Same issues for a40 a50 a70 all get bad fpc connectors. Samsung quality is not as good as it used to be. Nice to see a clear video of how it should be done.

How can you air flow the fpc and the plastic bits dont melt? also please could you tell us what air and temperature you do below your videos :) much appreciated and loving your work
when it comes to the plastic on those connectors is there a specific amount of heat I should be using on my hotair? I am afraid of melting plastic or is it a type of plastic thats more forgiving when it comes to heat?
IMO better practice on damaged fpc and increase temperature gradually until you see it deforming. because each hotgun have different result even have same temperature except it calibrated well
Do they have schematics I have a phone that turns on alarms go off charges but screen remains black old screen new screen swapped the motherboard to a known good frame and screen 🤣😅 it's driving me crazy I need to test that connector and don't know how to or where to check for continuity, screen stopped working after a drop.

Sometimes no audio is better. That way we can appreciate the skill of repair better, but I figure you rather have audio working. Still a great video.
I will attempt this on a53. Sure to stuff it up. Will use 180 solder...but my solder skill is crapiola. Wish me luck.

320C is the sweet spot for these.
STS Telecom shows that flux can somehow "shield" the connector from heat

I think something about 350-360 degrees otherwise the plastic of the FPC is deforming
