@@AshtonFitness Haha well I got extremely close to getting it! Working on keeping my elbows in, i recorded myself and noticed that i was flaring them out quite a bit. Also going to try the transition negatives as the transition is the hardest part of the whole thing. Anyways thanks for the tips, ive never been so close to getting it before! :)

@@suwe1472 I haven't been able to workout in quite a while because of tennis elbow in both arms and some unfortunate health problems. However, I did manage to get quite a few clean muscle ups prior to the injury! (Injury was not from muscle ups, I just pushed myself waaay too hard one day cause I needed to blow off some steam, oops). I was also rather close to being able to do L-sit to handstand.

I just checked out your channel and i really like it!
Apart from this tutorial, which i found helpful ,can you give me a training routine to follow to achieve my first muscle up?
My max pullups are 12,but i can't get my chest to the bar and my explosive strength isn't where i need it to be.
Could you recommend me some specific exercises to gain strength and get closer to my goal?

Ashton Fitness no,i thanks you. I have had a look at more than 500 muscleup tutorials and callisthenics/sw videos. Official thenx, You,austin dunham and fitnessfaq are not only just ordinary callisthenics channels, but also practical ones.easthern european guy are well, but almost no explanation, just they show how they are great.(except some youngs such as artem mozorov) I am 41 year old. I decided on performing muscleup 4 months ago. I am a competitor age group mid distance swimmer and runner, also coach.i have learned via books and videos, which are really practical.you and other 2 people/channels are using training science efficiently.thats why i can now perform muscleup after 41 years old and married with child.
