When I told you guys earlier this week, that this was special, just take a look for yourself at the first 3 minutes of this specific video(part 1 of 3). Absolutely incredible male lion sighting, and a morning in the Kruger National Park to remember for decades to come. Now, I need some input though from you guys. I counted 6 young Males(Zaza and brothers), making them a 9 Male lion coalition with Tank, Splitnose and Blondie. If we include the other 3 Gomondwane brothers, that roam the Shishangeni concession, we could be looking at a 12 Male lion strong coalition. What are we talking about? Biggest ever Male Lions coalition? This Friday, I'm heading towards the Nkhulu males area(more on that during the week:), to put them on film, after their return back from Sabi Sands and after being chased back to the Kruger by the Gijima Males. But are we looking at the biggest ever male lion coalition, right before our very eyes? Is the South becoming the strongest in Male Lion force?? I am as excited as a kid with a new toy, as times are changing, and dynamics are evolving! Male lions have stories, and their stories are the world's stories.......

We are in for some special moments with this crowd!! That is evident!! I'm so excited on what we will get to witness with this pride and the coalition!! It will probably be something that we have never witnessed before!! It will be some exciting times ahead!! ZaZa is already huge and with him still growing he is going to be one massive beast!! I hope they all live a long time and become the Kings that we know they can be!! With lots of offspring for generations to come!! This is going to be simply amazing!!

I'm with you on that one my friend, i really hope they thrive. But, looking at the numbers, and a leader in Zaza, it's hard to think that they won't. I think we will be looking at one of the largest male coalitions around, soon. Exciting stuff to be honest 😁🦁

Beautiful relaxing footage! The Gomo males are a success story raising these young males. If they are still in their prime, I wonder if Zaza will be forced out first since that’s usually what happens. But it would be amazing if they all stayed together. They have yet to come to their prime, that's gonna happen when they are 6-8yrs.Zaza is the oldest brother but he won't be expelled until 2,5-3yrs. and be sure his brothers will follow him.I believe that is going to be special, hope his path will be great one and he and his brothers will achieve a lot (Mapogo style)!

Appreciate you watching Brenda, i hope you have a blessed day too🦁😁. I'm going out on a limb here, but he(Zaza) seems to have taken control of the Vurhami pride, along with his brothers. Reason i say this, is the fact that Tank, Blondie and Splitnose has separated themselves from the Vurhami's completely, and focused all their attention on the Hippo pools concession. I might be wrong, but I've got a good feeling I'm not. If so, a fight will happen sooner rather than later. Question is, how many sons do they have in the Hippo pools concession? Might be a bigger problem later on. Interesting times ahead, that is for sure 😁🦁

How old is this potential up-and-coming King? Are the 6 basically the same age? And, should Tankster have his "head on a swivel" in a couple of years? A coalition of 12? That wouldn't hold together long, now would it? The social dynamics of a lion pride are interesting to say the least!
It really is interesting my friend. Because the lion dynamic always change. It's and ever changing scenario😁. They are pretty much the same age yes, which makes them unstoppable. They will be a massive force in a couple of years. Hopefully Tank and his brothers, either stay away, or join up. Because age will also play a vital role😁🦁. I do think that we are looking to the the biggest male coalition in a very long time. Zaza and his brothers only full grown is already very powerful. 6 males is already much but with Tank,Splitnose and Blondie with them. That’s already 9 strong males and as you say in the description , the other Gomondwane males .. if they join that it’s just without a doubt the biggest coalition ever. Stunning times ahead😁 how old are Zaza and his brothers at the moment ? Around 5-6 of age ? 🦁
Smet my friend, one thing is for sure, the younger bonds are growing extremely strong. They are not leaving each other alone for a minute. That alone is excellent news for any person with knowledge about coalitions and forming strong coalitions at that. So we are in for a real treat. I think in a year's time, the largest male coalition in the Kruger. Maybe even the biggest Male Lion coalition in Africa. Stunning times ahead my friend, and we have front row seats 😁🦁

Oh dear. What an amazing video recording. One question these males appear to be at different stages of development. Is that correct? Some seem to have more mane growth and tufts on their legs than others. I must admit I enjoyed the long ride down the road behind the 3 walking. Observing the different movements of their tails, the little play scene and to end - Oh boy water to drink😊😊😊😊😊😊❤❤❤❤. Thank you for a delightful viewing. Sound effects great as well❤❤❤

Another 6 male lion coalition in the making. I highly doubt the gomondwane males would join their sons unless only one of the Gomondwane males were to be alive and his bothers were to died and ousted at the same time as the sons. But anyways can't wait for the nkuhulu sighting.
I'm with you on that one my friend. Don't think they would, specially because they spend majority of their time around the Hippo pools concession. We never know though, but i also find it highly unlikely. I want to see the Nkuhlu's so bad. Know i will find them 🦁😁. Appreciate you watching 🙏😁
@@krugersafariandbeyond I hope you can get a sighting with all 8 lions (7 nkuhulu+ dreadlocks de la porte) as 2 of the Nkuhulus aren't in the best condition one has a slight limp while the other is quite skinny last time I saw them.

I hope the adult males don't kick out Zaza and his brothers from their pride..it would be great to see them together just like how the notch coalition was with notch and his sons..12 male lion coalition definitely the biggest..the famous mapogos were 5 if I'm not mistaken...only concern I have if they do stick together they will split up to try and take over more territory which would work against them because having to cover , patrol, and rule in different areas of their broadened territorie(s) would be less of them as oppose to them staying in one territory with all 12 plus whatever number of females they have to form the family unit..time will tell..ty for the videos..appreciate u from Toronto Canada, God bless you and all watching

Soon to be ousted by the Gomondwane males, most definitely. Zaza has almost come of age where he needs to prosper. The Eastern Gomondwane males, known as the Shishangeni males, are very rarely seen. I remember last year June, when i just started my journey, without a camera, i saw all of them together. But these days, they never meet up unfortunately. I think there might be some bad blood between the two concessions. My opinion 🦁😁❤️💪
The conversation of these fine young males will occur only to the point of trophy value . It has been realized that a huge amount of revenue can be made through the license needed to hunt the bidding of the limited number of available hunting tickets which will vary depending on species. As you can see the value in a huge maned lions pelt .
Fortunately, there will be no hunting of these beautiful boys, ever. Kruger National Park has never been a hunting ground, in fact, the exact opposite. There's a zero tolerance for bull#& down here. They are the safest they'll ever be, right here.

The Nkhulu males are far from where i roam, so I'm traveling far to get to them. But I'm sure it will be worth it😁🦁. They are some story of their own. Zaza and brothers are going to be the biggest coalition in the Southern Kruger for sure. Can't think of anything that will stop them. Beautiful lions, great times ahead 😁🦁🦁🦁🦁

When I look at ZaZa , he makes me think of the Tsavo Lion's. They were Maneless Lions and looked like ZaZa .The infamous pair that went on a killing spree. In reality killed 35 people. It's probable that it started by finding those rail workers that had died from natural causes, which drew the handicapped lion to the camp. One had Major dental problems, and the other more than likely a brother. Which as we know stick together. Although it was a such a tragedy, which took a lot poetic license in the movie. It was just what Lions do, what we all do to survive ! They were just Lions, not demons, I think that fear caused many to panic. In thinking nothing could stop them they failed to take appropriate measures, until that is J.H. Patterson arrived. Thanks again for keeping track of these future Kings 👑👑👑👑
Luckily for ZAZA Williem BOTHA isn't around...he would of already taken a down payment from a hunter to take Zaza out once his full mane has developed...or hold an AUCTION so the highest bidder get to hunt him,without worrying about authorities...
