I love this video!!! Also don’t forget we want you to do a 12 days of Christmas for Charlie this year like he does for you!!!! I would love that so much!!! I think that is my fav when he does that for you!! That is such a great tradition for you guys! ❤
While I am not interested in becoming a content creator, I appreciate this vlog, as you are offering help/tips for others wanting to grow their business. This speaks volumns about you and Charlie, your kindness to others.
What a wonderful vlog!! One of the things I love about you is your ABUNDANCE mindset! Always so happy to share tips to help Others. It’s beautiful! Lots of love darling
your work ethic has been evident from day 1 since I started watching your videos (probably 2016). It has drawn me, motivated me and inspired me. You stand out as the most dedicated, hardworking person- who also truly enjoys her job. That attitude of yours is what draws such a dedicated audience to you. Kudos to you!
I completely agree! Josie is such a hardworking influencer, and I really hope she gets the success she deserves. I love her work, and it's clear that many draw inspiration from her fashion style and actually her lifestyle. It's surprising to see others copying her and gaining followers whereas Josie’s numbers aren’t so high, which shows that authenticity isn't always appreciated. It's a shame people can’t recognize the ‘original’ from the copy anymore.
You’ve got a slow cooker , your simmering oven is one just bring whatever your cooking to the boil lid on and into simmering oven couple of hours or as long as you want doesn’t spoil perfect ! Try something.
I already loved your videos, but I definitely loved the Q&A. You are such a genuine and lovely person, and I'm happy that you share so much with us. Also, I would listen to any podcast venture that you do
📸 Olympus What a wonderfully refreshing Q&A. I know you called it spilling the tea but goodness, no one speaks so candidly about finances and what’s expected to stay in your business. What a clever head you have on your shoulders! I do so look forward to your vlogs as they’re always so calming and filled with antiques, gardening and home life. 🙌🏻
You are Charlie are both so young, but are wise beyond your years. Being brutally honest is a great quality. Even if people don’t like to hear it. You are right in what you say about the younger generation. They don’t want to graft. I see it in the industry I am in, but we take foreign workers and they actually DO want to work. And I think we would all be lying if we were NOT motivated by money. ❤️
"Any job that you do, do it to the best of your ability": yes! I've always thought the same and that's the message I am trying to spread too. Thank you Josie, many people need to hear that ❤
Thank you Josie, I’m working on blogging 8 years and live with a lot of illnesses’ so I do make a little bit of money. Now I’m older and put it on my vision board I’m getting approached more, probably as a niche. Tiktok is hard to master for me! I lost my Olympus lens after it cracked 🙈
‘Grasp a task’ oh I agree Josie. Give 110% in all you do. Going over & above gets you noticed & also gives you a sense of pride ☺️ You work your socks off Josie, well done 👏 A very insightful Q&A, thank you. Olympus 📷
That was an Olympus vlog Josie! Great to see your more business like side, passionate whilst remaining kind and generous. Totally agree re younger generation without making a sweeping statement many appear to have exceptionally high expectations concerning prospects and lifestyle without investing the experience and hard graft. BTW the pretty amber plant is a Huechera, they come in a riot of colour foliages and are v hardy, great for borders, I have a gorgeous purple one called wildberry. x
Olympus! Another lovely vlog Josie. You and Charlie are always so generous with your knowledge and experience. The explanation of influencer marketing was a real lightbulb moment for me!
I bought the Canon Sure Shot in the 80's, and it truly was the first of its kind in the way that it got rid of those awful 110mm film cameras which we had been using in the 70's. Of course, the 35mm was around forever before that, but didn't suit most peoples' budgets. Film was always quite expensive to develop, compared to the Digital system we have today. Wonder what's going to be next?
Josie I found you last Christmas, had to stop this and search when you moved in, was watching you stressed waiting to move and packing in 2020, it is stressful waiting to complete, you can relax every day in your beautiful house ❤
OLYMPUS! I agree on so many points. Share what you know, it’s no skin off your nose. Stop worrying about others ‘stealing’ from or copying you. Just concentrate on creating more and better content. Have pity on negative people. They’re usually so completely oblivious to the fact that they try to pull themselves up by putting you down that they wouldn’t even identify as miserable (they’re the last to know.) And finally, thank you for giving women of all ages more tools to achieve financial literacy and independence. So commendable.
Draught pronounced draft . Stout would be dark. You need an Indian pale ale for golden. Drought is no rain, not something you have experienced recently 😅😢
Dear Josie, another fabulous vlog. I could smell the slow cook in Australia 🥰 Re sea moss - just be aware that high levels of iodine are found in sea moss and can cause thyroid issues and even cancer. Having too much iodine in your diet can lead to an enlarged thyroid gland. So like everything in this life - moderation is key! Francesca ❤❤
I’m so shocked to hear your daxies are like that, mine absolutely love their meals and are excited every meal time - been raw fed from day one, maybe explore that as just like you eat well your dogs should be the same, so many protein options. Naturaw Forage is what I would go they are number 1 in the UK for quality and everything they need.
Olympus! ❤ Ty for this interesting information. I like your philosophy on when people are negative and unkind on the internet. I feel bad for you and other creators that I enjoy when I see these types of comments. I wish people would just be Kind - it really is that simple. ❤
Ironically, I followed you from the London vlogs on RUclips but didn't watch regularly. I started watching your content regularly when you moved to the Cotswolds and I think it's because you're also enjoying it more (or at least it seems that way!) and expressing your own style and opinions
This vlog goes far beyond business advice. I believe it can help hugely other content creators that are trapped in a bad mindset or fear of sharing, being honest etc. You spread so much positivity in a place that can be rather dark and competitive.. If only other youtubers would follow your steps! Not only it would help them with their own mental health but it'll benefit the whole industry and unlock many more possibilities. Keep it up Josie! Your best days are yet to come❤
Great information. Tons of light bulb moments. You are brilliant. I love that you are a positive thinking team. I think like this and always try to explain it. You really articulate it well and spread positivity in a world that doesn’t always. I wish you and your team all the success in your businesses.
Really good chat! But I have to say, I create content every day and haven't made a dime doing it. Since 2020. It's just a cosy home, garden vibe on IG & Facebook, (had to shut down my RUclips channel because it was taking too much time to shoot and edit and I was only getting trolls and gross men). I taught myself how to edit and all of it... So, [shrug], I put that on hiatus until I feel like I want to start it back up again. I guess I just got a bit jaded feeling like my content is good and why don't I get as many views as I think it's worth. So, now I focus on caregiving for my parents and create content mostly for fun and to document my life for when I'm old and can look back... love your stuff! Thanks for the wonderful chat...;-)
Aww come back to Nottingham I live near the city centre near to that store you went to. Had I have known you were coming I would have come to see you and Charlie I love your vlogs and would love to meet you both. Radcliffe on soar is near to East midlands airport thats 20 minutes away from us xx
I have followed you since April 2016. I was very poorly at the time having caught a very bad pneumonia from a patient. You got me through that Josie. I have stuck with you, and love how your channel has evolved. Both you and Charlie have been a constant through some very good times and some very bad times in my life the last 8 1/2 years, for which I thank you ❤ x
My favorite video so far and that is saying a lot because I love your Christmas ones so much and cant wait until they come back in Dec! I adore seeing the pups and not sure what Olympus is about but I watched to the end.
Interesting, my grandfather was a Welsh coal miner who immigrated to the USA, Illinois, to work as a miner. Probably over a hundred years ago. Yikes! Later moved to Michigan to work in the auto industry.
This channel is my favourite out of RUclips, it’s unique and interesting of all kinds, you and one other (Emily Norris) both down to earth and lovely and are the only reason I watch RUclips to be honest ❤️☺️
YES,! I am definitely as honest on my RUclips as you are here because I never have a script. Only speak from the heart. I LOVE what I do too. And I am very small and make no money from my channel......yet :) Josie, I love your attitude. :)
Really fascinating Q &A! I was someone who, like you, always worked to the best of my ability. I took on projects that may have been a bit above my skill level but I was willing to learn and push thru to completion. That mind set served me well. I am under 60 and recently retired. Does luck play a part? IMO, yes. But the opportunity for luck comes from a groundwork of hard work. Also, for almost 20 years I was an editor. I would watch your content when you were editing and think how does she have time to sleep! LOL! It’s a lot of work to assemble, screen, cut, pick music, review and publish content. I’m glad you have Chloe! All the best to you, Charlie and the team!
Hi Josie just had to drop a comment, my first since watching you. I did Promotion work in the 80's and 90's in store, Harrods Harvey Nicks etc. If I was starting out in my twenties, I feel I would want yo follow in your footsteps. Your Q & A was so interesting, forthright, honest and above all so kind, giving all your tips and tricks that have given you and Charlie such a happy forefilling business, Congratulations for your 10th Anni and may you go on from strength to strength.X's C.❤
Absolutely loved the Q&A.. Would love more of this kind of content. Very honest and direct. Loved hearing about your work ethic from childhood, your beliefs, how you have learned to adjust your mindset, all the business advice.. I must send this vlog to myself so I can revert back to it... Thanks Josie 😊 Also can we please get Charlie a cooking slot ❤🙏🏼😁
I really enjoyed this video, especially the Q&A - I would therefore love a Podcast from you guys! Thank you for sharing your knowledge and being so genuine about it. Oh and: Olympus
There’s nothing nicer than a slow cooked meaty stew. 😋 The beer with the word ‘draught’ is pronounced ‘draft’ stout. Your hydrangeas look amazing so pretty as they turn their autumnal pinks 💕 A wonderful vlog as usual 🙏 Olympus
Greetings from Indiana ... Josie you are a very lovely young lady, I would credit your parents for your upbringing. Be honest is always number one, and a giving heart is a joyful heart. Like you we have strong work ethics and our daughter does as well. Here too in the states people just don't have work ethics, what does the future hold !?! Kind regards , Paula
I loved the business chat. So fascinating. I've been watching you since about 2015 I think? Ages now lol. I started my own RUclips channel in 2016, and you were one of a handful of RUclipsrs who inspired that decision. 8+ years later I'm still doing it and can't imagine not vlogging. I love that you still have the Olympus Pen. I have two (again, you were one of two vloggers I followed at the time who were using it and it was my first "vlogging" camera, thanks to you). The screens on both of mine have broke, but I need to see if I can find a local repair shop that can fix them, because I really loved those cameras.
Crockpot is a very famous brand! Most people I know here in the states own a crockpot (especially in the midwest US). I've also been using my Caraway dutch oven for slow-cooked roasts and soups.
Josie - you have a good heart 🧡 So does Charlie. In some ways we live in quite a cynical society, and when it comes to RUclipsrs and sharing online for some people it’s an ego trip and just about money. With you and Charlie I instinctively feel there is real heart and sincerity in what you are doing. Your vlogs are interesting and go beyond just flogging stuff - and that’s so valuable. My favourite thing on these vlogs is you and Charlie just chatting about stuff - because you’re just good people and you have interesting conversations about life stuff. I know this is a business for you and Charlie - but keep your integrity because integrity matters. I so enjoy these vlogs and am very grateful for the time and effort you put into them - they’re such a pleasure to watch! A rainy grey day here today and your vlog brightens the day - so thank you! 🌞🌈💗
Just a pinch of cinnamon and clove can really boost the flavor in meat dishes! But don’t use too much, or it'll turn bitter-my grandma’s special tip! Love your videos, love from Cyprus!
Yay! More doxy time in this video. Dickens is the most handsome and Wally and I adore him. There is a puppy at a breeder for sale that looks just like Dickie!!!! xo Nancy from OHIO
I ❤ that you used an Irish food product in your slow cooker recipe , and I Adore that you called potatoes, Spuds ( in Ireland , Spuds are a favourite at mealtime ) ! Everything looked so Yummy , I imagine your meal smelled heavenly !
Wally the wiener dog's new favorite "topping" on his dry dogfood is boiled chicken livers. They are cheap and I can cook them in the microwave in a little water. He is spoiled as Dexter and Dickens are, of course!
Olympus. Haven't watched your content in a while, but I'm so glad to see that you, Charlie and the sausage doggos are doing well. I really enjoyed this video because I can see that you're still the positive and adorable personality that I was really drawn to during the lockdown period. The house looks great and it's awesome to see the evolution from when you first moved in to today :)
Thank you for sharing the behind the scenes to your business. Your genuinely a hard worker with high standards and it shows. The advice to young people is spot on, always do your best. 😊. I love the stories of how industrious you were as a teen and young adult. Your reputation and Charlie’s are both reflect ed in your content which makes it superior to most and definitely top tier for content consumers A podcast/roundtable video coukd be interesting to deep dive on different areas you are interested in. Watching your channel helps me to keep growing which is why I keep coming back. That and the content is so lovely and cozy. It would be interesting seeing a round table type format/podcast covering different topics you are passionate about.
I love that “Grasp a task” it’s a great way to teach/describe work ethic. Love the Q&A and excited to see what you and the team have in store. Olympus ❤
Hey Josie, just FYI for the slowcooker, once you have started the cooking try not to life the lid unless really necessary as it adds about 30min cooking time with each lid lift. 😊
Hello Josie, this was a great video, thank you for sharing it was very informative as well as entertaining. I love to watch your everyday vlogs as you say its a community that you focus on and it does feel like catching up with friends which is lovely. I recently started my RUclips channel and this video has definitely given me some tips and as you advise do it because you enjoy the process which I really do and hope to build even just a small community on here with my vlogs. x
Josie, your positive attitude, personality, and work ethic is what makes you special and keeps me coming back to see your vlogs 3 times a week. Never be shy about saying that you work to earn money - everyone I know who has ever worked was working to earn an income.
Josie I thought you were doing horseradish mash? I was looking forward to to seeing how you did that. Btw the cakes at The Kitchen on Pelham Street Nottingham are really lovely.
Olympus. A person with a marketing degree from 30 years ago, loved hearing how the business and ads work could have listened to you for hours thanks for being so honest. Just loved the talk also love those sausage dogs. Also good luck with the slow cooker
haha loved your video but I’m over here trying to find out if you ever want babies, I also feel bad because the first video I ever watched was of you and charlie arguing and he came off as a narcisist, now that I have seen you guys in action I feel so bad ,,, hope you can forgive me. I learned a valuable lesson, not to jump to conclusions.
CI can't eat that lovely brisket prep as he would break his goal of not drinking ANY alcohol regardless of where it goes. and what it is in. That is why CI never puts wine into his dishes.
Instead of a podcast do cotswolds fireside chats with Josie and Charlie❤
I love this video!!! Also don’t forget we want you to do a 12 days of Christmas for Charlie this year like he does for you!!!! I would love that so much!!! I think that is my fav when he does that for you!! That is such a great tradition for you guys! ❤
Oh, this is good! I want to do this for my husband and I need ideas! It's not easy when it comes to men's gifts...
Josie when you said “Any job you do, do it to the best of your ability!” I love that so so much!
Always so happy to share tips to help
Others. It’s beautiful! Lots of love darling
I have always admired your work ethic. Thank you for being honest about your motivation; you and Charlie deserve your success.
your work ethic has been evident from day 1 since I started watching your videos (probably 2016).
Now this comment is absolute Facts! I second all of it ❤
You have got to be one of the most transparent youtubers online. Nothing fake, just as you are. Well done Josie.
Olympus. Your blogs are a source of constant joy. Also, want to see more of Charlie. Thank you.
Thank you for sharing and being honest. I was taught to do your best and I've trying to teach my son that same principles. 😊
I appreciate that you seem so genuine. The twinkle in your eye says you are happy. 😊

You’ve got a slow cooker , your simmering oven is one just bring whatever your cooking to the boil lid on and into simmering oven couple of hours or as long as you want doesn’t spoil perfect ! Try something.
Just what I said in another comment. The original slow cooker and what it was designed to do 😊
What a wonderful video, such positive vibes. Have loved your content for many years ❤
I already loved your videos, but I definitely loved the Q&A. You are such a genuine and lovely person, and I'm happy that you share so much with us. Also, I would listen to any podcast venture that you do
Darling I love your RUclips’s . But I don’t want it to be a cooking Chanel. I love when you show your beautiful 👗
And we love her cooking channel and gardening too so you’ll have to cope with it.
📸 Olympus
What a wonderfully refreshing Q&A. I know you called it spilling the tea but goodness, no one speaks so candidly about finances and what’s expected to stay in your business. What a clever head you have on your shoulders!
I do so look forward to your vlogs as they’re always so calming and filled with antiques, gardening and home life.
🙌🏻
Love a crockpot dinner! I was always told not to remove the lid until it’s done. Anyone else?
No…I have to have a poke about….😅 never has an issue …

1 question.
Please give info on breakfast smoothie and what collegen you use.
I've never heard the use of yeast in a roast before, I'm going to research that fascinating addition. Looked delicious!!!

Josie, they're courgettes, not zucchini! 🇬🇧
In Oz we call them zucchini’s

I started my own RUclips channel in 2016, and you were one of a handful of RUclipsrs who inspired that decision. 8+ years later I'm still doing it and can't imagine not vlogging. I love that you still have the Olympus Pen. I have two (again, you were one of two vloggers I followed at the time who were using it and it was my first "vlogging" camera, thanks to you). The screens on both of mine have broke, but I need to see if I can find a local repair shop that can fix them, because I really loved those cameras.
LOL Do accountants make house calls now?! 😅 Just struck me as funny.🤭 Crockpot brand has been around forever… always worth it.
Crockpot is a very famous brand! Most people I know here in the states own a crockpot (especially in the midwest US). I've also been using my Caraway dutch oven for slow-cooked roasts and soups.
LOVE YOU EVEN MORE! I think this segment is your very best and I appreciate you being so super real and clear.
Olympus was my favorite camera as well! A very interesting video, Josie!!! Thank you so much!!❤
A traditional Dutch dish are stewed pears (wilder giesseman) with red wine, sugar, cinnamon and cloves (my recipe) and it smells AMAZING
Thanks for sharing. So very interesting on how you’ve developed your business and continue to grow.
Olympus😃
I love that “Grasp a task” it’s a great way to teach/describe work ethic. Love the Q&A and excited to see what you and the team have in store. Olympus ❤
Hey Josie, just FYI for the slowcooker, once you have started the cooking try not to life the lid unless really necessary as it adds about 30min cooking time with each lid lift. 😊
Olympus. Lovely vlog Josie... Love your energy and work ethic... Thank you🙂❤
So excited!
Hi Josie. You can get sea moss from Holland & Barrett. I know you had a look around H&B recently but I don't think you noticed it.
CI can't eat that lovely brisket prep as he would break his goal of not drinking ANY alcohol regardless of where it goes. and what it is in. That is why CI never puts wine into his dishes.
