Greetings from Moldova! After all the impressions about the Bose 2 series, you just have to take the flex 1 and tell them how they differ in sound. I have two flex 1s and I am more than satisfied. But everything you say makes me feel like you're talking about my speakers. I need you to compare and tell me what has changed in the sound (without equalizer on flex 2). Thanks in advance.

IMO Fiddling with an EQ is a small price to pay (literally and figuratively) if you can get the Soundcore to sound as good or better than the Bose.

U bearly found out bout the flex? Its been the best in that size. The 300 sounds incredible after a good EQ adjustment. It really makes a world of difference in the sound. The 300 is very close at half the price.

If you know how to EQ, or get somewhere else great EQs, at its size, the Motion 300 is unbeatable.

He might activate the Hi-Res Audio from the Bluetooth settings and the app to hear the real difference!

I mean for $50+ more the sound quality would have to be significantly better to justify spending it

In terms of value, the Soundcore is hard to beat. You can basically purchase 2 Soundcore speakers for less than 1 Bose Soundlink. I just purchased one on Amazon for $56. You can pair them, which you can't do with the Bose, for a much bigger sound. I understand why people love Bose speakers; I have a pair of Bose bookshelf speakers, and they sound great, so I am not by any means bashing the brand. I am simply stating that the Soundcore is the better value for a portable bluetooth speaker. You are getting a comparable product for half the price.

You can do it with bose as well

@ayanchs I stand corrected. As I said, I own 2 Bose speakers, and they sound great, so I am not, by any means, bashing the brand.

    I have both
Soundcore has better sound quality because of LDAC along with better low end bass without any distortion.
For some reason i use the Bose more often. Its probably because its so easy to grab and carry anywhere. Plus the sound is surprisingly good for its size!!
The Bose takes much less time to come to a complete charge compared to the Soundcore.
