I can vouch as well. The game is basically ad free. Very similar to MTG arena but for a warhammer 30k card game. It is actually possibly the best mobile game I have played. Mainly that it is truly add free and not pay to win. Yes you can buy better cards with real money. But it is not ever advertising that. In fact I don't know where or how you purchase "gems" for this purpose. Similar to MTG it can often come down to deck building and what you draw. Even a great deck can lose with a bad draw.

I am a fan of the lore and quite the Warhammer 40k nerd for quite some time now and I am still amazed how deep this lore is. One never stops to discover interesting characters, story arcs and details all the time. This is just one example and you are right, I was never fully aware that Fulgrim tried to turn Manus or that this attempt affected in the way that he believed he had to prove something, which might have made his actions more inconsiderate. Not at least because GW and Black Library put so much focus on so few things for apparent reasons.
As an iron hands player I thank you for this.

@@baldermort it is long enough as it is. As you said there really isn’t much lore on them compared to some of the other 1st founding legions/chapters and this is mainly because their biggest role in the story was so early, but despite this I love them just the same. I was drawn to them because when you think sci-fi war you think cyborgs and who doesn’t love cyborgs. Beyond that it’s their way of war that appeals to me. No nonsense, practical, brutal as war should be.

It mirrors the tragedy of a man's crusade to end religion, only to be placed on a golden throne and worshipped fanatically as a god. The true grim darkness of 40k, is the irony.

I used to look down on the cyborgs of the Iron Hands. Seeing them as little more closed minded mortal resenters. Then I read about Ferrus Manus, and was in turn inspired by his pure devotion to humanity. Recognizing his impact on those around him by encouraging personal strength(body & mind) and self-reliance for the sake of others. Ever bit the bright Sun that the Phoenician was once, but with one iridescent different… Ferrus Manus’ light burned hotter.
The sons of Ferrus Manus are legendary warriors who have served the Imperium for the past ten thousand years, and while they still mourn the loss of their father they turn that sadness into anger and rage against the enemy of mankind. The Iron Hands are the most indomitable of their fellow Space Marines and they will never break, and that strength will continue to inspire others to stand against evil.

The iron hands are certainly least in my mind when I think about color scheme, culture, or deeds. But they are spectacular despite my lack of personal interest.
This is so freaking cool! Lore that follows suce a great game! (They release new campaign missions each month focusing on a different chapter or legion rather. Last month was Emperors Children, now Iron hands. I am actually really enjoying the lore I am learning there, and this is a great accompanying video!)

The story of Shadrak Meduson and how he fought, was betrayed by his own and died are surprisingly great despite it being a bit haphazard and clearly not fully planned out beforehand. It also shows both the strength of the 10th Legion and the weaknesses, that turned them into the brittle jet enduring force, they are today.

Hope we get a Unification Wars and Solar reclamation to go along with the Scouring series so we get to see more lore on the Iron Hands as they where one of the big players in the beginning of the Great Crusade and we can see the 1st Dark Angels as they develop the Princepia Belecosa and how the other Legions adapted them before the Primarch's where found.

I have an old (started in 3rd) Iron Hands founding chapter of mostly first born marines. I collected all the way through to 8th when I added a few primaris, but missed the days when they were the hotness.

And another absolutly amazing entry. You, brother, realy know, how to make each topic shine, how to highlight the best in each aspect of the universe, you focus on. To ignite such passion, that a "Okay, but not my favorite"-faction feels relatable, even - excuse my lack for better words - lovable in a way, even more: natural, as in "a needed element of its ecosystem", realy is a talent. And we need such positive voices in the ever darkening times.
For me, it also caters to the whole, as every faction feels in the right above all others, creating the real horror behind it all just for those, who peak in from outside, seeing how wrong just all of them are at the same time.
Your collaboration with Horus Heresy Legion makes for truly awesome videos! As someone who have read every single Horus Heresy title, I am always amazed about how accurate and extensive their lore summaries are, and you bring it to life beautifully as well as contributing your own thoughts.

While I am a Dark Angels player, and fan, I am grateful for this tribute to Ferris Manus and his 10th Legion. I have admired his determination to make Fulgrim and Horus pay for their treachery and betrayal. Thank you for your fantastic narration on this aspect of the lore. You are a treasure. 😁😁👍👍👍
I give the most love and attention to my Iron Hands collection than all of my armies. I cut, file, and replace at least one hand on each model with a bionic bit sourced from many kits, 3d printed bits sellers, resin etc. Many models have bionic legs and other bits added as well. I paint them in a black scheme with hints of purple and green like oil which is a tough scheme and sort of above my level. I give each model the proper decals, oil paint weathering, rubble filled bases. I think I do this to try to make up for everyone else passing over them.
That transition to the intro was smooooth

Not just Transhumans...Cyborg Transhumans. Really the most terrifying Legion and latter Chapter along with their few successors. The Iron Hands and the Red Talons should be right in that list of most fearful Chapters along with the Minatours, Black Templars, and Charcaradons.
I am so looking forward to your entry on the Gorgon! Fulgrim's story was quite good as well. As I learned more about the Drop site Massacre and what happened to the Tenth Legion it brought to memory "The Charge of the Light Brigade" by Alfred, Lord Tennyson. The Iron Hands don't question the Imperium and what it stands for. They do not answer for their unique customs. That is not their job! They take the fight to the enemy and force them to fight on their back foot. It's my personal belief that the Emperor's Children and Iron Hands were meant to complete each other: the 3rd having the ambition to being the best at whatever they choose and the 10th having the determination to get it done. Same with the Primarchs. When Fulgrim turned to chaos Ferrus lost his senses (literally) and when Ferrus died so did Fulgrim's will to live. That is my point of view. So thank you brother for doing all this work. It's so much fun to hear these stories. Farewell!

Of all the primarchs, Ferrus best understood what his purpose was and accepted it most fully...to smash the enemies of the Emperor. Not to slaughter pointlessly, not to learn about his defeated enemies, or waste time building cities..but to crush the enemies of the Emperor and move on until no more enemies remained. He knew it, he accepted it and that was why he was respected.
Totally agree! Ferrus knew he was a weapon, he knew his purpose and the purpose of his legion. He wanted for nothing more. And we havent seen any evidence of him having aspirations of grandeur, like many of his brothers.
Shadrak Meduson is super Cool, I never heard about this guy before! I loved hearing about him!

Iron hands are so underrated that even Baldemort confuses them with Iron Warriors even in his own video (the part where he introduces Shadrak Meduson)
I do it regularly. I see iron warriors on a script, I say iron hands. And vice Versa. It’s why I never cover the hands. Editing and re-recording are a horror.

I guarantee that when I get to Angron it’ll be every bit as enthusiastic and forceful as any other. I will. I don’t do primarchs often ad they’re so draining. But I’ll see what I can do soon.
I always thought that Iron Hands are criminally underrated in stories and lore because they have so much to give : loyalty and the stubbornness of the fists , proficiency in technology and heavy weapons of the Mechanicum but without their treacherous tendencies, and a tragic history that can rival Blood Angeles. It's a shame really that they are reduced to autistic techboys.
They could truly be one of the strongest legions that Emperor commands only if they could be rebuilt into legion again and given enough credit by GW.
Wishful thinking I know, but the ability is definitely there.
I think that Iron Hands legion in full power could wipe the floor with so many enemies of the Imperium today from Tyranids and Genestealers to Iron Warriors and Orks. Basically anywhere where everything needs to exterminated without hesitation.

Excellent I love this, you have a knack for making the 10th shine! They are so often ignored in favor of other legion/chapters despite having some really cool idiosyncrasies. Whats not to love about extra bionics and heavy weapons?
I have been having plenty of fun making some and the conversion potential I up there for sure. I have especially like exploring the heavily implied necron origin to ferrus' hands and what that might mean for daddy obsessed members.
