One thing to know about most metal: there are no outside song writers. To my knowledge: Jinjer composes by one of the guys coming in with a musical idea, and they build a song from that. And then Tatiana usually writes the lyrics and vocal lines. Although I know Eugene the bass player also has a finger in some lyrics. If I remember correctly. But you are absolutely right about everything having a place in the compositions. There are no places for improvising when you have a metal prog trio (instruments), because then everything falls apart.
Metal is counter culture to popular music, so it's just a basic principle that the band itself writes all music and lyrics themselves. Anything else wouldn't sit well with most fans of any metal, i'd imagine.
Tell me Eugene on bass looks like Tyrion Lannister in this!? Didn't I tell you - Tatijana was a teacher! I'm sure a verbal slap would have been sufficient for most in her classroom!

Fun reaction. I've been dreaming of Tatiana covering Eminem and Rhianna's "The Monster" - there's even a section in the middle with distorted vocals that could be growled. :) The band creates the musical composition together, then hands the music off to Tatiana who finds inspiration for lyrics and weaves her vocal performance into the musical composition, frequently just showing up with lyrics and going with her gut improvising in the studio. On The Top live in Kiev is great, so is Captain Clock at Resurrection Fest. Who Is Gonna Be The One is 80% growls but really good too. Cheers!

Good to see you back with jinjer this is the tip of the iceberg. It gets better from here. My favorite songs are outlander and cloud factory both are on the cloud factory album. They write all their own songs and music. Not like pop music were you have an artist but then you have a bunch of writers and producers putting a song together for the artist to sing . Usually in rock and metal bands they write their own stuff.
There is something special with Tatiana. She is like a magnet to my feelings. She is so genuin and no bullshit. And i think that when you hava grown up in Ukraine, there has been some hardships i will imagine 😉 And you Mrs Penpal, you are so good to react and have good reflections and analysis ❤️ I will follow you 🤘
Hi Tore. I was just telling someone this the other day that Tatiana history of war and hardship really comes through in the way she tells her story. Definitely unforgettable 💕
At my Catholic school in grade 1 I remember mean looking old nuns in the hallway near the offices brandishing yardsticks and belts menacing the school children. They would attack the older children if they didn't walk properly and at the right pace or acted up in any way. Not sure if this song is about the bands personal experiences but I know of what Tatiana is saying. Mom took us out of the school after my first year. Whew i didn't want to be one of those older students in a few years. No wonder the Catholic kids in junior and senior high were the biggest rebels and troublemakers around. LOL
