the nevermoor series is incredible! even with each book being around 500+ pages they are so quick to read and when you reach the end of each book you are left wishing there was more and immediately picking up the next book 🦎🦎🦎
I started Nevermoor because of you and loved it. I recommend it to everyone. Just about to start Hollowpox, and I added Brightstorm and Orion Lost to my TBR.
I have fallen in love with middle-grade this year it’s starting to dominate my shelves 😂 a couple of my favorites this year were Sweep, The Haunting of Aveline Jones, The Boy the Bird and the Coffin Maker and many, many more.
I absolutely loved Orion Lost too, it was such a pleasant surprise! Thanks to your book club for making me read it and discovering a new favorite :) I also started the Nevermoor series in November and I absolutely cannot wait to read Wundersmith and Hollowpox and them both being on your list is only fueling the need to get my hands on them 😅💚
My mission for this year is to read all of these that are standalones or completed series. I’ve read Nevermoor and own books two and three but may not get to them this year. I like marathoning series. My favourite middle grades of the year: From the Desk of Zoe Washington, Aru Shah #3, Scritch Scratch, and In the Red.
"The Girl who drank the moon" was a beautiful book! Yes "Gargantis" was better than the first one! Same! Potkin and Stubbs! Cannot wait to continue with that series! Wonderscape is on my TBR! The Nevermoor series is amazing! OMG I haven not read Frostheart 2 yet xD The Castle of Tangled Magic is on my tbr as you know! BUT I will follow your advise and read The Girl who Speaks Bear first! Brightstorm is. also on my tbr! Will be reading Orion Lost soon!! 🌲🍊
I finished the Spy School series (what was currently out) this year and absolutely adored it. Plus I read Chasing Redbird by Sharon Creech (and old one I had not got to) and loved it!!
I love this!!!! Love children's books, so does my Mum. I found yours and Gavin's channel this year and have been loving all the recommendations! Btw you have sold me on Carl James Mountfords Art! 😂 I loved Inkheart and have original hardbacks as I love them, but there new covers are so gorgeous! I have added so many new authors and books to my wish list! Could not remember which one had the incredibly name Herbert Lemon and Violet Palmer in them, so thanks have added those to my list. I buddy read Nevermoor with my Mum last month (May) and bought her Wundersmith so we can continue the series and have pre-ordered the 4th 😂 She bought me the house with Chicken legs so I can start my Sophie Anderson Journey and I also have bought Orion Lost! So excited! Loved me, My Dad And the End of the Rainbow, can't wait to join you with that in middle grade monthly
I really want to read more middle grade next year, so I absolutely loved this video!!!💕 The Girl Who Drank the Moon sounds soooo good and Wonderscape sounds so freaking cool! 💚🧡
According to goodreads there will be a third book in the Legends of Eerie-on-Sea series but it doesn’t yet have a name or release date 👀 but I really hope there is because Malamander and Gargantis were amazing 🍊🍏
Thanks Jade you’ve added to my long term TBR yet again!! It is seriously ridiculous right now all thanks to your recs - MG is fast becoming a fave genre. I’m on a serious hunt for books for polarthon I’ve never taken part before so I’m super excited and want to make it special!! ❤️💚🧡
477. Thanks for the recs. Some I read, others I wanna read, and a couple I hated. LOL I don't remember my reads well enough to tell you which was my favorite.
🧡💚 I finally read Nevermoor a few months ago and loved it! Olivia from Olivia’s Catastrophe and someone else (I don’t remember cuz I don’t follow them 😅) are doing a read along of the series starting this month and I’m so excited to continue the series with them! 🥳
Frostheart is by far the best series I've read in a while. Morrigan Crowe is fabulous but I think its sequels have fallen short of the original book. Currently reading malamander.
Thank you for all these recs! Do you know any middle-grade books about abandoned children? (without the parents being dead) Amazing video as always! ❤️ - Kevin
I love the fact that you love middle grade. It is a very underrated genre. I do always enjoy MG when I read it. I need to read more.

2 of my favorites that weren’t on your list are Ship of Shadows and The Strangeworlds Travel Agency 🎃🧑🏼🎤🧶👒🦊🐸
📙🧡📗💚 Took notes on this one, need to go back and watch the other top 10+1 and take notes on that one, too ;) my tbr is out of control!!!
These are such good suggestions! 🧡💚
I own all of these and have only read two of them but the others are a priority! 🧡💚

I really want to get into middle grade so I am literally taking notes 👀
💚🧡 so many amazing books. My favourite middle grade of 2020 was The Midnight Guardians.
Orion Lost was my Top Middle Grade of the year!!!
I recommend The UnWanteds Book Series by Lisa McMann. From what I’ve read so far of the series, they are so good.
Really great series!
Definitely, I was also able to recommend it to Gavin as well figuring that he likes the MG books as well
My poor tbr!
