I think you are amazing to put yourself out like this. It is especially hard on women to lose their hair....it is such a huge part of who we are in our minds. I am losing my hair from lupus and another auto-immune illness....it is so sickening. Even though I am 65...and married almost 50 years...it is still important to me to be seen as feminine....thanks so much!
Thanks so much for your wonderful demonstration. Your wig looks beautiful on you and your happiness is the best part of it all. I myself suffer from alopecia and it gradually crept up on me until I decided I really needed to get used to wearing a wig all the time. The ease of “fixing” my hair now on a moment’s notice is so liberating and makes me very happy. I am 78 but will not just yet surrender to looking older than I have to. Congratulations on your courage to show other women how simple life can be once again without having to be embarrassed about our handicap.

Toni, what is the color and number of the first wig she put on that Karen said was a reddish blonde color? I love this wig!! I don't have a membership with QVC, is there any other way someone can order your wigs. I was a strawberry blonde when I was younger, but now at 70 the gray is taking over my strawberry blonde color. The color I mostly wear now is Honey Blonde. I have cancer and am taking chemo and losing my hair. I love this style of wig and I think it would look great on me. Karen didn't tell the number and color for someone that would love to also order one. And also what is the price of the wig?

Karen, I feel you, girl. I’m 74 and do not have alopecia but do have fine thinning hair (like my grandmother) and my hairstylist and I work hard to keep it decent looking. I’ve let my gray grow out (luckily I inherited my dad’s pretty color gray) because the dark was too much contrast with my scalp. I’ve been watching those wigs on QVC and you may have convinced me to go for it. Thank you!
Ruth Beron - Hi Ruth, Look at Ellen Wille and Envy wigs also...not to confuse you. Ellen Wille runs a bit small but wearable for me, Noriko runs too small...my head circumference measures 22 1/2. Google how to measure head for your wig. Hope this helps. 💁♀️

The Infinity is short like a pixie, and The Anytime is a little longer with more hair on the side that covers the ears, or you can pull your hair back behind the ears. She ran a sale on QVC for $79 with 6 easy payments. Both wigs are beautiful but I liked the Anytime best. That will be my next wig to order, my #3 Toni Brattin!! Love TB wigs, they are great!!

Thank you for doing this video. You are lovely! I am losing my hair and decided to try a wig. I had a similar experience with buying a more expensive wig that was fitted for me. It had a lace top like yours and itched and left red marks all around my hair line and I mean all around my hairline. I loved the style but I could not wear it. Since then I have bought several cheaper wigs in the $100 range. I was fitted for a large so I bought larges but I like your idea of getting an extra large. A few seemed small but not worth the trouble of sending back. I wear one of mine for water aerobics and have to wash the back everyday where it gets wet
So sorry, I must have touched the wrong key because I wasn’t done. I have several wig grips and don’t want to use glue or tape on my scalp. I love having fuller hair again. Again, thank you for recording this and I hope all goes well for you.
The Toni Braxton one is just younger and flirtier, $1600 wig it’s OK looking you look wonderful and all of them, but the expensive one has no possess, and I think you’re a lady who likes a little pizzazz

Tattered Treasures by Pattie I have thin hair esp on the top and front. I use a coloured spray that covers my scalp. It is a life saver! I can get by 4-5 weeks before I have to colour again. But.... all that said... I went for a fitting for a bang and topper. The stylist felt I shouldn’t have that because it would pull my hair out. She tried some wigs on and wow, I was so impressed and know I will buy one sometime in the future. For now, I don’t need one.

Ok, the expensive wig looks great. I have one that the side tabs don’t come down enough either. Tried and tried , it actually slipped up...the headband I was given was hot and bulky. I don’t WANT to glue my head either . So occasionally I wear it. Like yours, it. Looks fine but isn’t comfortable for me. Now see Toni Braxtons are great, hundreds of dollars 💵 less and come in plus sizes. This on is fun and I’m hoping I can look half as good as you.

Karen, Don't feel too badly about your $1600 wig. At least it looks darling on you even though it may be uncomfortable. You're pretty no matter which wig you wear. I know where you're coming from because I have had to start wearing wigs, and until I learned about what to look for in a wig, I was very disappointed in my first two. All my best!
Liza Rosa - I’ve had baby fine hair but back in the day, a fair amount of it. When That was the case I liked this one product...but my memory is not working tonight. I’m sure the name will come to mind soon and I’ll be sure to add it in a comment to maybe help you out. ;-)
Okay Liza, The product is Thicker Fuller Hair by Cel U Plex. It is a gel serum type in a green pump. I would wet my hands a bit then use about a dimes worth after rubbing it over my fingers and then through my hair before blow drying. That way it wouldn’t weigh down my fine hair about five or six years ago when I still had enough hair to style. Hope this can help you. God bless.

Eberjo M Very good question. They ordered it to “custom fit” was from a wig boutique, and the color was ordered as well. They wouldn’t tell me the brand or maker of the wig. I was a newbie, had my son and hubby with me and they helped pick it out and would have paid $2000 to see me feel okay again after my Alopecia diagnosis. No return policy allowed. While trying on the sample wigs they wouldn’t let you even touch the wig. They handled them meaning the sales counselors.
@@karenlipman79 The real answer is that you got scammed. The only wig sellers who will refuse to let you feel a wig's fibers with clean hands are the ones trying to pass synthetic off as human. And that "net" on the front of the wig? That's the remains of a lace-front that someone appears to have cut off. There should be a wide strip of that material all along the front with hair tied into it to form a more natural looking hairline. My guess is that they got in a wig with defective lace and decided to chop it up and pawn it off on the first person who didn't know better. The cajones on those folks to charge you so much for a wig they mutilated like that...
Wow, it certainly seems as though you got scammed! Time to name and shame perhaps? If you look for Goode Shell’s fb group, she has a list of wig sellers who are not doing the right thing. It’s a private group, you will be safe in there.

While I did like the colors and style of the 1st 2 wigs there seemed something a bit off to me. When you put on the last 1 I realize what it was that bothered me. The 1st 2 wigs kinda of over powered you. There was a lot of hair in them, and you seemed to get lost. The last wig let me see you. You look to be a very petite woman & that last wig let your face& personality shine through. Oh my gosh you have a drop dead smile. The last wig made you look so perky and sassy. BUT this is just my thoughts. Could you take all of them to your local hairdresser & see if she has any thought on stretching the cap of the custom made one? With the other 2 Maybe thin out the hair a little bit? Find you under all that hair. I bet she could trim them into 2 very different looks. The Infinity is short like a pixie, and The Anytime is a little longer with more hair on the side that covers the ears, or you can pull your hair back behind the ears. She ran a sale on QVC for $79 with 6 easy payments. Both wigs are beautiful but I liked the Anytime best. That will be my next wig to order, my #3 Toni Brattin!! Love TB wigs, they are great!!

Thank you for doing this video. You are lovely! I am losing my hair and decided to try a wig. I had a similar experience with buying a more expensive wig that was fitted for me. It had a lace top like yours and itched and left red marks all around my hair line and I mean all around my hairline. I loved the style but I could not wear it. Since then I have bought several cheaper wigs in the $100 range. I was fitted for a large so I bought larges but I like your idea of getting an extra large. A few seemed small but not worth the trouble of sending back. I wear one of mine for water aerobics and have to wash the back everyday where it gets wet
So sorry, I must have touched the wrong key because I wasn’t done. I have several wig grips and don’t want to use glue or tape on my scalp. I love having fuller hair again. Again, thank you for recording this and I hope all goes well for you.

The Toni Braxton one is just younger and flirtier, $1600 wig it’s OK looking you look wonderful and all of them, but the expensive one has no possess, and I think you’re a lady who likes a little pizzazz

Tattered Treasures by Pattie I have thin hair esp on the top and front. I use a coloured spray that covers my scalp. It is a life saver! I can get by 4-5 weeks before I have to colour again. But.... all that said... I went for a fitting for a bang and topper. The stylist felt I shouldn’t have that because it would pull my hair out. She tried some wigs on and wow, I was so impressed and know I will buy one sometime in the future. For now, I don’t need one.
I really do love your attitude and honest opinions. All of your wigs that you demo where GREAT. OF course I also understand the disappointment in the first one of a kind but not your fault. After seeing your demo QVC here I come. Thank you lovely lady hope this won’t be your last video👏👏👏❣️

Ok, the expensive wig looks great. I have one that the side tabs don’t come down enough either. Tried and tried , it actually slipped up...the headband I was given was hot and bulky. I don’t WANT to glue my head either . So occasionally I wear it. Like yours, it. Looks fine but isn’t comfortable for me. Now see Toni Braxtons are great, hundreds of dollars 💵 less and come in plus sizes. This on is fun and I’m hoping I can look half as good as you.

The product is Thicker Fuller Hair by Cel U Plex. It is a gel serum type in a green pump. I would wet my hands a bit then use about a dimes worth after rubbing it over my fingers and then through my hair before blow drying. That way it wouldn’t weigh down my fine hair about five or six years ago when I still had enough hair to style. Hope this can help you. God bless.

Eberjo M Very good question. They ordered it to “custom fit” was from a wig boutique, and the color was ordered as well. They wouldn’t tell me the brand or maker of the wig. I was a newbie, had my son and hubby with me and they helped pick it out and would have paid $2000 to see me feel okay again after my Alopecia diagnosis. No return policy allowed. While trying on the sample wigs they wouldn’t let you even touch the wig. They handled them meaning the sales counselors.
@@karenlipman79 The real answer is that you got scammed. The only wig sellers who will refuse to let you feel a wig's fibers with clean hands are the ones trying to pass synthetic off as human. And that "net" on the front of the wig? That's the remains of a lace-front that someone appears to have cut off. There should be a wide strip of that material all along the front with hair tied into it to form a more natural looking hairline. My guess is that they got in a wig with defective lace and decided to chop it up and pawn it off on the first person who didn't know better. The cajones on those folks to charge you so much for a wig they mutilated like that...
Wow, it certainly seems as though you got scammed! Time to name and shame perhaps? If you look for Goode Shell’s fb group, she has a list of wig sellers who are not doing the right thing. It’s a private group, you will be safe in there.

Bless you for having the courage to "bear all" to the world. I just loved your truly honest video. Truly refreshing. While I did like the colors and style of the 1st 2 wigs there seemed something a bit off to me. When you put on the last 1 I realize what it was that bothered me. The 1st 2 wigs kinda of over powered you. There was a lot of hair in them, and you seemed to get lost. The last wig let me see you. You look to be a very petite woman & that last wig let your face& personality shine through. Oh my gosh you have a drop dead smile. The last wig made you look so perky and sassy. BUT this is just my thoughts. Could you take all of them to your local hairdresser & see if she has any thought on stretching the cap of the custom made one? With the other 2 Maybe thin out the hair a little bit?
Find you under all that hair. I bet she could trim them into 2 very different looks. A shag cut for 1 and maybe a high low for the other.But please don't give up on the pixie. Thank you so much for taking the time to read and consider my comment.
