Hi Martin, I'm a big fan of your work and I really appreciate your generosity. I'm a beginner luthier (very beginner!) and have learnt a lot with your short tips on making and playing the lute. Also, as your CD is not available here, I can enjoy the album via Spotify, so congratulations! I love it! Best regards from Buenos Aires!

Thanks for your appreciation. If you're interested in lutemaking, have a look at Travis Carey's blog: thelutesprogress.blogspot.com/2019/08/building-13-course-lute-start-to-finish.html

nice to see it starts out with the classic lute key of G minor, you can't have lute music without G minor in there somewhere

Daniel, you're in luck - most of the disc is in G minor! FS

Well, G Dorian - as are the clear majority of pieces in Petrucci's Odhecaton A. It's difficult to get away from the one flat key signature!

I'm very new to playing the lute, so when I improvise or compose a piece I almost always do it in G minor or G dorian

Sounds very nice, looking forward to hear it!
By the way, will you be sharing the scores in staff notation as well? This would be very nice, to be able to read along while listening to your CD.
