Yes ! This is what we are hoping for ! You can see him smelling the ground, Is he tracking dreadlocks ? I think so ! Lets hope he is as good a tracker as you are ! You're like a lion, never give up, keep pushing forward. It takes alot of perseverance and good old fashion dogged determination to find these lions. We see it as a 10 minute piece of video , which can take many days to take. But what amazing videos they are ! I remember as a child, at The St. Louis Zoo there was a mighty Gorilla , his name was Phil, he was amazing, a huge 860 pounds, gentle creature, I adored him. I was only 3yrs when he died but I remember him so vividly. I only remember certain things from my childhood, but I remember Phil. He lived there all his life. born in 1940 he died at the age of 18 yrs. He just stopped eating. After his death he was stuffed and is still on display. There is bronze sculpture was created by William Timym and donated by Sidney Cohen in 1985. It is located in the Jungle of the Apes plaza. Back then we didn't understand that he should have been left in the wild. There are pictures of him, but no videos, how amazing would it be to be able to see a video of him. This is what makes your videos so amazing, we watch these Lions, learning their personalities and grow to love them. Sadly their lives are short, but because of you we can see them again. Why is it that a male lion just struding along demands such attention. Their stride is so purposeful. Amazing to watch. Loved the scene where the one lion scent marked next to the cars😂❤❤ warning this is my territory!. I find it fascinating that they are all in such perfect health. Even the lioness looked well fed and healthy. Wonderful footage again. One question, any idea of the identity of the loud bird in the background?. He really meant to be heard. Keep up the great work. It really is like that Vivienne, they truly demand attention. And many people watching thinks that vehicles bother them. They love it. I believe lions live a life of efficiency . So anything that allows then to travel easily is very important to them . For the same reasons people build roads ,lions use them . By not struggling to walk across the bush, looking for snakes and safe footing saves them a lot of energy! It also provides a better vantage point for them . Roads provide an open plain for them to see . Much harder to be snuck up on when you can see behind you and in front of you and off to the sides where a lions ears are positioned. So he can use all of his senses to his advantage .The cleared roads help in the transfer of smells . By the nature of the way roads are made , they clear a wide path and remove obstacles for the road. And roads usually lead to something important.... water ,food ,and crisscross the intire reserve ,so they very likely are well placed for the lion also . Another great and more easily seen is the example of this is wolves walking in snow .A wolf can walk in a straight line . Not Dog walk . With his front legs not in alignment with his hind legs . This means he can step with his back leg in the same spot as his front foot just was . Buy doing this the wolves don't drag thier feet in the snow . Where a dog drags all 4 feet in the snow ,a wolf only 2 ..twice as efficiently! Now a pack of wolves traveling togather all stepping in a clear foot print moves with incredible speed and efficiency . And they all arrive having spent less energy and faster with more reserves to use for hunting ,staying warm etc ! Roads work for lions in a similar fashion . It's just not as easy for us the see . And it is practically a mail box . Bringing a lion the news from every other animal ,or vehicle that has traveled it ! Peace ,be safe !

I feel for this one Male Lion maybe closer to Dreadlocks then the other Male Lions and it`s possible that he maybe answering to his calls I`ve seen the same reactions with Humans for when I was much younger and Living in the streets I was attack by five from another territory and the calls of battle brought four from the territory that I lived in at that time and if it wasn`t for those four I wouldn`t be writing this today they beat me bad it laid me up for close to three weeks ... For the Lioness it`s just possible he may have run into her while coming to Dreadlocks aid for it seems to me that he`s not showing much interest in her ... All we can do is keep our " HOPES " that thing will get better for all of us in our Nature World ??? Thanks Brother for your tracking and your loving & caring for our Nature World ... Sat with them for a good 4 hours, she was very interested, but he didn't want much to do with her, almost as if he's telling her, I've got important stuff to attend to. Seems as everything is right on the edge of things. Sabi sands Borders kruger. The property is Right on the edge, and the lions are on edge. So being on edge at the edge, a lot going on!! Sabi sands seem to have a lot of lions atm. Almost to many on the area and tensions are rising. So this will be interesting to see what happens. I hope not to much blood runs thru Sabi Sands. There is definitely going to be some crazy things happen. It was like this last year too if im not mistaken? There was a lot of heart break that came with the lions. Nothing stays the same. That is why it is so hard to keep up with what is going on. Something new everyday with these majestic beauties. He is tall and he will be massive as he matures, it will just take another 1-2 years to fill out. They definitely have an advantage for being such a large coalition in the making while being nomads. Aside from that, they have an experienced male leading them, assuming they reconnect.
They need to leave this area once they find Dreadlocks because these two big gorgeous boys mean business.This was a warning next time it might be his and whoever is with them their lives They are bonded for life and will fight tooth and nail.This was the Avocos first pride.These Nukulus killed one of their subadult lionesses .They heard the commotion and came back.I am glad they didn't kill Dreadlocks but they need to move on and find more territory and this is where luck will come their way for many lionesses in the foreseeable future

How long does it take for a lion to cover 2km? I dont count out dreadlocks yet he is still thriving and a force of his own but will feel better once he is reunited with his coalition
They can travel 10 - 20 km's per night. So depending on their routes, they can meet each other very quickly. Dreadlocks is indeed a fighter, and a survivor. Strong boy 😁🙏💪
I saw this notification earlier but I was on my way to church. I'm home now and is he the only one of the six going to Dreadlocks? I hope not because even as big as he is and Dreadlocks not quite healed enough they wouldn't stand a chance against the other two males that's heading towards Dreadlocks. Very good question Shash. The lioness here might very be from the Sand River pride. As it's their turf. That being said, I've not yet seen this specific lioness close to the Nkuhlu's.

You are correct Jp, 2 km's sounds easy to cover, but 2 km's can be the distance between life and death. So many lions around, so many threats. The lions world is so interesting, it's always on knifes edge. Some beautiful stories, and some sad one's too. The lioness is with the Nkuhlu male currently. Why is it that a male lion just struding along demands such attention. Their stride is so purposeful. Amazing to watch. Loved the scene where the one lion scent marked next to the cars😂❤❤ warning this is my territory!. I find it fascinating that they are all in such perfect health. It really is like that Vivienne, they truly demand attention. And many people watching thinks that vehicles bother them. They love it. I believe lions live a life of efficiency . So anything that allows then to travel easily is very important to them . For the same reasons people build roads ,lions use them . By not struggling to walk across the bush, looking for snakes and safe footing saves them a lot of energy! It also provides a better vantage point for them . Roads provide an open plain for them to see . Much harder to be snuck up on when you can see behind you and in front of you and off to the sides where a lions ears are positioned. So he can use all of his senses to his advantage .The cleared roads help in the transfer of smells . By the nature of the way roads are made , they clear a wide path and remove obstacles for the road. And roads usually lead to something important.... water ,food ,and crisscross the intire reserve ,so they very likely are well placed for the lion also . Another great and more easily seen is the example of this is wolves walking in snow .A wolf can walk in a straight line . Not Dog walk . With his front legs not in alignment with his hind legs . This means he can step with his back leg in the same spot as his front foot just was . Buy doing this the wolves don't drag thier feet in the snow . Where a dog drags all 4 feet in the snow ,a wolf only 2 ..twice as efficiently! Now a pack of wolves traveling togather all stepping in a clear foot print moves with incredible speed and efficiency . And they all arrive having spent less energy and faster with more reserves to use for hunting ,staying warm etc ! Roads work for lions in a similar fashion . It's just not as easy for us the see . And it is practically a mail box . Bringing a lion the news from every other animal ,or vehicle that has traveled it ! Peace ,be safe !

I feel for this one Male Lion maybe closer to Dreadlocks then the other Male Lions and it`s possible that he maybe answering to his calls I`ve seen the same reactions with Humans for when I was much younger and Living in the streets I was attack by five from another territory and the calls of battle brought four from the territory that I lived in at that time and if it wasn`t for those four I wouldn`t be writing this today they beat me bad it laid me up for close to three weeks ... For the Lioness it`s just possible he may have run into her while coming to Dreadlocks aid for it seems to me that he`s not showing much interest in her ... All we can do is keep our " HOPES " that thing will get better for all of us in our Nature World ??? Thanks Brother for your tracking and your loving & caring for our Nature World ... As for the lioness, that is very possible. Sat with them for a good 4 hours, she was very interested, but he didn't want much to do with her, almost as if he's telling her, I've got important stuff to attend to. Seems as everything is right on the edge of things. Sabi sands Borders kruger. The property is Right on the edge, and the lions are on edge. So being on edge at the edge, a lot going on!! Sabi sands seem to have a lot of lions atm. Almost to many on the area and tensions are rising. So this will be interesting to see what happens. I hope not to much blood runs thru Sabi Sands. There is definitely going to be some crazy things happen. It was like this last year too if im not mistaken? There was a lot of heart break that came with the lions. Nothing stays the same. That is why it is so hard to keep up with what is going on. Something new everyday with these majestic beauties. Time will tell, and i will be on the edge of my seat waiting to see what happens at the edge of Kruger!! Thank you my freind its as if you put a new light on some of this!! He is tall and he will be massive as he matures, it will just take another 1-2 years to fill out. They definitely have an advantage for being such a large coalition in the making while being nomads. Aside from that, they have an experienced male leading them, assuming they reconnect.

They need to leave this area once they find Dreadlocks because these two big gorgeous boys mean business.This was a warning next time it might be his and whoever is with them their lives They are bonded for life and will fight tooth and nail.This was the Avocos first pride.These Nukulus killed one of their subadult lionesses .They heard the commotion and came back.I am glad they didn't kill Dreadlocks but they need to move on and find more territory and this is where luck will come their way for many lionesses in the foreseeable future
Fully agreed. They really need to find him and get out and to safety. The Nkulhu's have numbers, but not enough experience as yet. If they can stick together, different story. They really have a bright future ahead, hopefully with Dreadlocks by their side 😁🦁
How long does it take for a lion to cover 2km? I dont count out dreadlocks yet he is still thriving and a force of his own but will feel better once he is reunited with his coalition
They can travel 10 - 20 km's per night. So depending on their routes, they can meet each other very quickly. Dreadlocks is indeed a fighter, and a survivor. Strong boy 😁🙏💪
I saw this notification earlier but I was on my way to church. I'm home now and is he the only one of the six going to Dreadlocks? I hope not because even as big as he is and Dreadlocks not quite healed enough they wouldn't stand a chance against the other two males that's heading towards Dreadlocks. 4:38 that lioness belongs to which pride and Previously a couple of times I have seen some pictures and videos of nkhulus and dreadlocks with Some lionesses. Do they have Their pride Or is it nkhulu pride lionesses.
Very good question Shash. The lioness here might very be from the Sand River pride. As it's their turf. That being said, I've not yet seen this specific lioness close to the Nkuhlu's.

You are correct Jp, 2 km's sounds easy to cover, but 2 km's can be the distance between life and death. So many lions around, so many threats. The lions world is so interesting, it's always on knifes edge. Some beautiful stories, and some sad one's too. The lioness is with the Nkuhlu male currently. And the morning after this, one of the most beautiful sightings. But i don't want to spoil it now😉. I appreciate you watching, and i appreciate you on my journey my friend, thank you 🙏❤️

About 7 km's from Skukuza. Not too far from Sabi Sands, basically on the border. But saw this boy heading into the Kruger concession. Stunning male.
