I never understand why you would go to krakow and eat at these chain restaurants.
When there are so many amazing polish restaurants.
Thanks for another great vlog 😀 x

    Hi Ged and Nina,
excellent vids and comments as always.
This restaurant looks nice and the quantity on your platter is enormous. Tell me how were the fries as my last visit to Poland (10 yrs ago) I wasn't impressed with the quality of the chips.
When you find time try Pod Baranem just a small walk away from the main square.
    Best wishes for 2023 🙂🙃😊

Thank you. Actually you're right about fries - in fact globally frozen bland fries are the norm and rarely get fresh made ones. Gruba Buła, we made the burger vid, has home fries that are excellent and the belgian fries street food places pretty good too. Here the fries were ok, nothing special. Pod Baranem is on the radar! Best wishes for 2023 to you too!

Another excellent video 🙏🏼 I’m a huge steak fan so I appreciate the video & this restaurant wasent on my radar! Have you considered doing a tour guide of krakow/Zakopane must see/must eat, maybe hotels, I saved the hotel in zakopane and this place, price is more than reasonable to me. Definitely a good pick. You guys are great 🙌🏼

to be honest Nina whips up a great English breakfast so we never go out for one, though I read Milkbar does a good one. we know a great breakfast place in Zakopane though - we featured it in our second vid from there in August

Wow Ged, the amount of food you had would indeed last me for three days. This steak looked gigantic, it's a shame that its taste was not up to its size.
Kudos to Nina for making the right choice, it seems that she enjoyed her meal.
Regarding the venue itself, even an original Tex-Mex restaurant from somewhere in Texas or New Mexico would be proud of such a long menu list.
And it seems they would also be proud of Sioux's interior decor. The contrast with Rynek Główny couldn't be bigger, once you enter the door of this restaurant you find yourself in a completely different world. So shocking that something like this exists in the Main Square of Kraków.
All in all, looks like both of you enjoyed the evening and the food and I am happy for you.
Have a lot of fun during your Sylwester festivities and may this upcoming New Year bring you both health, happiness and delicious food in abundance.
Happy New Year 2023 Nina and Ged.

Three courses and one round of drinks. Yes, would go back. I preferred it to Pimento steak house, which is fancier. A very good meat restaurant - can see it's popular with the Brits! We will go to Moo Moo soon which is almost as popular and compare.

Marlborough wine is from Australia and my State not far away from me. Is unusual to see Australian products in Poland. You would never afford to have so good dinner in Australia. Price is killer. Stake and small size $70 minimum and with out anything else. Extras have to be paid and plus this some, price is killer. I have not been eating meat for at least year and again price is going up. Yes is lunch time and I need to eat. I am off to fridge 🎈🎈

Thank you for your review. I wouldn't choose this restaurant. For me it's all about the flavour of the meat and not about the sauce bowl. The side salad looked like a pile of shredded GMO veggies for a goat.

It's actually $85 USD and for steaks it a very good pricing, as Peter Luger Steak House in NYC starts at $50 for the steak, same price as in Austin Texas at 3 Forks or Oak Steakhouse in Nashville, Tennessee.

Pozdrawiam

    • @worldcitizen123
      @worldcitizen123 2 года назад
