- We're back with another modest, budget friendly bike build here with our 2023 Suzuki RM-Z450. For this one we kept the consumer in mind, and went with minor bolt-on upgrades with a simple goal of balancing out the bike and getting it to handle better.
With the help from our friends at RaceTech, we were able to get the suspension to a place where we were happy and with a few other inexpensive mods you've got yourself a mean looking yellow machine that rides great.

the zuke is still one of the best looking bikes out there imo
Ping finally did a Twisted Knee Suzuki build ❤
I wish these were as cheap as everyone was saying I was gonna buy one
Nothings cheap.
@@lewdog8326 right, I just meant five grand cheap like people said I called a dozen dealers cheapest that I found were $7200 and at one of those dealers that had KX450’s for $7000. I haven’t had a Suzuki in 20 years and was thinking it would be fun if they really were dirt cheap.
Didn’t help roczen winning on one.
I got a 22 rmz250 for 6500 brand new leftover 2 months ago
I got leftover a 2022 for 6200$ out the door
hard to imagine any 450cc being "bad" in the modern era. there's so much power and so much 3rd party expertise with the suspension systems. I even like what you did with the graphics (modern bikes look ugly as sin for graphics work b/c of frame/exhaust design I guess). I have one aesthetic complaint though: are you competing with Beta for the world's smallest side number plate? I mean...at this stage in the game, you might as well do away with the illusion of that thing being any use. 😄
ribbing aside, thanks for the presentation. giving the numbers on the shock settings was particularly informative. cheers!
Good to see you Bombay beach days great times
Ping, how about an aftermarket ECU from Twisted Development ? 🤔
Definitely wouldn't hurt!!
Riding a ‘19 RMZ 450, I def appreciate these Suzuki videos! Definitely going to try these 3 changes. 🤙
Nice!
A GET ECU would be a interesting test for the RMZ, their top notch ECU
I have one on my 2018 Suzuki RMZ250 🤙🏻
@@herdfreak2 Ok, are you happy with it?
@@Motoinc Absolutely!
Beautiful!! Bike Wow!
I would love to know lap time differences between this and your Yamaha.
The Suzuki looks bigger to me than the other bikes these days, is that an accurate assessment?
What fuel cell did you get? Looking to get a black rather than the stock blue
Nnnnnnnooooiiiiicccceeee!!!!!
BETTER buy a used rmz250 shock and your problems are gone.....in the rear atlest
So what’s the price for all the mods, fuel price exhaust etc? Links?
raCe tech enzo the best
When you're done testing these bikes, what's happens to them?
They get returned end of season to the manufacturers
I use Race Tech products on my 2018 Suzuki RMZ250 and 2001 Suzuki RM125.
So you said it corners great but the worst thing is handling??? Um what??
The high speed has ZERO to do with the ride height. Ping is cool, but he's clueless on the mechanical workings of suspension. 😂
I’ll let Bones, the race tech crew and every suspension tech I’ve ever worked with know.
Opening high speed
Compression adjusted absolutely settles the shock into a lower position and going in sits it higher. To argue otherwise is to go full retard. That’s where you are.
Is that the one for Roczen? 😂 JK Ping. Sweet bike. Race Tech did the suspension on my YZ's when I lived in SoCal, so I'd absolutely recommend them. Suspension looks like it was well balanced
This is what you get with a lawnmower engine in a dirt bike....it SUCKS
BRAPPP
And it can still win races
Yea pretty bad when it wins races against all the new bikes smh
BRAPP
you get that suzuki from ken 🤣🤣
