsterArts Monster X is fully posable. The lack of accessories is a bit of a bummer for S.H.MonsterArts Monster X. Hopefully they can make up for it with a release. Either way, I love this figure and I highly recommend picking up S.H.MonsterArts Monster X!

Great review as always, love the paint, the articulation and the sculp. I can live with the issues in the ball joints of the tail, but don't like the lack of effect parts. Wish they realease Kaiser Ghidorah with beam effects.

Had a chance to play with mine today finally, absolutely awesome figure! love the way it looks and feels, it has a great weight to it. Heavy enough to feel quality but light enough to pull off most poses without a stand. Only QC issues I ran into on mine were in the feet. Outside of having a very shallow ballpoint and no toe articulation that hinders posses, the feet like to fall off a lot on my copy.

I honestly get a bit annoyed at that, but not too ticked off

I mean for 94 bucks I expect no loose joints. I would also expect more accesories but it is what it is. I pre ordered him as well. So we shall see.

Articulation and sculpt he's looking great, tail popping off easily is a nuisance but not a deal breaker. It's consistent lack of accessories that bothers me, gravity beams would've been much appreciated considering how much harder they are to come across outside of ones from old King Ghidorah releases and could use an improvement imo. Still, can't wait for mine to finally come soon.
I really hope they release keizer ghidorah as well that would be amazing

They’ve really done most of the best monsters. I really want a Titanosaurus, King Caesar, and Anguirus.

Now for Kaizer Ghidorah.
Great review! I got both Godzilla 2004 and Monster X at Barnes and Noble recently. Monster X was $130 (plus I got 10% off) and he is worth the price! I'm glad to finally have him in my collection. He looks great! I had never noticed the asymmetrical designs on the bony parts of his body, so that was neat to find out. The tail pieces popping off occasionally don't bother me much. He looks great alongside Godzilla and Gigan (I have the first release 2004 Gigan).
My main complaint about Monster X is his accessories (and lack thereof) for the price. The extra hands he does come with are slightly different than the main set, but I don't think they're different enough for them to be the ONLY accessories. I would much rather have fists and gravity beams (especially since I don't have any SHMA King Ghidorahs). I hope that we get Keizer Ghidorah sometime and I hope that he comes with gravity beams.

Kaiser ghidorah would be freaking amazing, it'll be huge for sure since it runs on four legs. It sucks that he didnt come with beam effects, but I know a guy who can make them!!!

Im one of the fan that very excited when they announce this SHMonsterarts. But after I see the accessories, I cancel my super excited figure & character. With the price and accessory, its too expensive. I wish they add on another hands and effect parts at least.

I got the FW Godzilla a few days ago and...if he wouldn't Fall apart all the Time i'd love him...
I mean joints Poping off isn't that bad yes but if it happens all the Time it ruins the Fun Posing the Figure, atleast thats how i see it.
Really not sure if i want to pay over 110€ for Monster X....hm....i need more time to think about it i guess
Thanks for Watching and Thanks for the Support! I agree ball joints popping out can be annoying. If you are having issues with your G04, try adding a thin coat of nail polish to the sockets and joint. That should give it enough friction to stay in properly.

The tail is very awkward at how they tried to handle it, the ball joints just didnt allow X to move the tail without it popping off.

Update: I got mine and I've had him on my shelf for a while now. And he's a pain in the ass. I like the figure but good God every time I just pick him up his damn tail falls right off on the end. He's a great looking figure and I love that I have him but fuck me he's annoying. Lol
The tail on my second one now seems to fall off at the slightest movement now. I need to add nail polish to it to see it it helps

How do you import your figures
Diego, my jaw on monster x cannot fully close. Any tips?
The cost is too high! Also, SHMA should always add either effect parts or accessories, especially vehicles and/or buildings. I like the figure, but I have to say I keep feeling a little scammed. I'm leaning more towards BOTM and Hiya Godzilla instead for action figures.
Yep! If Hiya Toys ever gets to make the entire Godzilla line, you gonna see most SHMA figures on E-Bay for $10 a pop.
How do you get building I want to know i want buy ?
I've seen another review of Monster X and that his torso popped out like he was in two piece, but surprising it was broken and the reviewer did put him back together and that annoyed him and I'm thinking well that sucks if you don't move him too much. Just another thing to note.

Monster X scales *ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC* with Legendary Burning Godzilla
Note to the people who doesn’t know about Legendary/Legendary Burning Godzilla’s height: Legendary Burning goji’s height is 119.8 meters while Monster X is 120 meters which makes him 0.2 meters taller than Legendary Burning Godzilla in reality and figure line

Yup! Just a few things can pop off. I have noticed people going nuts over ball joints popping out that be easily be fixed by plugging it back in lol
Yup just a "few" things can pop off a $100 figure? These people going nuts about such repeated flaws from all things SHMA, have good reason my guy. Put yourself in thier shoes for just one second. Only people buying multiple copies cause these figures have so many QC issues is you lol . This line has been anything but absolutely fantastic for yrs now, hence folks like you buying several to compensate.@@DiegoDoom
