Lorrie, this property is between barton and orleans. Both have convenient stores, gas stations, small, grocery stores, banks, and post office, as well as a few restaurants. If you head north to Derby/Newport which is 15 to 20 minutes away you have a Hospital, a large array of restaurants and shops, as well as large grocery stores, such as Walmart, Price chopper, Shaws, and also a Newport Natural. You can also head south to lyndonville/St. Johnsbury and find similar. For recreation, there are a lot of lakes, ponds and rivers, as well as mountains for hiking. Jay peak resort is about 35 to 40 minutes away and Burke Mountain is about 30 to 35 minutes away. I hope this helps.
