I have my memories of Jaywick i loved going there staying in a caravan for a weeks holiday...lovely place back in the 70's...was very gob smacked when i went to jaywick 2 years ago...it's very different now to what it was when i was a child.
I was so surprised when this popped up and sad to see the other films about how neglected Jaywick is now. It was probable the first holidays I had there as a youngster in the 50`s, we stayed in a bungalow, there was a wide piece of ground in front where we would play, there was also a little boating pond I has a little boat I would sail on it and you could ride horses. I remember if you walked across the was a little place you played bingo, if you won you`d get these tickets, I did well probable with help from dad and won a doll and a toy poodle. I am glad I have photos of those times.
I went to Jaywick in 1963, a day visit. How many years ago? 57 years ago!!! Never been since! I thought it was a neglected, sorrowful place. The accompanying music sounds sorrowful to me....but your slides are really doing it credit! I should visit again...... But I am in Australia now....... Nostalgic........
Memories of happy days back in the sixties with parents and grandparents, now sadly gone. Still visit from time to time with my sister and her children. No longer what it was, but still a good day out.

Interesting music choice. Reminds me of Quantic's famous video selection for Time is the Enemy.
