Really pleased and excited to see the new frame. Always been a fan since you made my first ever 'proper' quad back in the KK2.0 and CNC aluminium days...
Congrats Chris!!! I’ve been an armattan flyer since the og chameleon first launched and the work you guys put into your frames is second to none! It’s gonna be hard to make me upgrade from my badger as I love that frame but this looks like you really have stepped up the design. Bravo
I love my Badgers, but I can't wait to upgrade to the Beaver!! Love the thicker arms, and the additional carbon at the ends of the arms to protect the motors!! Great Job Armattan!
Built mine up last weekend with a Fettec stack and it flies incredibly well! It feels so locked in, which is of course not just a result of the frame, but it sure is an impressive flyer. It is so smooth and no vibrations or jello that I can detect.Very solid and easy to build too with top notch components. It's a real winner!
Hey Chris, this was really fun and interesting to watch. So much attention to detail and experience has obviously been built into this design. I'm thinking/hoping to get back into doing some flying again, the technology has changed so much since I was doing it with the original 355 aluminum frame (#58 I think when I went digging this morning) and KK2! I'm almost thinking that just about nothing I have is really useful any more! Based on this video I'd say this has to be a great choice for a frame, now just have to keep on reading for all the other components. Thanks for taking the time to put this together.
always loved your frames. I like the idea of the camera moving in a hard crash. having a way to quickly set it back to your exact angle would be super helpful though. maybe there is a easy way we can mark degrees on the cam saver with sharpy.
Fantastic review with a lot of insight into the design process. You can really see all the work that went into the design. Looking forward to getting mine put together. I'll be checking the mail box everyday :)
Man the Beaver is such a gorgeous frame. It ticks a lot of boxes for me. I would give me left testicle for a Ti version though. Knowing the Ti can be heat anodized for a different look (or not.. Ti looks beautiful by itself too..) I absolutely love it, and will be getting one when they hit the US.
Excellent review!! Painless did not give a stellar review of this frame if anything barely touched on the important items that you mentioned that set apart this frame from previous models. Now I will purchase this frame based upon "your" review!! Thank you. One question, are the farms totally interchangeable or they left and right sides only? Couldn't tell from the video, thanks again! Oh and yeah Brain3D they are my only 3D parts supplier!!
Fantastic video! I'd like to add to a "wish list"...It would be great to have xt30 or xt60 tpu mounting in the front hole, behind the camera mounting frame.
I got to fly my friends beaver this weekend and now I want one haha. It flew super smooth and locked in and felt great in the air. Really nice design. I've been flying a 3" tadpole HD since it came out and like it a lot but I do wish the it was more of a true X like the beaver, and with a 3mm bottom plate. Maybe v2?
I would really rather have this with the slammed deck and titanium camera cage from the Badger as well as updated holes and standoff placement for the DJI O3.
are the factory tunes for the prebuilts available online somewhere? I bought the frame and bbuilt on it but was looking for some guidance on what the tune should look like. Im on 6s with 1700 kv 2207.5 motors with 5143.5 triblade props. with my action camera and battery I am at 735 grams. The vibrations look extremely clean and I've gone through and removed all the filters except the rpm filters and a dynamic biquad d term low pass filter
No rtf version eh ? I don't get why ... I bought my badger rtf and now I would love to buy this with 03 ready to fly but I checked and it doesn't exist
@@ArmattanQuads wouldn’t bother me. An HD cam mounted higher wouldn’t see them. I don’t think most pilots mind it in their fpv feed. Offering it in Compressed, True X and Deadcat would make it perfect for any style too and appeal to more pilots.
@@Stankycreekbmx dead cat is getting popular to remove props in view. I think it would be a good variation to the frame keeping everything else the same if possible. Most of the popular free-style frames now offer this as an option.

Thank you very much Chris! I've been flying Armattan from day 1 and will continue! Best frames out there! Hope to see the 6/7 icneher soon ^_^

Wow, already 3 years since the Marmotte frame and it's still my favorite, along with the rooster. Nice to see the continued improvements.
Excellent work guys! Best design Armattan has done yet. Shows a level of sophistication in the design approach that I definitely appreciate.
Wow! What a frame, there's so many options. So well thought out, you guys knocked this out of the park
I like the quick release arms 🔥🔥 also the option for different types of builds is cool 👍🏻👍🏻
Looking forward to adding the beaver to the rest of my armattan family! Awesome work!!!

This is such an ingenious work. I'm stunned about how well it performs in the air. So proud to be part of the team. ❤
Glad to have you back! Such a nice job 💪
That locking system is 🔥🔥🔥👌
Everything about Beaver is amazing. Arm locking, unusual looks and character. It flies incredible and it is definitely the next epic.

Sweet! Keep having my chameleon :) I'm slowly getting ready to build another 5". Are you planning a TI version? If so, can you tell when?
Yum yum 😂nice frame
Looks nice, maybe the next upgrade of my old chameleon
How does the HDZero Freestyle VTX fit?
You'll have to drill holes for HD zero 30x 30 but it will not void the warranty.
I will be getting one for sure!
Exciting!!

Hate to be that guy but I'm already wanting an "updated" version with, eh, whoop sized VTX mounting position(s)
Thanks so much for the indepth tour. Loved it! Could you please update the frame and create an ultralight 5 inches?

at product web page the main plate is still 2.5mm. please check. :-)

Not yet.
