To make the boss easier without reducing waystone drop chance, you can remove atlas point from the Boss tree. And remove the very bottom point from the general tree - the one that gives extra modifiers.
Quick tip for extra waystone drop chance, Distilled Envy gives extra 30% waystone drop chance each so you can get an extra 90% just for the coloring on your map, and i think it multiplies with atlas tree points ( effectiveness etc) so its a huge diff if youre trying to reach 1200%
Wanted to add a quick datapoint, I found a similar video (snoo) that explained this mechanic. I was able to drop 4 frags with 1116% waystone drop rate. I thought 1200% was the breakpoint for 4, but wanted to provide this additional datapoint.

Hell one guy even had one right next to the place you put the breach boss thing in. I look on my map and nothing. My closest one is like 200 nods away because it's on the other side of water and I have to back track 40 maps just to start heading to it. I wish GGG would make them random every 24 hours so you have a chance to wake up one day and have a few close by. But doing one then the next one is 200+ maps away just makes me not even want to do it.
i got 590%'s but anything higher do I get from a corrupted T16? Not a high chance and you mentioned using near Towers. What tablets should i insert? Regular Precursors?
To get higher waystone drop chance you want to fully max out a t15 map with exalted orbs. So full suffix and affix. I personally slap on some distilled emotions. Depending on what suffixes you hit you will get higher and higher waystone drop chance. You can stop there or after you have fully modded your map you hit it with a vaal orb. I've had a few maps turn into all suffixes which skyrockets the waystone drop chance. For instance I have a map with 600% waystone drop chance. Prior to hitting it with a vaal orb it was probably around 300~.
@HoneyBadger_DontGive_F watxh full vid You have to get towers around the citadel input a tablet with increased waystones chance to buff ur waystone also take tablet buffing effect in atlas, getting a map with increased quantity of items will help aswell honestly getting 550% on waystone is good enough & with all the other buffs that come from atlas and tablets should net u 3 fragments

Great vid, ive been farming citadels for money too but wasnt sure how to get the extra frags. I thought it was just random chance to get more lol.

I had 800% waystone drop chance but got only 2 fragments, how is this possible?
what do you mean when you say you farm "magic fine" ?
Magic find. It means that you have stat + x% increased rarity of items found on you gear. It increases chances for better drops.
1200% doesn't guarantee 4 frags, and there are cases where 1100%+ can drop 4 frags too

I get 3 frags and I’ve never had more than 580%
