Get married in Joshua Tree National Park!
Kimberly & Juan had a relaxing Joshua Tree elopement with a wedding ceremony around sunset, followed by elopement photography in the desert and a stunning blue hour on top of the mountain overlooking the valley below.
They hired us, Tree of Life Films & Photos as their Joshua Tree elopement photographer and videographer. We helped them plan their Joshua Tree National Park elopement from getting ready to star photos at the end of the night.
We created their elopement day timeline filled with activities and enough time to travel in-between locations. we always design our elopement days so our couples can relax, have fun, experience the National Park and just have an all around amazing experience.
We started the day with getting ready at their beautiful Joshua Tre airbnb, just outside of the National Park. We then staged their first look and captured some portraits in the desert with the mountains in the background.
Then we packed up and drove into the Park. We love the sonic drive into the Park. It sets the tone for your ceremony as you drive further in to get to your wedding ceremony location.
We arrived at Cap Rock, in our opinion, the best wedding ceremony location aside Joshua Tree National Park. The sun was backlighting a large Joshua Tree, where we all decided was the best spot for them to say their vows to one another. They had a gorgeous ceremony in the Park, with privacy. It's one of the reasons that we recommend Cap Rock to our couples as their top choice for their Joshua Tree elopement ceremony location.
Afterwards, the celebrated with champagne and cake! We played music and they partied a bit. Then they had their first dance in the desert. It's the best place to dance!
At this time, the sun was just right for those gorgeous bridals, so we captured some dreamy wedding sunset portraits amongst the Joahus Trees and boulders.
Then we packed up and drove up to the best spot in Joshua Tree National Park for sunset.we caught the last bits of sun in the background for more epic bridals and then the sky turned into fire with bright orange tones. As blue hour started to set in, we brought out our lanterns for moody wedding photos and cinematic wedding video as the sky turned purple and transitioned to night. We could see the whole valley below. It looked like a dream!
They had a mini picnic with the best view in the Park and then we drove to one of the best places in Joshua Tree for stargazing. We needed the night with some epic star photos and video.
It was a full day of adventure for this destination elopement in Joshua Tree National Park.
